Crowning Glory Designs

Very disappointed in my veil. I brought photos of the horse trim veil I wanted and was having a hard time finding and she said it would be no problem. She worked with me through the process and was very nice but when I went to pick it up, it looked awful.

It looked very cheaply sewn together, with rough cut edges and a limp, cheap edge (horse trim is more stiff). She also supposedly steamed it but it was very wrinkly.

It also had pleats in it that immediately drew my attention to them and looked awful. The pictures I sent her didn't have any pleats. I brought them to her attention but she said she has to see pleats to make it right.

I ended up buying one off yelp that I was much happier with.

I am a little late in writing this but...better late than never! I got married last May and with the help of Candi, I had my dream veil!

I was given Candi's info by my dentist who had recently been married and she is a hidden gem! I contacted her, set up and appointment, and my Mom and I got to help design my veil. Candi, is so warm, friendly, and open. She truly wants to help make you your dream veil.

We met at her office/showroom at her house and she has TONS of samples to try on. I got to see what styles I liked, types of lace, beading, ect. Not only was she so helpful but she made the veil so fast!

She made me the most beautiful Cathedral veil with silver lining and little beads that would catch the light as I walk down the aisle. She ended up saving me hundreds on a veil!

Every time my Mom or I hear someone is getting married I make sure they know about her and how amazing she is!

My experience with Candi was an absolute dream come true! She took the time to show me different veil options and materials. She made a custom length veil for me which is important since I'm taller than many brides and at 5'11" (barefoot) and wanted my veil to hit a certain spot on my dress.

She gave me color swatches and I selected the color that I thought best matched my dress. My veil was ready to be picked up within about a week. *HAPPY BRIDE DANCE!!*

Fast forward to a little closer to my wedding date (okay, too close, lol!), I decided that the color I selected to best match my gown did not match it after all. :-/

Candi said I could bring my veil back in with my dress and she would help me decide on a better color. She did just that and I had my final veil within only a few days!

Candi has a genuine talent... she offers beautiful veils at a great price point. A plus is that she's a fun, calming energy to be around during an otherwise stressful time. Thank you, Candi! I'm going to be sending a lot of business your way!

Perfect veil for the perfect day. I was recommended to Candi from a coworker who used her for her wedding, and I could not be happier. The veil was ready in a few short weeks, and it was better than I could have hoped. I modeled my veil after a very pricey Vera Wang veil I tried at a bridal shop, and Candi crafted mine for about 1/4 the cost. All raw edges, modern and chic, yet timeless and elegant, it was the ultimate accessory for my wedding day. Candi also gave great input about length and color, and all her recommendations came out spot on. The veil was the focal point of my wedding ensemble, so I knew it had to be just right, and it was.

Lastly, Candi was personable, fun, yet always professional, and these qualities (in addition to her skill with lace and tulle) made the 2 treks to Brea from my home in Los Angeles worthwhile ones. Thank you again, Candi!

Candi is AMAZING!!! She was able to make a custom veil for me at a fraction of what it would have cost to get it at the bridal salon where I bought my dress. She takes great care with every detail and helped me design the veil that helped make my outfit for my wedding day. She's extremely patient and understanding, and made my veil with a quick turnaround. She's just the best!

I opened up a dispute with PayPal and the owner had the nerve to claim that the veil "wasn't to my liking" and I asked for a veil with "no design details." This is absolutely false and demonstrates the greediness of a business owner who can't admit fault for poor business practice, in refunding a customer who is dissatisfied with not getting what she asked for! I never once changed my mind about the exact detail of the appliques - I specifically stated I wanted this exact veil and even clarified that yes, I wanted the blusher as well (the veil I sent had two tiers on it).

I've attached my very first email to her, asking for the EXACT VEIL, as well as a detailed picture of the veil I received. I do not have faith that I will receive my money back, however, I would like to save the heartbreak of any bride out there who reads these reviews and has hopes of walking down the aisle with her dream wedding veil.

Additionally, I'd like to add that I noticed that a few appliques were sewn on sloppily, and there was a small tear in the bottom of the veil; but this was something I was willing to overlook for the price of the veil ($200).

Candy was so amazing that she did my veil and my sister's! I showed her a picture and she was able to replicate it exactly. She was timely, fair priced, and professional. Not to mention she's really funny and sweet. Would definitely recommend going to her for your veil needs!

What could I say about Candi and her work? Well, for starters, I NEVER write reviews, but she is completely worthy of one.

After searching high and low for the perfect veil for my wedding, I stumbled upon Crowning Glory Designs and Candi's beautiful work. I gave her a call and she was absolutely sweet and willing to work with me to set a day to go to her in-home studio and start customizing my veil. Ladies, do not look anywhere else because she is the real-deal! Knowledgeable, professional, and friendly, as soon as Candi opened the door, I felt right at home. She is such a caring, welcoming person, and it's as if I had know her for years.

I digress. We walked into her studio and I immediately saw a clean and organized workspace, and lots of netting and tulle and, well, all of the perfect trimmings to make your veil PERFECT for your special day. I went in with ideas, and brought in a photo of my wedding gown, and you could see her wheels spinning and her creative mind and vision at work. She let me try on different styles of veils at varying lengths, and when I decided on a style I liked, she recommended a specific length in order to highlight my dress and be practical for my walk down the aisle (I was going to be descending down a staircase from a terrace, and the staircase was surrounded by twigs and bushes)...and she showed me different styles and colors of lace and other trimmings...

All I have to say is my veil was not only PERFECT, beautiful, romantic, and customized, it was also one-of-a-kind in that Candi used a lace that was obsolete that she'd been holding onto. Better yet, the price for her work? Well, my veil was only $75 once everything was said and done!!!!!!! A veil from other bridal salons will easily cost $250+, so this was an absolute STEAL for something completely tailored to me!!!!

Again, I cannot thank Candi enough for her gorgeous work! I have had many friends get engaged after I did, and I have referred them ALL to Crowning Glory Designs. I could not be happier!!! :)

Candi does amazing work. I was referred to her through a coworker. I got an amazing custom cathedral length mantilla-style veil with French lace and beading. Candi sources the best lace on the market from her buyer in Portugal. She kept me updated on when she had received the lace from Europe and let me know that she would start on my veil next. She only works on one veil at a time and you can really tell the difference. Quality is impeccable. Thank you so much Candi! My veil was GORGEOUS!

Candi is the best!!! During our first meeting, she took her time to go over all possible options with me and explain how it'll go with my dress. She really knows what she's doing. Candi gave me her expert opinion on what she thought would go well with my dress and I was even able to try on many different styles before I found the one for me. What's so great about Candi is that she can custom make anything you want, from the length to the style to the intricate beading...anything you want, she can do!

Her prices are amazing! I could not believe I was able to get a custom veil for a fraction of the price I would pay at a bridal shop. I also want to mention that most bridal shops and other custom veil shops not only cost significantly more but the turn around time is also significantly more. I was getting estimates of 2 months from them but Candi finished mine in 2 weeks!
