This is a family owned business started in 1978 by a woman and passed to her daughter who owns it now. How do I know this? Because as I was sorting out an issue where my order didn't get delivered to the room of a hospital, the owner told me the story while telling me how important it is to her to get flowers to patients in hospital after her mom passed. This is a company who cares about the person placing the order AND the one who is receiving the gift. Oh...and even though it wasn't their mistake, Jamie went in on her day off to redo the order for my loved one. That's customer service & a business owner who cares. Thank you, Country Florist!

They were amazing! I loved my wedding bouquet! She did an amazing job. She was so nice even after it was a last minute call.

Aside from the lady being extremely nice, and willing to work with me on delivery, the flowers that were presented to my friend were disappointing, very little flowers, little color, and the vase was a jar. This is what was presented. Not good. I paid close to $45 for this

I wanted to order flowers for Mothers day without going through the Telefloral/800Flowers/Flowers.com rackets where there is a bunch of overhead added to the price. My mother lives in Denison, and all the flower shops there have been taken over by one shop, who answers the phone "Flower Shop", no matter which number you call. I saw that Country delivered to Denison, so I called them. (I always try to give business to the small business when possible.) We chatted a bit, the lady confirmed what I knew about calling directly to avoid the overhead, and I ordered an arrangement. A few details about what my mother liked, and it was in their hands.

They delivered on the Thursday before Mothers day. My mother called me and was excited. This was not usual thank you call, she was thrilled with them. Fast forward, Tuesday the next week (9 day after Mothers Day). Most of the flowers were still fresh, some were starting to open, a few were getting old, but mom was still enjoying the arrangement. My sister's arrangement who came from someone else did not last as long, and they arrived after Thursday.

I did not see the one star reviews until I decided to write a review. I normally do not give 5 stars, but this time I am. Four stars for a business that does what it supposed to do, but the extra star is for a superior product that thrilled my mom.

I used country florist for my wedding and Paulette was absolutely amazing! She made the most beautiful arrangements for my centerpieces, bouquets and venue decor. She even framed the gazebo where the ceremony was held with this spectacular floral arch. Paulette also decorated the wedding cake with her flowers and went above and beyond by helping set up the ceremony chairs when we had a miscommunication with the venue. She helped to make it the most perfect day, and I will definitely be returning to Country Florist for anything else that I will need.

Trusted them for past two years via long distance orders. Last week I ordered a Birthday arrangement.
When the flowers were delivered the recipient thought she smelled paint. Sure enough some old flowers had been sprayed painted! I am not making this up. I would have never thought of that in the first place.
My lady took them back and they were replaced. How embarrassing!
I texted my displeasure and never received the courtesy of a reply.
Such a disappointment from a business I thought appreciated my patronage.

One of the rudest owners I've ever met. She acted like she didn't have time for us when picking out flowers for a funeral. She acted like her time was more valuable than ours and rushed us. Strongly recommend going to a different florist for any needs.

Florist provided flowers for a wedding this past weekend for which I used provided by the bride. She had stated that this florist wanted her to pick up her flowers by mid week for a weekend wedding. Should have flowers not arrive until Friday. By Friday the roses were already browning and wilting. When asked who provided flowers she wouldn't say but another attendant told us who it was. Highly disappointed, will not recommend.
