We stopped for lunch on a roadtrip after seeing the other yelp reviews and were extremely disappointed. The service was good but the food was mediocre at best. Most of what we ordered came out tasting like it had been sitting out for a while and then reheated in the microwave. I would definitely not stop here again or recommend it to anyone else.

Not good. Drive by. Don't stop. Food was very poor, service was below average, and the dining area was not inviting. Not a good experience and we did not finish what we bought, it was that bad and we wanted to get out of there.

This restaurant is crazy hit or miss. You could go here and it be busy as could be, with good service and clean tables and floors. You may be wondering why I'm rating this as low as I am. That's because, unfortunately, that has happened to me approximately 2 times. This place is never clean. Literally they don't sweep the floors. The food is incredible but only time will tell if you actually get it. One time my family and I visited and waited FORTY MINUTES for them to even acknowledge us and get our drinks. Then, when we left, they acted like we were wrong! Sorry dude, but it's not my fault you're not doing your job! Actions have consequences. This place is extremely run down. Needs help! I wish I could recommend some renovators to try to salvage it but I'd be no help Don't come here if you're hungry!! You may end up waiting for hours on end.. Good luck if you come here!

The appearance of the sign, building and outside landscaping should have told me to avoid this place. The inside wasn't much better with dirty tables, floor, windows, ripped seats, etc. Salt and pepper shakers were gross, not filled and looked like they had not been washed Ever!
The restroom is supposed to have a sign that says Employees must wash hands before returning to work and it wasn't posted. A heath inspector would have a field day with this place. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like.
I ordered a chicken caesar salad and obviously the cook had zero idea of how to make it, bc it was drowning with caesar dressing on the top. I didn't eat the salad at all and pushed it aside. The server brought me a plate and a spoon to "wipe off the dressing". I actually lost my appetite. The server should have taken it back and had it made correctly or offered me something else but didn't, so I left hungry.
The only reason I gave this place 1 star is for the flat bread they give you which was decent.
The only person that could fix this place is Gordon Ramsay! Do yourself a favor and go across the street to Rafaells!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Thomas G.VA, VA3266Aug 1, 2018
I was staying next door at motel 6 and decided to walk over. Arrived around 430 on a Wednesday afternoon. One person was eating. At 5pm I was the only person there but around 510 another couple arrived. Maybe the locals come in later. I had the chicken parmesan which the server said was good. Well it did arrive piping hot but the sliced breaded chicken tasted like it was probably frozen. The chicken kinda just fell apart in my mouth. I'd probably give it a C. Server was nice and the place looked clean.

I've given this place two chances to show me good chicken in their chicken Alfredo pasta. Both times, the chicken looks undercooked. It's so gross. At a minimum, they're undercooked and potentially raw inside. I hope they get this note and correct this significant problem. I gave two stars because the pizzas and lasagnas are good.

We stopped in here for dinner on our way home from a trip.
My wife ordered a salad ($2.99) and an individual pizza ($5 something). She was expecting the typical small bowl of lettuce with a crouton and a tomato and a pizza that is the typical size that you get at somewhere like Pizza Hut. She was surprised on both accounts. The salad was huge and had lots of goodies in it (green pepper, black olive, red onion, mushrooms, tomatoes, cheese...) and was not small at all. The pizza was also much larger than expected - It was a diamond shape, that I would estimate to be about double the size of a normal individual pizza.
I ordered the spinach lasagna. It was not as thick (i.e., not too many layers) as I had expected, but the flavor was wonderful and I had plenty of food (left overs were brought home).
The food was great and our the meals were under $10 each!
If you're in the area, give them a try!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Bill V.Wayne County, PA1134Aug 26, 2012
Excellent, stopped in here on a road trip vacation, family of six, and everyone liked it, and the prices are very reasonable. Calzone, pizza, chicken parm ... all great.
BTW, the $$$$ rating that yelp currently shows is clearly a mistake - this is single $ or $$ at most - nothing over $11 for a single person, and most things well under that.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Pat G.Virginia Beach, VA115335637Aug 19, 2013
This is one of the few choices fairly near the hotel I was staying at and YELP gave it a high rating so off we went. The dining room is rustic with a ranch type feeling, nice but dirty. There were crumbs and napkins under the tables and it has been some time since the window sills have been cleaned. We ordered personal pizzas and a salad. The wine list is extremely limited with brands from the bottom shelf at the grocery stores. I ordered a glass which was ample but again....bottom shelf.
The pizza was delicious. I would swear it as cooked in a brick oven but the very nice waitress said it wasn't. The crust was bubbly, the white cheese and spinach were plentiful. But the house dressing tasted like red wine vinegar straight from the bottle, aweful.
We each took half of our pizzas home, they were huge and filling.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Janice H.Norton, VA015Nov 14, 2020
Should've known due to no customers at noon on a Saturday. NO masks worn by the staff. We ordered our drinks thinking someone else would be waiting on us, but no. NO masks. I asked if there was a mandate in Sullivan Co and was told no. Well there is. We left. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. NOT WORTH THE RISK TO YOUR HEALTH. WE ARE IN A GLOBAL PANDEMIC FOLKS. Do your part. Wow.

My son and I are popup camping at Warriors Path State Park and wanted to eat locally. We chose Crazy Tomato based on the high Yelp rating and we wanted pizza.
As other reviewers have stated: the food was great, the service was above par, and the floors were sticky and in need of cleaning
We were seated promptly and the server brought us some flat bread and sauce as an appetizer. The menu had plenty of choices and the prices were great. The most expensive item I saw was 13 bucks.
My son ordered a personal pan pizza and I had the Catalina Florentine. We were both very satisfied with our choices and portions. I ordered a glass of Cabernet for 4.95 and it was good too.
It was while we were eating that my 13-year-old son pointed out that the floor under our table was very sticky.
Overall, we were very satisfied with Crazy Tomato!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
