I ate here back in early-ish January and haven't been able to stop thinking about it since--I'm already dreaming of eating here again the next time I'm in Paso Robles.
First off, this is clearly a spot beloved by locals, and for good reason! Every single dish I saw here was beautifully plated, with generous portions. I had one of the best chicken piccata's of my life here, and their soup of the day (chicken noodle) was also comforting and divine.
The service was incredible, which came as something of a surprise considering you order at the counter, find a seat and then they bring the food out to you; I've spent a good chunk of time working in the food industry in the past, and it's always a pleasure to see both the front and back of house working together like a well-oiled machine. I also espied a cute interaction between an older lady guest and one of the young gentleman working here--he greeted her by name and even helped her figure out something with her smart phone, which was really heartwarming.
The ambiance is a mix of cozy-casual, with local's artwork for sale on the walls and some really gorgeous, thriving plants adding some greenery. I loved the self-serve drink station and was recommended a lovely red wine to enjoy with my meal (which they brought out right away after ordering at the counter).Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Nathan H.Pasadena, CA22715Apr 22, 2024

A nice place that's trendy and hip yet still affordable and the food is very good .
Street parking out front can be dicey at times, I don't mind walking a block .
Super clean and good wait staff .
They come to your table and take your drink order then you have to go to the register to order and pay, they deliver your tasty and moderately priced food to your table .
Wine list .
I had ice tea, I'm allowed to go refill my own glass so no waiting and no hassles about how much ice I want or don't .
Please give this place a try, they're trying to be hipster / richy rich but are still simply a nice place to relax and have a good lunch / dinner .
Lots of four tops that can easily be moved to handle a group, they also will reserve a couple tables for your group if you call in advance .

This is a beautiful restaurant with amazing customer service. We were walking around the downtown and saw this place.
We came in and were greeted by a full restaurant. One of the employees greeted us and advised we had a 7-10 minute wait. Sure enough, 8 minutes later they were cleaning a table for us.
You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table.
We had the kids lasagna, kids noodles and lamb gyro. All were good and everyone ate it all. Great place!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Dec 28, 2023
You come here and seat yourself and get the menu and then order at the counter. Overall was happy with the food. I got the cup of brocoli cheddar soup (I like Panera's better), not saying it's not good but pretty average. I also got the chicken curry salad and the curry overtakes the whole flavor but weirdly, I did enjoy this salad.

Spot on! From start to finish!
Here's the deal... next time you're hungry in Paso Robles, park on the street for 2 free hours. Come on into Odyssey. Grab a menu and head to the register to be greeted by lovely people who love being there and are happy you came. Order and pay at the counter. On the way to the table of your choice, stop to make your glasses of ice water with lemon. Or iced tea, soda, whatever you ordered. Food came fast, fresh, hot and perfectly prepared and beautifully presented.
The Mexican Nopales chicken soup really hit the spot. Rich thick broth, flavorful and hearty. This is comfort food.
Next up, the Rib Eye Steak salad... just as fabulous as it looks! We were so impressed with the quality of the steak and how perfectly it was prepared. Somebody kiss the chef!
Blue cheese and bacon aplenty and only the best of the best. Fresh crisp bed of vegetables. I love organic cucumbers. They're never bitter, just crisp and delish!
Love you Odyssey! Will see you again!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - C A.San Jose, CA126Apr 20, 2024
Reheated frozen food. Stirfry tasted like lean cuisine. Not sure if they even have an actual kitchen.

Paso Robles, Ca.
Fabulous. Came here on the recommendation of a local to get take out so we could eat while charging the car a short distance away (Not Walkable).
Not only was everything delicious but the portions were huge. My three steak tacos were presented half open so I could marvel at how lean each piece of steak was and how each taco was simply stuffed with this awesome carne. I hate gristle in tacos, which is why I usually avoid Asada or beef. It's like standard procedure to put the cheap cuts of meat in a taco. These tacos had no gristle, all fat was trimmed. The meat was grilled and delicious. The shrimp tacos were equally amazing. Because the portions were so large we also had a delicious road dinner several hours later.
If you order on line you can park in one of the green spaces downtown which allows you 20 minutes to run in and grab your order.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 5Oh no 1 - Dec 1, 2023
In town for a 60th celebration on Saturday. Cold evening craving some warm soup. Came across this place, and what a win! Pea soup, and I picked the side of Pesto pasta. My choice was truly delicious! The place was very busy, yet the wait was not long. The servers were very helpful and very nice. Highly recommend.
