This was my first time at Cracker Barrel and I was so happy and surprised to walk in and see an entire store front filled with cute things, clothing, and candy! If we weren't seated so quickly, we could've spent the time waiting looking around their store. Instead, we looked around afterwards :)
This place is HUGE so there was plenty of seating and we had no wait time. You could easily bring your whole family here.
Everything we ordered came out pretty quickly including the drinks, and no complaints about the food either. The portions were large, food was hot and tasted great!
Overall everything was good, but I would come back for the cute storefront alone.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mr. N.Clovis, CA31214Apr 13, 2024
Never been to a Cracker Barrel in my life, only reason I went is because I was staying at the Hyatt for business and it was walking distance.
Service was top notch at the table, but the food was meh... I can get better at Black Bear, hell even Denny's.
I am tired of breakfast places service flaccid bacon, how hard is it to make it crispy. I ordered some sort of egg scramble thing and the bacon was limp and not crisp.. it was like a strip of rubbery fat.
The cash out process is a complete joke, the people at the registers are incapable of simple math and splitting a check.
I Will be staying at the Hyatt maybe 4 times a year now and I will steer clear of this place.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jessica V.Las Vegas, NV039116Apr 10, 20241 check-in
I went with a party of 13. The wait wasn't long, and what makes time go fast is walking around the store they have before entering the restaurant. You can find anything from books, clothes, toys, food, home decor, jewelry, etc. most items are a reasonable price.
Both times I've been here I stayed on the safe side and ordered pancakes; bacon and eggs, typical breakfast ; however I nibbled on a few others food to taste and the fried pickles tasted delicious. I love that you get your own personal size maple syrup bottle, it seems like they warm it up which makes it even better. My children enjoy their chicken and fries, since it tastes really moist and flavorful!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1Business owner information

I ordered curb side pick up. It was ready when I arrived. Very fast response on the actual website. The food was ok. The portion size was acceptable. We ordered the steak and eggs hash brown casserole and the fresh berry French toast. The steak and egg casserole was underwhelming. The eggs seem under cooked. It was soggy. Very little steak given. The combination of the ingredients did not complement each other. The fresh berry was dry and ok. Both meals came with one biscuit each. I didn't go inside. Great price but the quality of food is ok to bland.

Ordered take out for lunch on Friday (veteran's day) around 1pm.
They were busy on the inside with a 30 min wait so I ordered to go. Their website is super easy to use and my order was done in under 10 min.
I got chicken and dumplings, carrots, cinnamon apples and beignets.
Everything in the bag was piping hot and super fresh. The food was very tasty. Biscuits super soft, cooked carrots soft, apples had plenty of glaze, a equal amount of chicken and dumplings and the beignets held up great in the to go container.
Very pleased with my take out experience. Thank you.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Michael V.Yorba Linda, CA06774Feb 10, 20241 check-in
Cracker barrel is a long time family favorite of mine. There aren't any near me so I usually try to eat there when I'm traveling.
Country boy breakfast is my go to. 3 eggs, generous meat, Biscuits and Gravy, and sides. The hashbrowns casserole is good, upgraded to deluxe is great. Fried apples are like dessert, and if you like grits they're always tasty.
The ambiance is the same no matter where you go to the Cracker barrel, wooden rocking chairs out front, old Country store inside, and eclectic decorations in the dining room.
For a large open dining room the noise level is usually moderate.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 1824281586Dec 24, 2023
Well I've seen this chain around and have enjoyed dinners. Today we stopped for breakfast. I was disappointed. I got the egg sandwich and the sausage was over cooked, service not so hot, I asked to hold the mayo and the slopped it on. And while description said bread was toasted, it wasn't. I could have sent it back but then my party would have finished their food and I'd be left eating alone. Hubby had biscuit and gravy breakfast. It was fair. It's a loud place and I'm sure it was a one off poor experience so we will give it another chance next time we see one.
