Despite not having meatballs, Avanzare delivered an awesome dining experience. The rib eye (cut by Chef Tony) was perfectly cooked and delectable. I don't say that often about steak. But this was primo steak. Since the drinks were flowing, I skipped the dessert.

The service was excellent and that's what brought it up to 4 stars.
The restaurant is loud, we were seated in the back room with a TV and it was nice and not so loud!
Started with complimentary bread with pesto or butter and oil in the table. Solid start. The bruschetta was very good. Bright, fresh, refreshing.
I had the rigatoni minus the chili flakes. Rigatoni was good, not the best ever, perhaps due to not having the chili flakes. Well made. Fresh ingredients. The flavor was solid but nothing stood out. I kept the leftovers and it made for a nice lunch the next day. Good portion sizes.

We have always experienced great service and great food here. A little loud...looking forward to seeing if it will be the same at their new location. We had reservations but waited around 15 minutes as several tables were lingering. Love the bread and butter/oil & balsamic they bring to the table. Was impressed to see they were sourcing their olive oil from a local vendor, Tantara Farms. Will have to check out their store. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and top notch.

Great food and atmosphere. We eat here often. Excited for their new location. I am sure the food will be equally as good.

We moved away and hadn't been here for 10 years. Happy to say, it's still as good as ever! We sat at the bar and Matt was amazing! Overall fantastic!

The food and service is fantastic. The store front is deceiving. You are greeted by a friendly host and atmosphere. This is my fourth visit and it has never disappointed.

First of all, let me start on a positive note - the service at this restaurant was absolutely stellar! Our server and the entire staff were incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our dining experience.
Unfortunately, the positive aspects end there. Aesthetically speaking, the restaurant appeared run down and patched together, giving off an impression of just getting by. The ambiance was lacking, and it felt like minimal effort had been put into maintaining the overall appeal of the place. Our first impression was further dampened when we noticed that the silverware provided was not only dirty but also had a cheap and flimsy feel to it, reminiscent of dollar store utensils.
Now, let's talk about the main event - the food. With a bill totaling $250 for four people, our expectations were understandably high. However, the reality fell disappointingly short. Each dish we ordered resembled and tasted like something straight out of a frozen meal, reminiscent of Lean Cuisine. The presentation was lackluster, with an unappetizing, unknown brown smudge on each plate. It even prompted a light-hearted remark about it looking like someone had drizzled Hershey's syrup and then dumped a freezer meal onto the plate.
One of our selections, calamari, was a particular letdown. It was overcooked to the point of resembling rubber bands rather than the tender delicacy we anticipated. The overall flavor of the dishes was bland, requiring an excessive amount of salt and pepper to salvage any semblance of taste.
Regrettably, given the overall experience, we have decided to take our money elsewhere next time. While the service was commendable, the lackluster atmosphere, subpar silverware, and disappointing food quality make it difficult to justify a return visit. First visit and we were immediately surprised how large the restaurant was, because the Stor front is not at all telling.
We wouldn't of even ventured in if it weren't for friends praising it
I now will praise it too
We shared the rack of lamb along with 2 insalata alla Tony replacing mixed greens and spinach for romaine ( personal preference )
Our server Roy was very accommodating and accurate on our said desires and served us well.
We also enjoyed some nice glasses of wine

The only reason we come here is Yaya! Yaya sits down and makes us feel like family! The food is to die for! Perfect place for date night!

My FAVORITE restaurant in the country. Not kidding. Yes it's an Italian place, but you've GOT to try their steaks' I recommend the fillets parmigiana. It's otherworldly. Chef Tony is wonderful at what he does. They are moving into their new location and I'm looking forward to seeing what's new and improved.
