Walk-ins are totally welcome. Reservations are encouraged, but not required. However, on special event nights - such as Valentine's Day or New Year's Eve - we do require reservations and those dates fill up very quickly.

I've driven by Cuisine & Wine Bistro on several occasions over the last three years and am so mad that it took me this long to walk in and discover the magic and beauty that is within this hidden gem!
My husband and I decided to give this place a try and fell in love the minute we walked in. It is intimate, inviting and romantic with a french inspired menu and many different wine options. The whole menu looks delicious so we had to consul with our waitress and she was so sweet. She checked on us frequently, provided recommendation and made sure that we enjoyed our food.
We ordered the escargot, bone marrow special and duck entree. I personally am not the biggest fan of bone marrow or escargot, but my husband couldn't stop raving about both dishes. That being said, the duck entree has to be one of the best dinner entrees I've had in the East Valley and in a long time, period! I'm so happy that this place is right down the street because I will be visiting frequently!
They also have live music so be sure to check that out. I know I will!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 20, 2018
Made reservations on Friday so my wife and I could go on Saturday at 5pm. They asked if I wanted to sit close or far from live music that would start at 6pm. Also asked if I wanted a high or low table.
We got escargot as an app. They put a ton of garlic. I got salmon and wife got sword fish. The plates were pretty and food was tasty. Just not large portions.
For desert, we got this pastry with ice cream thing. I was very good.
Overall, it was a nice experience.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sep 24, 2017
Drove directly here from Sky Harbor after reading the awesome Yelp reviews. Wifey and I met my brother and his esposa here for dinner and wine. Stupid us, we went through the gate into the back door. Duh? Poor signage or stupid clients? Probably the latter. Haha. Hostess was gracious. Server was somewhere between neutral and friendly: just the basic bring-the-food type gal. Very little chit chat and apparently no knowledge of wine. The food was served quickly, was nicely presented, fresh and flavorful. Everything was delicious and we all snarved our meals like wolverines. The only letdown was the wine list. It mentioned only the wine variety and price with no mention of the winery, vineyard, or year. So, there's really no way to know what you're getting. That's just frankly weird.

Two Doors That Ruined Dinner.
I went back and forth on the star rating. I wanted to give 3 and one half stars. I will get back to the dining environment shortly.
Wine: Although I pointed at the happy hour prices, we were allowed to taste and brought the wines we selected. They cost more and we were not informed. We guessed, but our server did not say we strayed from the happy hour menu. The wine was good so it did not matter.
Soup: Mushroom soup. Started off good. After a few spoonfuls, the taste of the truffle was overpowering. My wife said they weaponized truffle oil.
Appetizer: We had the bruschetta. Two were great. The Brie Fig and walnuts was good. The Artichoke was also good. However, we did not like the Almond/Blue cheese. It was just not for us. Nothing wrong with it. Just not for either of us.
Mains. My wife had the Salmon with hollandaise sauce. Top notch. She loved it. Salmon cooked to perfection. Although my wife said the actual fish had no seasoning. So a bite of just fish without the hollandaise was bland. The sauce "killer" was a good temperature plentiful.
The salmon was served with polenta fries. These were outstanding. We shared and I would come in just for them.
I had the duck. Served with an orange sauce & a duchesse potato. And a little stuffed tomato. It appeared to be well done. I was told that you have to serve duck without pink. This just is not true. With that said, it was tasty. The potato was just ok. Note: I had the duck at their Chandler location and it was like rubber and I did not like the peppercorn sauce.
Now the Doors: Our dining experienced was RUINED because the doors were opened and we got to dine in open air. We did NOT want to dine in open air. I asked "is that door gong to stay open"? She said yes and opened the other door to get a breeze. All we got was rising temperatures and allergy flare ups. Not everybody wants to eat outside. I asked her to close the door and she said no. Allergies are real. Sweating while eating a 100 dollar meal is NOT enjoyable. We could not move because there were no free tables. All reserved. But they turned our table before anybody else showed up.
With that said, except for the door, the service was good. Not going to name her...because I did like her. except for the door.
And yes, we will be back. Yes, the food is good. I need to get over the door thing. I drive past here every day, and never notice it open.

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner after work. The outside look decent, but as soon as we walk in, its very nice and fancy. The host greeted us right away and it seems like we're the only one there, surprisingly, so we got seated. The decor of the restaurant makes us feel really relaxing and makes you want to enjoy some wine and have a nice dinner.
Our waitress was very nice and friendly. Luckily we came during happy hour, which the appetizers and wine was half off. We decided to just order the appetizers since we're not really that hungry. We shared the bone marrow, the mini mix board, smoked salmon tartine, and hand cut fries. The bone marrow is not on the happy hour menu but we just order that because we love bone marrow. All these appetizers really filled us up and we had a glass of wine as well. Everything is so amazingly delicious. (Their happy hour are from 2pm-6pm.) Also the waitress even pack the leftover bones for our dogs for us, I thought that was so sweet.
I would definitely come back again if I need a relaxing dinner and enjoy another happy hour and try their other dishes.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 4812914638Aug 27, 2016
Love the food and the ambiance of this place! I'm definitely coming back around but for the live music!!
I've been to France a few times and I think this food has been right on par with some of the better food experiences I've had in Paris. My favorite was the poached pear - so light and refreshing, absolutely PERFECT for this crazy Arizona heat! Add a glass of chilled white wine and you're good to go. The bruschetta were all pretty good - for me, the bratwurst bruschetta wasn't a huge standout, but the brie and the parma ham were très bien! And I can't say enough good things about the duck!! Just look at that beauty! The orange and Grand Marnier sauce complemented the duck very well without making it too sweet. I'd definitely recommend if you're not in the mood for something as heavy as a steak!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Shirl M.Gilbert, AZ083Nov 22, 2019
This is my favorite neighboring Bistro! My son and girlfriend will also agree 100%. As soon as they arrive from SF, we go there for dinner! The delicious duck can only be found as such in France. That is according to my son's girlfriend who has traveled around the world. My son's rib eye steak was amazing presentation-wise and succulent taste in every bite! I love the moist salmon dinner too. Our last visit was so pleasurable with conversation with waiter, Quinton! He knows his business when it comes to quality food and service. This couldn't have been a better social pleasure than Quinton as our waiter. Thank you!

We stopped by last night for dinner, and wow, what a hidden gem!
This place is absolutely perfect for a romantic dinner or casual, relaxed gathering with friends. The food and wine menu is thoughtful and creative, sure to surprise and please everyone in your party!
We personally enjoyed the goat cheese terrine, shareable fries (curry ketchup and siracha aioli?! Yes please!!) and salmon salad. Everything was excellent. Marissa was our server and was extremely welcoming, knowledgeable and attentive.
Not to mention the live music was terrific! We will be back, I see they're open tomorrow....Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Whitney J.Phoenix, AZ02110Jul 23, 2019
This is mine and my husbands go to date night spot! The service and food are superb! They do an excellent job! We actually have gone to both locations with great experiences the only difference is the alma school location has cocktails and the Warner location only does beer and wine!
