When we first went in, my kids were whining about how they wanted McDonald's instead of this place. We were looking around the area, and found Da Andrea. We walked in, and my kids were still whining. We looked at the menu, and my oldest son complained about how he didn't understand any of the food names. We ordered, eventually, and we took our first bite. The moment we tasted it, that food was DELICIOUS. Seriously recommend this place. I TOTALLY recommend this place.

This place is a fantastic Italian restaurant! Da Andrea on Greenwich Village offers a wonderful selection of delicious Italian dishes. Definitely try the Chicken , Carbonara Pasta , Spinach Ravioli, and Lamb Shank! Everything is absolutely delicious! Staff is friendly and professional, ambience is great, the place is nicely decorated , and they have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Making an online reservation in advance is recommended. I wish I knew about this place sooner!

Food/Drinks: This place is delicious. I genuinely think about there food randomly and reminisce about the taste lol. We went for brunch and I got the avacado toast. LISTEN I EAT AVACADO TOASTS IN MOST BRUNCH SPOTS I GO TO, AND THIS WAS A TOP TIER AVACADO TOAST ! Crispy, creamy, and topped with a perfectly cooked egg. The french toast were sooo delicious and cooked to perfection topped with whip cream, and delicious strawberries, and syrup. They had a a decent menu with so many different options. Their drinks were strong and just as good as the food. Everything was as good as it looks.
Location: This location has a rose theme. Roses are throughout the outside area. They have inside and outside seating, and it's a perfect spot for a nice date night in the summer time in NYC. They don't have private parking but it's the city iykyk.
Service: The service was excellent! They were very professional, attentive, and friendly.
If you hit NYC I recommend this spot. You won't regret it !Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 1 - Austin B.Santa Cruz, CA2743623May 12, 2024Seated via Yelp Reservations
The ambiance here is amazing. We got lucky with nice weather so we got to sit outside and enjoy the string lights and flowers.
The food here was a 6/10. Nothing to write home about. The gnochetti was unfortunately very one note, and the sauce just tasted like thickened cream, barely a whisper of Gorgonzola. I had to salt mine pretty heavily to make the dish come to life at all, because of the blandness.
Service was standard. Nice enough. There was twice when they took our dishes/drinks when we weren't finished and moved away too fast to hear us say we weren't done, lol.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 11, 2024
2.5
The host was very helpful and accommodating for our large group of 8.
The food was incredibly mid. Like very mediocre Italian food. Our waiter was also very rude. Didn't make eye contact when we asked questions even.
The appetizers were okay but nothing stood out. Same with the entrees.
Nothing to write home about. Would not come back.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - May 8, 2024Updated review
Came here for an early dinner Saturday night. Service was good and it wasn't crowded, but by the time we left, it was pretty packed so definitely make a reservation.
The food was quite good, the whole table was satisfied. Desert was yummy. The ambiance was cozy, dress was casual. Prices were typical for New York. Bathroom was small but decently clean.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1Mar 30, 2024Previous reviewCame here for an early dinner Saturday night. Wow!
I've been seeing all these wonderful pictures of the fresh pasta entrees at Da Andrea and made a reservation for lunch on Saturday.
Parking? Easy peasy, there is a garage across the street that was priced pretty reasonable.
Once we walked inside, we entered a romantic and rustic Italian eatery.
Viewing the wine list, its a Oenophiles dream with a nice selection of Italian wines. My wife ordered a rosé and I ordered a bold Super Tuscan to get the brunch party started.
To start, we ordered the Insalata Di Pera as well as the Campagnola flatbread.
The Insalata Di Pera was an Arugula salad topped with Poached Pears, Gorgonzola, Walnuts and a tangy Honey Mustard dressing. The pears were soaked in a warming spice with lots of cinnamon flavor.
Next was the Campagnola flatbread. The handmade Mozzarella and sliced Prosciutto e Parma elevated this dish to another level. To me, the mushrooms were an afterthought. Still, another fabulous starter dish.
The finisher was the made in house Parpadelle pasta. What made this dish was the Lamb Ragu and Tomato Sauce, very silky and rustic. When you have a fresh pasta dish, I don't like mushy pasta. This was cooked the perfect al dente, not too hard and not stracotto.
Da Andrea, it was a pleasure to dine at your restaurant.

Visiting New York and made reservations for this restaurant. Cute nice and cozy atmosphere when you walk in. We ordered the veal ravioli and also carbonara and both were excellent plates of food. Plus the drinks were very delicious.

You can smell the fresh ingredients from the moment you walk in! Seating area is a pretty tight fit throughout.
