Called them for a stage for a concert. We used them last year but the stage was a little wonky so I asked how we could we make it better this year and instead of working with me they just said we don't want to do business with you.

Just had a large outdoor party this past weekend and used Content Party Rentals - we are so happy with the quality of service and professionalism of this company. The office staff helped us choose the right size tent and supplies, and the tent set-up crew did an amazing job quickly and efficiently while working around a basketball net and large bush in our yard.
Although it didn't rain the evening of the party, it did later that night and everything under the tent was protected and dry - good quality tent with no leaks! We also rented round and oblong tables, and 70 chairs - everything worked perfectly.

Excellent attention and service for a small job, on somewhat late notice during a busy season.
I spoke to Pat. She was very pleasant and efficient. I only needed a few things: several tables & table covers, and 20 chairs. She even called me to double check on the color of the plastic table covers, a very small detail. Everything arrived when it was supposed to and was picked up as promised.

used them before and had no issues. i am never going to use them again and will instead use eastlake rentals.
the quality of table/chairs: eh, they've seen better days.
the quality of service: they were unloading my car. chipped the bumper. the helper told the manager. the manager (who is actually the owner), came out screaming and wondering why they called him for such a small scratch because its no big deal. he then proceeds to say that my 7month pregnant sister who dropped off should've taken the chairs out herself. continues to yell about it. i call to ask them what happened, receptionist is rude (like i hate life rude) and i get transferred to arlene (i like arlene which is why this review as an extra star). of course the owner says he didn't yell. well, what man would admit to yelling at a pregnant woman....... so yeah, never again. i just don't know how an owner of a business could be so rude. even if the customer is wrong, you don't need to yell at them. and content, if you're reviewing this..dont even bother telling me he didn't yell. you have cameras. you can see what happened.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Azahar N.Carlstadt, NJ423Nov 22, 2017
I have use content party rentals many times in the past without incident . Today I was having tables and chairs delivered for Thanksgiving like I've done in the past and they refused to deliver because they said they don't go upstairs that they only deliver to the ground floor Which has never been the case in the past had to have everything left by my front door and had to lug it up ourselves. The woman who answers the phone is beyond rude and nasty wouldn't let me get a word in told me she was sending someone right now to pick up the tables and chairs from my home and that she was going to reimburse my money. Funny she had to call me back a few minutes later and offered to send somebody to bring the tables up because I guess her boss must of heard her rude and unprofessional behavior. Apparently she's never heard the saying the customer is always right. She just single-handedly lost a customer because I will never use them again and I will tell everyone I know not to use them. If I was her boss I'd be looking for a new employee because I don't see how any business owner would want his employee treating customers in that manner and turning them away.

Some friends and I have been renting tables and linens for our Thanksgiving extravaganza for a few years without complaint, but this year they messed up and changed our order without notifying us, resulting in oddly sized tablecloths, and disregarded our requesting for napkins a different color than the tablecloths. We like our parties to have some flare in the linens, what of it? We requested the different colors by email and voicemail to make sure they got it. When we noticed the mix up, we asked if we could switch them out and they told us we'd never requested yellow napkins. And all we got was a "sorry" as they walked away. They'd been great in the past, but this past experience was not great. Not at all.

To anyone running an important event for home, the public or a business ...
This organization provided all the needs perfectly for my 10th wedding anniversary "at-home" party (several decades ago!). When my two major volunteer events needed services for VETSweekNJ - Veteran Hiring and Resource Fair and the Third Annual Stand Down in Morristown - Content literally covered everything. They quickly responded to our inquiry and RFP with prompt and accurate assistance.
Arlene was gracious, professional, calm and followed-through by phone and e-mail on every aspect of the order from the first estimated numbers to final billing. Anyone working under a lot of pressure will benefit from Arlene's reassuring nature.
Our non-profit hosting organization was a new customer for Content. Without meeting me or requesting any formal contract or financial application from the host, they accommodated payment arrangements.
Content also knew how critical the need was for early delivery to get set up before donated clothing would arrive for distribution. They arranged the delivery schedule to meet the unusual military venue opening time frame so we could leverage all our volunteer hours as early in the day as possible.
We are confident that the feedback from our event will be exceedingly positive, just as our experience of Content. It will be another delightful pleasure to work with them to deliver successful more successful VETSweekNJ events for 2015 and beyond!
