Cowboy Harley-Davidson of Beaumont

I finally got around to getting taller bars installed on my Street Glide. Since I typically work out of town I can't always get to the HD dealership I use in the Houston area where I live. At the time of this review, I was working in the Beaumont area so I went to Cowboy HD for the bar installation.
The guy I talked to in the service department was very helpful and gave me a quick and surprisingly reasonable (for Harley Davidson) quote for the parts and labor.I set up the appointment, dropped off the bike and the work was done on schedule and I am very happy with the finished product. When I picked up my bike the bars were pushed a bit too far forward for my comfort and at my request they guys were happy to adjust them to my liking.
Thanks to quality work done on time and friendly helpful staff going out of their way to make sure that I was happy with my bike, my experience with Cowboy HD was completely positive and I will definitely be going back.

Absolutely terrible service I will never take my bike there again. The technician had a serious attitude and the service that I asked for was not performed. First off I needed a wire reconnected to a pin in a factory Harley wiring harness. I was told it was not a factory harness because I had a trailer output connected to it. It was absolutely part of the Harley wiring harness. $150 an hour for labor I specifically asked that my wheels were cleaned on my motorcycle while they were off the motorcycle. This did not happen. I had new tires put on my motorcycle and both of them were underinflated 5 lb. I damn near lost control going around the curve because the back end broke away and I was doing the recommended speed limit as posted by the yellow signs. I absolutely will not go back to this place ever. The motorcycle in question is a 2014 Ultra Classic Electra Glide.
Take your vehicle to the ranch Harley-Davidson they provide excellent service and they will even pick up your bike.

I have been dealing with this dealer for a very long time mainly service and parts, recently I have purchased a brand new bike and this location does not disappoint on all levels. This is one of the few HONEST Harley dealerships, and I would recommend them to anybody I know. I shopped around with about 8 different dealers in Texas and this was the best priced dealer. I have always been treated with respect from all sales individuals even when I told them I was not buying and wasn't looking to sell my other Harley. I finally made the decision and dealt with Kiefer, and I couldn't have been more happier with my purchase.

Had a great experience with the service department this evening. Walked in and received a warm welcome from Randy. Then Drake took care of my service needs very well. I was able to speak with the service mechanic and we discussed options, etc. All around had a great experience. There was some type of glitch regarding reward points, but the service manager went to bat and hit a home run for us. We really appreciate it. Of course we had to purchase some blingy goodies for the wife. Happy wife, happy life... and happy bike, happy husband.

Nice quick stop to check out this dealer. Excellent set up, great inventory. Knowlegable staff. If you get a chance to stop in" we found Ashley Barosh in motor clothes very helpfull. I am a big fan of motorcycles. I had one, but rarely rode it. Ever since I sold it, I have longed for another bike, in particular, a Harley Davidson.

While visiting family I had the good fortune of visiting this dealer. Gone are the days of small ratty Harley shops. This building is huge and there were more bikes than I ever imagined. In addition to the bikes, there was clothing for all shapes and sizes.

T-shirts, boots, jackets, etc. probably make up a significant portion of the shops revenue considering the amount of people buying while I was there.

As for the bikes, every model of Harley, plus some customs were on display. According to employees, I could have driven off with one that day. Unfortunately, I have grown somewhat more responsible and realize that my Harley will, for now, remain a dream.

Unless they think you're made of money and/or going to purchase an actual motorcycle there is zero customer service. I just bought myself and my husband new jackets totaling nearly 800 bucks, and at no time while we were looking did a staff member ever ask if we needed assistance. Yet, at the counter there were at least 5 employees chatting away. Mancuso Harley in Houston was a much better experience. Next time I'll spend my money there.

Very happy with my experience everyone was very helpful. I will be back soon. If they don't have what you are looking for in story they will see if they can order it if they can it will be shipped to the store for you.

Full disclosure - I no longer own a Harley.

I remember Cowboy HD from the era in which demand outstripped production and there were two (legal) ways to get a new one - get raked over the coals or get on a list. Cowboy didn't have a list; just a "pay it or leave it" attitude. I bought several new bikes from other dealers (two at Revon's in Beaumont and another in Big Spring) during that same time instead. Great dealing with these other shops in those days.

I won't forget or recommend the dealers who had ADM on their bikes.

The parts dept. was always the best experience; Gwen behind the parts counter at Revon's, then Cowboy could always be counted on at that time when I had to have a Genuine part quick tho'.
