Used to swear by this place but things have changed here. Everyone seems friendly and helpful but they really aren't.

I live in Southern California but work in Sacramento a lot. When my car got a small scratch on the bumper I wanted to get it fixed here since I had several good experiences here in the past. I called and explained I was going to be in town for 12 days and wanted to get my bumper repaired. We scheduled an appointment and I reserved a rental car.

Once I arrived I noticed the staff was all new people. The fellow that worked up the estimate seemed to have no interest in helping me get my car fixed. And even though I had an appointment he told me they were very busy and probably wouldn't be able to get to my car for several days. I explained I lived in LA and was only here for 12 days. He then told me, " why don't you just get your car fixed in LA then." I was really surprised. Such a change from what I was used to experiencing here.

Seems like this is now just an impersonal corporate chain that is only interested in easy insurance jobs on their schedule. This place used to provide 5 star customer service. Now it's just another random body shop.

I did end up taking his advice and getting my car fixed back at home. It was fixed in 5 days with no drama.

I've been in 3 accidents and have always chosen cooks for my repairs. But this location has been by far the nicest and Justin kept me in the loop of my repairs. If I ever get in another accident (hopefully not ) I would choose this location again . Thank you Justin for all

Last year I was in a fender bender that landed me at Cooks in Sacramento. My Kia Optima had a hefty amount of front end damage that affected multiple areas. Cooks had the car looking brand new within two weeks.

Shortly after driving the car on the freeway, I noticed a slight pull to the right when releasing my hands from the wheel. I called Cooks to share this and they advised that I wait a few days and see if the issue was still occurring, if so, to give them a call for checkup at no charge. Fast forward a few months when I was replacing the three other tires that weren't damaged at a Les Schwab in Rocklin. Upon inspection and testing, Les Schwab reported there was indeed alignment off on the car. It was the weekend and they were willing to fix it at a reduced cost so I had them move forward with the re-alignment.

That Monday I called Cooks to share the story and after sharing documentation of the re-alignment, they offered to provide me a Visa gift card for the work Les Schwab had done. I was set to pick the gift card up within a few days but had been called up to Seattle for business. Seattle turned into Southern California and after a couple months, Cooks called me. They wanted to ensure I received the compensation from the repair work and offered to mail my card to my new address.

I appreciate the follow-up customer service I had there and their willingness to make the repair sit well with their customer. When business is done this way it makes you want to come back, and I'm glad this Cooks still values that.

Considering that every customer is there involuntarily, the staff at Cook's Collision are cheerful, professional and make the process of getting your car back on the road again as painless as possible. I don't ever want to have to come back here, but if I do I know I'll be in good hands.

What I thought was initially a minor fender bender turned out to be a puncture in my radiator and a cracked bumper. Cooks was authorized through my insurance and there downtown location is close to me, so I figured they were as good as anyone. Let's just say they exceeded my expectations. The professional and communicative Marlene kept me in the loop with almost daily updates on my car's status, an in-person walk-through to make sure I approved of the repairs and they got it done earlier than expected. They even fixed a faulty door handle that ended up giving out on their watch and cleaned my car inside and out. I drove away with a vehicle that was better off than when I went in.

The whole process was a great experience considering the dire circumstances. A shout out to the lovely Adriana at the front desk for helping guide me in the right direction and greeting me with a smile!

Cook collision did a great job repairing my 2017 Lexus GS 350 F Sport. Took approx 2 weeks. My car looked like never been in an accident. Had experience with them a few years ago.

After my 2017 Subaru was damaged at a RV dealership I called the local Subaru dealer asking where they take their cars for repairs. They said cooks collision. After working with Justin I am satisfied with the work they did to make my car look like new again. I will recommend cooks to anyone looking for good quality repair.

Took my car in for an estimate on Tuesday and they scheduled me in for the following Monday. My car had some minor gouging on the bumper from someone hitting me. Cooks took care of everything from arranging my rental car and texts updates for the status of the repairs. Just picked my car up today and it looks beautiful! Can't say enough good things about them. Monica was extremely helpful and really nice to work with. The girl who answers the calls at the front desk was also very nice and friendly. Just an all around great experience from start to finish.

Came here for estimation. While showing the damages to the estimator, he abruptly said "I got it. You can wait inside." The estimation seemed too low for the damage so when I asked if it was for both damages, he started speaking to me and implied that I was lying about the second damage due to I didn't point it out while we were outside.

First of all, a**hole, you interrupted me and told me to go inside.

Secondly, had you read the request from the insurance company, you would've known that it was TWO damages.

Nice facility and everyone else seemed friendly but that estimator left very bad taste in my mouth.

This was a horrible and frustrating experience. I just feel robbed because paying a deductible of $1,000 and my insurance paying the rest of the work done for my car I would expect that the job is being done correctly.

My car was rear ended at a parking lot. The trunk had moved up along with the bumper and tail light. In front it also detached and damage to the front bumper.

I explained this but apparently the person responsible did not really consider the damages to the lower bumper of the rear and the front. Only submitted the other damages and the top front bumper. So as of right now visible damages exist on those areas.

They had my car for over a week and I got a called that my car was ready but it wasn't upon arriving. So I wasted time and gas to just be told it is still not ready. Person in charge told us he would wash the car and for not having the car ready he would clean the headlights and paint a few scratches on the vehicle per my request because he didn't really want to do that. The next day car was still not ready. Everything he said wasn't done on the car. Also the back taillight was loose. The car had screws not placed and missing on the front bumper . Car was not cleaned and he hands me the car markers for me to put on at home. Upon checking the other things I had to return for them to put the screws on and request they put the markers on car. The mechanic talked to me how he does not discriminate but it is obvious from commentary made yes they don't care about "regular cars". I do hope you do not discriminate that should not be thought of when you are responsible for the safety of people with their vehicles and the repairs you do.

I just feel upset and robbed like I could have had a better experience somewhere else with better work done on my vehicle not half done. My car like I said still has some visible damages and I feel that the trunk has space or a gap if you will that should have been aligned better.

Called them Friday afternoon and set up an appointment with someone over the phone to come in at 7:30 on Monday because I had a flight out of Sacramento. When I got in no one was here and when someone did arrive she went off about how she would've made an appointment with me at 7:30 because she couldn't be here. Unbelievably rude I got up and left.I always had a great experience at this place when it was his brothers. I'll never come back here again.
