Great food and service, haven't tried anything that I didn't like. Loved the beef tips and noodles, chicken strips are amazing!

I'm a big fan of avoiding "chain" restaurants. So when I heard of the Crossbow Restaurant from a friend, I just had to give it a try.

I arrived here on a Tuesday afternoon and ordered off the lunch side of the menu. I sampled the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and white gravy. It was fabulous. It also came with a salad.

The place is spotless. The service is top notch. Since I am on the road and stopped here on my trip back to South Carolina, my only regret is that I won't be able to sample the breakfast or dinner menu.

What a wonderful "hole in the wall"

It's back and better than ever!

Ate at the newly remodeled Crossbow this morning and was pleasantly surprised. The environment was fresh and clean, the servers friendly, and the food was fantastic!

We both got the Crossbow omelette which was cooked to perfection! The hash browns were crispy (as requested) and tasty (as expected).

The food was so good that I ordered some to take home to my bride. (See picture.)

Can't wait to come back and explore the menu. I'd encourage you to give Crossbow a go. You will be glad you did!

On a Saturday morning around 9am I decided to go for some Breakfast at Crossbow. Being my first time I was not nervous about the service when I can see the outside how beautiful the restaurant looks. As I walked in the waitress welcomes me to pick a seat of my choice. Once seated the menu is on the table ready to see my options the restaurant has to offer. Drink (sweet tea) was ready and on my table within a minute of being asked which was amazing. After a couple of minutes of deciding the waitress came back to check if I was ready to order. Once placing my order my breakfast was ready within five minutes.
I got what's called farmers breakfast and my choice was (2eggs, Bacon, shredded Hash brown, biscuits with white gravy and meat) I also added one pancake.
Eggs- was amazing and the temperature was perfect
Bacon- was soft and crispy on the edge which was awesome
Hash browns- was perfect and the temperature and texture did not disappoint!!!
Biscuit with gravy- Really good the biscuits was warm and soft and the gravy was also warm and tasteful.
Pancakes- the size of one pancake was large to best describe and definitely got me full. The pancake itself was soft and warm and the syrup was also really good.
As the food was definitely a huge highlight of my experience I also wanna give my thoughts on the restaurant itself.
The restaurant is very clean and spacious and the lighting is also good with some windows to see outside and makes the dining room feel more alive and open. The restaurant would also be very enjoyable to bring family and friends to enjoy. The restaurants handicap accessibility looks good and would definitely be a plus for our handicap friends and family that wants to enjoy some good food. The restrooms is very clean and modern and the design was beautiful.
      Value:
The price for my breakfast in my opinion was good for what I got, worth every penny!!!
      My Suggestion:
1: Extra napkins on the table would be good as I accidentally spelled some gravy and the waitress was busy attending other customers, I think it would help both the waitress and customer
2: A sign to help find the restroom, that would definitely help a customer find the restrooms as some can be too shy to ask or waitress can be busy.
Note: when I asked to locate the restrooms the waitress/cashier was more than happy to help me locate it, Thank you!!!
That's my review on Crossbow for my breakfast I would most definitely be recommending this place to my family and friends across NWA.
I'm looking forward on coming back for lunch and dinner and see how the restaurant operates at those times.
Here some pictures I took I hope the review was helpful : )

Maybe I came in on a bad day, maybe a new cook but of two diners on the same street the breakfast wasn't good. I ordered 2 eggs, sausage, and biscuits and gravy and I've done something I've never done before, thrown away the biscuits and gravy after 3 bits. You can taste the heavy flour in it and no one wants that in cream gravy. The rest was ok but can't screw up sausage and eggs. I'll try this place again cause only choices in this town for country food is here and Grannies. If someone has better suggestion let me know.

Walked in and waited for 20 minutes without anyone asking for drinks or food. Completely ignored by all waitresses.

      First to Review

We were on a four day bike trip riding the PIG when flash flooding occurred. Our campsite was a wreck so we headed into Huntsville AR and-stopped by the crossbow due to road closures. We both had the burrito which is phenomenal and held up in the back room until the roads opened up. 3 hours later and and an endless cup of Coffe and hospitality later we were able to get bake on the motorcycles. Our waitress even pulled out a fan to dry some of our grear (southern kindness at its best). Large menu and lots of locals is always a good sign. Greeeaat Pancakes!
