Countryside Animal Hospital Inc

I just recently moved to Ohio and needed to book an appointment ASAP because my puggle had a hot spot that kept spreading. I was told that there was only one doctor, so when I was called and told to reschedule because they had an emergency, I understood and they booked me the following Monday.

They were very sweet and gentle with Gohan. The doctor was the first to tell me about his kneecaps. Most vets will tell you that he would need surgery but the doctor did not however. He said he didn't need surgery, not unless he was having trouble.

I truly respect him and would recommend him to anyone. He cares for the dogs and clearly cared about the owners too, otherwise he would have said my dog needed surgery and that would have been even more money.

Tried many in Toledo. Pifer is the man. Very honest and knowledgeable. Other vets if been with only want your money.

Knowledgeable. Trustworthy. Realistic and down to earth. Dr. Pifer is phenomenal and I trust him with all my animals.

I am really pleased with Countryside. Dr. Pifer is so cool. Aside from him being so personable, he really took the time with me and my dog to explain things to me, and put my puppy at ease.

Even when I just stop in for flea treatment or some dental chews, the staff is really friendly and accommodating. Who's dog likes going to the vet? Mine actually!

Prices are really competitive for the area, so giving your dog the care he needs is affordable too.

I feel really great about taking my dog here, and you should too.

The staff at Countryside is very knowledgable and helpful. Dr. Pifer came highly recommended by a friend of ours. We actually went to him for a second opinion and switched over to Countryside after being at our former veterinarian for 12 years. Dr. Pifer is very thorough and takes time to explain everything he is doing during the exam. He called me personally to discuss options for our kitten who is struggling with allergies. Also, he took extra time during a recent visit to answer several questions I had. I recommend Countryside Animal Hospital for your pets :)

When it comes to my dog, shes my world. I want her in the BEST care possible. I wish they were closer to me than they are. Im in Michigan so theyre about an hour and 15mins away. Shes had 2 surgeries on her back legs and the vet and staff were AMAZING!
I couldn't of ask for better care my little girl!
Dr. Pifer is one of the BEST Doctors ive met PERIOD! He takes the time to mess with the dog and examine them. Explain in stupid terms whats going on. VERY HONEST. If he doesnt know he'll say im not sure. I REALLY appreciate that. I don't need nor want someone GUESSING at whats going on.
