Having traveled the world many times over... I know that the world is full of flavors, and I want to taste them all when I eat... this place brings it.

All I can say is try it... My coworkers and I came for lunch today, and I just had the shrimp tacos with the jerk sauce and a side of seasoned plantains...

It literally blew my mind away. The flavors were so amazing. I have lived in NW Indiana for 12 years and have never really been blown away by anything I have eaten in this area. I am NOT a fried chicken tender and French fry girl. I don't know how long this place has been here... but I have been missing out.

As a self-declared and accused food snob, I love flavors, spices, herbs and hate...HATE ... dumbed down food that is designed to accommodate palettes that are as boring as the rainy day we are currently having. It may sound weird, but my lunch today moved me, inspired and woke me up to the possibilities of a flavor diamond hidden in plain sight in industrial mecha...

Do not miss out on this place... the friendly service and amazing food will have you coming back regularly with empty bellies, only to leave with a flavorful satisfaction that I can only describe as... much needed in a mondain part of NWI. - Dena

We had a friend visiting from out of town and came here for dinner.

The downside was we had to wait a while for a table, and the food was slow to come out. It was also a little expensive. However, there was a large meal presented and everything was very delicious!

I am usually not a big meat eater but couldn't resist trying oxtail. It was very soft and tender, with a lot of flavor, and very filling. My husband was very excited about his Mac and cheese but didn't think the pineapple bowl added much. Our friend ordered the chicken and said it was delicious, well cooked and flavorful.

We would come again but might order for carryaway next time.

I can't imagine eating a meal here and not being full! We got the beef patty, curry chicken, and stew chicken. Kids devoured the rice and beans like there was no tomorrow. The sauces are very flavorful, and the candied yams are VERY sweet. Service makes you feel right at home. For families with young kids, they have high chairs and changing tables!

This is definitely a in a city full of fast food and franchise restaurants. I'll be honest I was so happy to have found this place. It has that hole in the wall feel to it with some pretty decent reggae music playing while you wait for your food. I ended up ordering the jerk chicken plate which came with rice and peas and plantains. The jerk wings were
smokey and spicy absolutely delicious. The rice and peas were okay and the plantains were really good. Nothing but high praise for the food. As far as the service it was okay but definitely could have been better. Despite the service not being that great. I may end up visiting this place again before I leave the area to head back home. Just so I can take some of those jerk wings back with me home.

Great food. Nice service. Love the deck in the summer. Thinking about the blackened chicken wings is making my mouth water as I write this review....

After my sisters and I saw the name of this restaurant we knew we had to come!

"Cool Runnings" was one of our favorite movies as kids and we all like Jamaican food.

We decided on a meat pie, jerk chicken and curry chicken. The meat pie was great and the jerk chicken was the favorite over all! The curry chicken was good as well.

The portion sizes are large and definitely shareable.

Basically - The food is good. Service sucks. They added an extra $10 to my to go order without my authorization. Make sure you check your bill and credit card statement!

* We enjoyed the jerk chicken, reggae beef and cabbage, chicken wings, and brown stew chicken. I'm glad we tried the ackee, since it's their National dish. But the fam and I thought it was too salty with a flavor we didn't like.

* When we arrived to pick up our order to go, we weren't greeted and awkwardly stood by the side. It was actually a customer who told us to just wait and someone would come. When a staff member finally helped us she wasn't very friendly and kept us waiting without updating us with what's going on with our order.

***But the main thing that annoyed me was how they added $10 to my bill. What the?! I even tipped them, even though I shouldn't have bc the service was mehhhh. I found this out when I checked my credit card statement. When I called a couple times to talk to someone, I was put on hold both times and ended up hanging up bc I was waiting forevaaaaar! Luckily my cc company took care of it. I know $10 isn't a lot but still, can't be adding charges like that!

The environment is no frills but don't let that stop you. Great jerk and curries. Also, great prices on drinks

Good jerk food. Out of the way location near Blue Chip casino. Nice atmosphere with great food.

We love this place! We drive up from downtown Indy for this food. Every time we're in the area we stop to eat and get a plate to go. Our favorites are the oxtails, goat curry, and the jerk chicken. Definitely the best jerk and curry we've had since living in Indiana.
