Dag's may not have the most sophisticated menu or venue but they have solid bar food, service and ambiance!

We have been regulars of Dagwood's for quite some time...we can always depend on them for comforting and tasty and fresh bar food favs, amazing staff, and friendly community members.

Whether you saddle up at the bar or take a booth or high top you will experience good energy and whatever local sporting event is in season.

It's the best dive bar in the area...a must if you're into that type of thing! Xoxo!

Finally a bar and grill with great food that is also affordable. Place was packed. We ordered jalapeños peppers, onion rings and sweet potato tots. Burger was on point!

Food was disappointing and service was too. Surprised this place has so many good reviews.

wait, a bacon burger for $4.50? serious?

wait, burger, fries, and draft for $6.50? kidding? Oh, only Bud, or Miller. Ok.

Condiments were free, and it was 50 cents to add lettuce, tomato, mayo (all 3)

So, was it a restaurant quality, Kobe beef, quarter pounder with premium cheese? Of course not. It's cheap burger. But it tasted good. I would surely go back next time I'm in town.

Fries were so so and Bud/Miller are definitely not my thing. I'd skip the $6.50 meal and just go for a burger.

And add an app - wings were delicious and the mushroom fries were 8/10.

Oh, and our server was super!
No rays of sunshine, but super efficient, and quick. We didn't have to say it and she got it.

Definitely re-visit! And sit outside next time.

I asked for a side of ketchup with my burger and the owner came out and shot me in the chest.

Menu was short because it was game day, but cheese burger and adult beverages were just what we needed.

First off I want to start by saying I am not from around this place. Was not used to the type of bar this was but walking in first reaction was this place is super dark could not see a thing but I was starving and needed something to eat. Service was ok but could be better the place was very busy and understaffed. I started with the mozzarella sticks which I will admit I do not usually like mozzarella sticks like that but I did enjoy these. I usually like breaded more than battered but these were good. Then me and my father both ordered burgers which we were told they were the best thing on the menu. The burger was dry not much to it and I would not say that was a great burger. The fries were not very good ethier. The problem is they had an inconsistent taste some were delicious some were not. I would not go here again but if this is your style then do.

I LOVE this place. I moved to Lansing 4 years ago and have been there often. It's a personal place that is populated by the neighbors and working class on any given day. The food is bar food, but it's above average. It's fast and more than affordable. I love the atmosphere. It is most always packed, and deserves to be. Get a Dagwood burger, a pitcher of beer, some wings and enjoy a romp through time when customers were valued and appreciated. Outstanding! A+

I do not understand why people say "come for the burger." The cheeseburger I had here this week was slightly better than a McDonaldz cheeseburger. My goodness this place was a disappointment. For $3 you can have a subpar burger! Yeah!!!

Fries were soggy, too.

Come for the PBR. Seek your quality burger elsewhere.

Best Lansing dive bar! A diverse crowd. The food is really good! I recommend the sweet potato tater tots and blue cheese dip! Amazing! The olive burger and fried dill pickles is a favorite, too.
