I've been going to this salon for 2 years now since my first post so I figured it was time for an update! If you're looking for a good place to get cute gel nails, this is it! I usually come here if I want my nails to look extra nice for a special occasion, and I always get a lot of compliments on them! I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE their designs and creativity! It's amazing what they can do with their little brushes. I usually look at their instagram (@cyncsalon) to get an idea of what I want before I go. Definitely make an appointment before you come in because they're usually fully booked! It can get kinda pricey if you want a more complicated design but hey, you get what you pay for! Your nails won't chip and it lasts long so you definitely get your money's worth! Mine usually last about a month. :)

Service is top notch! All the ladies who work here are super friendly and polite! Meg and Mai are awesome!! They also have a location in Sawtelle so if you live in West LA, that one may be closer to you.

      Parking: free street parking!

Apparently I wasn't White or Mexican Enough to get my Nails Done. A Fill with Gel...

If it was because your Closing... You Should Have Said that vs You Can't Do My "Type" of Nails!

      Since When?

I was never able to get service from them... I walked out with the same Nails I walked in with... Damn Shame!

      1 star = customer service
      1 star = ambiance

-Other than that I certainly wouldn't be speaking honestly if I said that I loved the place and would come back. Their mani/pedi prices are atrociously high and the nails didn't come out like I expected.

I have been coming here for 3 years now and these girls never disappoint! I have given ever Idea I have and my nails will always come out exactly how I wanted them! There is always such a calming vibe here. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else!
I have to mention Mai. She is the best! She is really talented with her work. She is a perfectionist. She even did my nails for my wedding. I even get compliments on my nails when it is time to get them re-done. Thank you for my beautiful nails!!

Ever go somewhere that you expect to pay a little more than you are used to, but when the bill comes its way more than you were expecting so much so that it almost makes you feel sick? Specially when
you have an underwhelming experience. This happened to me here.

The nails I got were cute but I could not for the life of me justify the price for something that lasts 2 weeks max. I normally get my nails done every 2 weeks and I normally do acrylic, gel and design somewhere else at the 1/3 of the cost of Cync Salon (where I only got gels and design). If I were to come here regularly every two weeks the same money I spent here could be used as a car payment for a pretty nice model. But I digress

The pedicure was really disappointing, I didn't even get my feet soaked. I didn't realize thats how it would be done, a dry pedicure where all you get is your polish and cuticles buffed off with the nail drill. They should let people know their first time that they do things differently because the majority of people going in for a mani & pedi expect their hands and feet to be soaked and feet buffed.

I don't plan on going back.

I think if it was explained to me that they did things differently it would have been a better review specially since they knew it was my first time. I mean if you can budget $400 a month for manis and pedi's then this is the place for you!

I came here after seeing this place on instagram. I am very particular about the nail and it's designs. I initially liked this place because they had many pretty designs. They looked very intricate. Mind you, they do warn you about there fees and how high there price point when you make an appointment, so if you don't want to or your not the person to spend some money with getting your nails done, this is not the place for you.

Once I arrived, they were really nice getting me settled right away. No waiting much. I have been to places where I still had to wait even though I made an appointment at some places. And I don't like that 1 bit.

They got started with my nails and little by little the whole design was complete and it was gorgeous! They didn't stumble on doing anything nor they pretended to know how to do something. They were very professional and work a lot faster then I ever experienced. I highly recommend this place for girls who likes to have long gorgeous nails and don't mind spending a few dallied for it. They can do gel extensions, that was a plus for me. (I don't like acrylic).

Another upside, your nails lasts more then a month!! I was dishes with my hands. I work on projects with them and they did not fall off! I think my point to doing nails are 1. Design 2. Longevity. I posted a before and after picture, so please go take a look!

I went to get my nails done here 11/19/16. Today is 12/20/16. Going on 5 weeks.

So excited to be back for my monthly Mani-pedi. Sweet little Japanese nail salon in old town Torrance. Mai always does such an amazing job- looking forward to what artistry she has in store for me today!

So I wanted to splurge and get my nails done before my eurotrip tuesday. I got my nails done friday, and then on monday morning (today)
my nails chipped! I spent $162 for 3 days on pretty nails. And they're not even open on monday for me to get it fixed! I leave tuesday early morning! Ugh! Soooo not worth it for the amount of money i spent.

      After 3 days

This happened a while back and was just reminded recently while walking past to leave a review. I really wanted to like this place since I loved the designs they had out front and I was in search of a new nail salon. I asked for a gel extension and the nail tech glued nail tips and put gel polish over them. They lasted less than a day and I was left looking ratchet with half broken off nails in Vegas. The $155 (including tip) I paid was a complete waste. Safe to say I've never gone back and had better luck with another salon around the corner.

The design was cute but they only lasted a day

This place is awesome. Japanese nails are the only way to go! I used to go to Nail Factory, but couldn't deal with a six week wait for appointments so I moved over here. The girls are incredibly attentive, and the nails last SO long. I love the designs that they can do, the salon is so pretty and everything is very clean.
The price doesn't bother me...with what I was paying to go every two weeks at my last place plus repairs on the bad job they would do, I'm even.
      I've found my home!

I asked them to match my nails to a dress I'm wearing for an event. Love the creativity!
