I have not been here in 5 years and thought I would give it a try again. This is a very expensive place for pizza, but wanted to splurge for my husband and I. The gentleman that took my order was nice but seemed a bit confused by some of the questions I asked. Maybe because of a language barrier I am thinking. I asked for one thin crust pizza and another pizza with a thicker crust pizzas. Both crusts were the same thickness. The crust on both pizzas were very spongy floppy crust, maybe it needs to be cooked longer or it was from the overly greasy/oily cheese and pepperoni. The edges of the crust were not as limp.
Neither one of us were not impressed with paying over $40.00 for two medium pizzas that were not very good.
Although we will not be back, I wish this establishment the best in their future.

I'm am lowering my review because My wife brought home a real bad pizza the other night .. less toppings , smaller pie with almost no sauce .... We are regular customers !
The "Husband " was not there so the "Kids" and Wife" were... they failed ! It was terrible... so we eat at round Table last night .
Maybe have the family stay home and find some new employees ....right now we are done .

Recently we have tried this place again with an invitation from the owner, they made us a free pizza that was fantastic!... great customer Servise

Pro's: Super delicious pizza - loved it!
Con's: No store in Reno! :(
      Go back?: Yes!

Pizza. So many different variations. From chains to Italian restaurants to pizzeria's...it is hard to get around to trying them all! Personally, I think what defines a great pizza is so different for all of us and I think it is based on the type of pizza you grew up on. THAT is the flavor that sticks in your brain. THAT is the flavor you are forever seeking to experience again. For me growing up in San Jose, there were two pizzas: For a quick, close-by night, Round Table with Italian sausage. But if we had a little time, we went to Guido's. The flavor of their pie set the pizza-bar for me. The sauce, the type of mozzarella, the Italian sausage - I will forever quest to taste that pizza again. (Guido's closed decades ago :( )

My gf and I were shopping in Carson last weekend and chose Flat Earth Pizza for lunch. We started with the Tuscany salad - wow! It was delicious with its combination of green apples, blue cheese, toasted pecans, dried cranberries with their balsamic vinaigrette dressing was super fresh and so tasty. We shared one and I really enjoyed it.

We ordered the regular-sized Great Bambino pizza. Wow...I was so happily surprised...although not Guido's, it WAS EXACTLY LIKE the flavor I am looking for when I am ready to sink my teeth into a pizza. I was super happy with the flavor and the fresh ingredients.

The restaurant is super cute with a warm pizzeria feel. Our server was very nice, friendly and cordial. Now, can we see one open in Reno? Thanks, guys. It was great!

The Great Bambino! Pepperoni, onions, seasoned mushrooms, smoked sausage, black olives and fire-roasted peppers.

Born and raised NYC and since moving to Nevada 6 years ago, I have been on a hunt to find an establishment that reminds me of home and my search has finally come to an end!

Hand's down, the best pizza that I have had out West EVER! The crust was perfectly cooked nice and crunchy, the sauce was tasty and evenly spread throughout and the fresh mozzarella topped with basil was the icing on the cake.

We also ordered the buffalo wings of which were a huge hit as well. This place would make a killing if it were located in downtown Reno or near UNR. Its a 35 minute trek for me when visiting but I will be sure to make that drive each and every time I go back for a visit!

P.S. They also offer beer on tap and wine

Very clean place. A little small, but nice. I ordered two medium pizzas and some chicken wings, and the service was decent, the pizzas were great-tasting, and the wings were alright. Only complaint I have with the establishment is the cost. Very high prices for pizza. Very high. It's great pizza, but working Families can't afford to eat there every week. Maybe once a month if you have the extra money to spare. So that's kind of a bummer. Just a head's up on that. Food is great, though.

We were in the area for business and decided to stop by cause it had a real brick pizza oven. The service was polite and friendly but that was where the positive review ends. The person who took our order did not speak or understand English hardly at all. We repeated our order multiple times and even pointed to the items we wanted on their menu. She had to come back to ask again what our order was about 5 minutes later despite writing it down. I ordered the smoked wings and an "old world margherita" pizza and my partner ordered the "Fungus Amungus" pizza and we got an order of the cheesy bread.

My pizza was correct but had barely any cheese on it at all and one wilted basil leaf. My partner received a NY style pizza. We informed the waitress that it was not the correct pizza and we wanted the correct one. She took the NY one back and added mushrooms to it instead of making the correct pizza and then told us she wouldn't charge us for the Fungus Amungus pizza. I said we will pay for the Fungus Amungus pizza if she will bring it out but we were not paying for the NY pizza as we did not order it. We asked again for the correct pizza to be made as we did not want the NY pizza.

She left the table and never returned. We waited for 10 minutes and they never started another pizza so we figured we were never going to get the correct pizza so we tried both pizzas. They were bland and had a sweet marinara sauce instead of actual pizza sauce. The cheese was rubbery and the crust was burnt on the edges and limp in the center of personal 8" pizzas. The cheesy bread came out at the size of a regular pizza at 12" across. It was not what was posted in the picture on their website at all. It had a ocean of grease gathered on top and over a dozen napkins later was finally manageable. Again it was bland with the rubbery cheese and you wouldn't even notice it had a crust if not for the few edges not drenched in grease.

The "smoked" wings are slightly smoky flavored but they came out in a few minutes so certainly are not smoked. There was no real flavor to them though they were supposed to have a dry rub. They tasted deep fried and tossed with some liquid smoke. I got a pitcher of iced tea and was charged $12 for what amounted to 2 1/2 glasses of tea. The cost per drink is $3 and there are no free refills. We couldn't eat most of the cheesy bread due to the taste and texture and threw out the leftover pizza once back home. The quality of all the food was severely lacking for the exorbitant prices they charged.

This place may have been great in the past but now it is not worth mentioning except as a place to avoid and to warn others about. It's a shame, cause that brick pizza oven could make great pizza if the staff was competent and used quality ingredients. I've had bar pizzas and wings that are 100X better than this place. Plus the bar bathrooms were cleaner. Next time we are in Carson for business we will find someplace else to dine. Waste of $70 and our time.

Looking for something good in Carson after a morning of shopping, and called on fellow yelpers for assistance, and they steered us to Flat Earth Pizza.
It's in a strip mall - so plenty of parking. Lot's of windows and light - not like some pizza places. You seat yourself, and we grabbed a 4 top - there were 3 other tables enjoying pizza.
Server came over right away, and asked for drink orders. Stella for me :) We ordered the Bambino - along with the Tuscany salad. They brought the salad out first to share, and the dressing was to die for. Very good salad. I could have eaten more. The pizza came out - big for a medium, and cut in 4 slices, and you folded the slices for easier eating. Plentiful with toppings, and the crust was crispy like we like em. The sausage was probably the standout ingredient, but no complaints here....It's a great family spot - with some games for kiddos.
      Very affordable too!

I don't get here too often because I live in Reno but from last year the quality has gone down.
I would typically come for a calzone because a good calzone is hard to find.
This calzone just seemed very under cooked. It was very soggy and the cheese didn't feel completely melted.
The calzone is a good size but they do not cut it, which makes it hard to eat.
It seems that there must have been a change in management and with that came a change in quality.

Our family came in and had pizza here and Jacob was our server. I can't say enough about this young man. He is such a pleasure and funny as well. We got to know him during our time eating dinner and he is an inspiration! Great food and a great employee! I would definitely recommend!
