Contemporary Catering

Don and Cheryl catered our wedding and rehearsal dinner and are just so good at what they do. I say "catering" but it was so much more than that. Just one example: our rentals vendor dropped off heaters with no fuel in them. We only realiezd this during the reception when people were starting to shiver. Don went back to his truck, found "spare" fuel and lit each heater. Saved the evening!

A few other observations: I've never dealt with a more straightforward, fair-minded vendor. Every charge, every element was clearly explained and fulfilled. The food itself was outstanding, as was Don's staff. To be completely honest, Don and Cheryl were a less expensive option (by far) than some of the other caterers we considered so we didn't expect the food to be a real highlight of our wedding. We were so pleasantly surprised when we tasted the food and received so many compliments regarding it. Steak, chicken, salad, vegetables, chocolate chip cookies - just wonderful stuff. The staff was also great - polite, capable, fun. They felt like guests!

I've never written a yelp review before but felt moved to in this case. Don and Cherly are committed to their clients and approach their work with a dedication to excellence and attention to detail that is truly remarkable. No pretention, no fuss just great food and service. My wife and I would recommend them for any event.

Don and Cheryl catered our black tie soirée. It was an absolute pleasure to work with them and their staff! Everyone from the wonderful bartender to each of the servers was so professional, friendly and attentive. The food was fabulous as was the service and they helped make the evening such a success! I would highly recommend them and will definitely call upon them again in the future!
