The first couple mitigation companies I worked with regarding my oven contained fire were not looking out for my best interest.

Then, along came Constructeam.

Trustworthy. Dependable. Supportive. Empathetic. Relationships. All these are synonymous with Constructeam.

The employees who work for this company are clearly not there to punch a time card. Every single employee I encountered, it was evident that they put their heart and souls into their jobs. Every one. They also treat you like a person, not just a case; they listen to your concerns and are truly empathetic.

JB was tenacious when it came to dealing with my insurance company for the estimate. He always had my best interest at heart. This was a HUGE relief knowing he was in my corner and would fight for what was best for me, not the insurance company.

JB and Ken both have an extremely calm demeanor, which is what is needed in high stress situations. Each of them would listen to me, even when I was very agitated, and respond with empathy, all the while educating me on that respective issue. Neither one of them, or anyone at the company, was ever combative, rude or defensive.

Gino is a sponge; he wants to learn as much as possible about the industry. He does a solid job of keeping the client front of mind, which includes showing how much he cares and wants the job done well and on-time. Gino is working on his communication skills and is learning there's no such thing as "over communicating."

Gino went out of his way to help me on several occasions; things that were a small "favor," and not part of the scope. He was always right there with a smile on his face and his sleeves rolled up, literally.

The structural team is hard-working and would always be willing to help me out. They, too, were very trustworthy and detail oriented, especially Mark.

It's obvious relationships are important for this family-run business, which spills over to the contractors they hire. The painter did an extraordinary job with painting the entire inside of my house. Talk about detail oriented! Sam, the flooring guy, was very meticulous and did a phenomenal job of lining up new wood floor to old wood floor, to make it seamless.

Constructeam stands behind their product. If there's an issue that's their fault, they will fix it, even if it costs them money. They want their customer to leave with a smile on their face.

After having worked together for over five months, I can say, with certainty, Constructeam was the best company for my job. I HIGHLY recommend contacting them if you ever have a fire, water or storm emergency at your house.

If you have AAA insurance, they tell you to use an approved vendor, and you find yourself backed into a corner with Construct Team....run away as fast as you can. Cipriano's are in the wrong business if they are unhappy with their pay rate of AAA. They complain that they don't get enough money to do a job and the repairs to your home suffer. Construct Team is only worried about their bottom line. Your home and repair will only suffer for an insurance claim. They cut corners to profit more. The paint work they do is college apartment level aestectics. I was sold a scope of work with a semi competent project manager. He then pawned the whole job off on a younger subordinate to deal with my mess. Nothing but regret and corrective work that I had to do myself.

I wrote a review about my experience in the summer of 2014 (The Great Flood). My experience at that time with this company was not a positive one. A lot of loss happened and I think post experience, I chalk it up to bad communication and maybe bad hires?

It's clear to me that this company cares about their work and in general has integrity. The owner reached out to me a couple times after the issue in 2014, but my mother was in the ICU and it was not a priority. Fast forward to 2016. One of ConstrucTeam's representatives contacted me in order to start the conversation again. I entertained it because I appreciated the tenacity of the company and it was clear that they wanted to make things right.

Joe and his team said they would do some attic mold remediation work and a dander house cleaning for free. There did end up being a charge for drywall, insulation and vents. It was more elaborate than what I'm describing. It was pretty pricey, but they were the only ones that had logical suggestions for the venting system as well as the mold remediation. I did my own research and talked to many professionals. Their proposal seemed right to me. Only time will tell.

I worked with two specialists, Ken (mold) and Matt (construction). Both were communicative and answered all of my questions. I tend to have a lot of questions (because I like to educate myself) and also I was a little skeptical that they were doing the job I was paying for and also the work they were providing for free. They really seemed solid from start to finish. They all came to the house to assess the situation, walked me through it, and also met me at a coffee shoppe in order to further discuss my inquiries. To me, that goes above and beyond any company that I have been in contact with. They continued to update me and answer my questions through the 4 weeks we worked together.

I really have to highlight Ken in this review. I would 100% work with him again. He was super communicative, giving me updates every day that included photos. He answered all of my questions and walked me around the property to show me some things I should look out for (these had nothing to do with the job his team performed). It was just a nicety. When I asked for an encapsulate to be put on the attic wood because this was something another representative said was part of their protocol he did it without complaint, even though it wasn't in his proposal. He also had his team clean the refrigerator and take out the carpet that I was going to pay someone else to do. He was super easy to work with and also extremely knowledgeable. Basically, five star customer service and he does it with a smile. Joe is lucky to have him on his team.

Matt was more of a no nonsense type of guy, but was knowledgeable about his craft. I noticed some errors in the drywall work and he had his team come out to fix it. It was done before I even knew it was and he came to do a walk through with me after. I appreciate that when there are issues they come, assess, fix, and walk through with their clients. They also educate. What I liked about Matt was his explanations of how things worked. He was good about educating.

ConstrucTeam standardly cleans out the ducts and they seem to follow a protocol and system when they do their work with clean up and a code that their team follows on the job. Systems and standards and adherence to them are what is going to keep this company in business. I wish I would have saw this in my first go around with this company, but I am happy to see it now.

As a side, I am not sure drywall of the entire bungalow was necessary... since I didn't photos of mold on the actual drywall, but it looks good nonetheless.

The issues in 2014 were not about the work. I think they did a good job with clean-up and making sure that the basement was sanitized. The issue was with bad communication on their team leaders part. He didn't relay the multiple conversations we had with his team and as a result I lost some items. I also think they hire 'some' inexperienced labor, which is fine, but know that they will need to be actively monitored and understand the systems and protocols set forth by the company. I know when I was a teenager/early 20s I was not taking pride in the 'just for now' job.

Based on my experience with this company this time around I would totally recommend them. I hope they provide this type of excellence on all of their jobs. I respect that they wanted to make things right and really get a good sense that Joe Cipriano wants to make sure his team follows the ConstrucTeam's codes and protocols so his business can thrive, but also because it's just the right thing to do. I will update on the mold situation and vents in 2017 when I have more time to see if their work proves to be correct. Stay tuned.

Most restoration company's are awful in nature, I've been subcontracted by them a few times and they are better then average, subs are hit or miss some are good and some aren't but the in house employees are generally inexperienced, they value money and getting a project done instead of quality workmanship, you couldn't definitely do much worse though.

I reached out to ConstrucTeam to help in selecting, and installing the replacement marble sill and bathroom tile frame along with new windows. Saint Clair Shores homes were all built in the late 40's and early 50's and the original windows were a torturous aluminum frame and poor insulation.

Andy came out and did a quick non-intrusive job of assessing and measuring the three replacement windows, and then within four days had the installers out with all the supplies and tools ready to go. Within 4 hours we had our situation turned around and completed. They not only met, but exceeded my expectations of performing this task.

I am considering a couple more jobs related to replacing the primary doors of the house and will be calling them first to get the job handled!

The team made sure we were 100% informed on the processes they were doing and that I was comfortable before moving on. Quick, efficient, and out in no time. CLEANED everything on their way out, even things they didn't touch :)

Having a sewage backup in the basement is not a pleasant experience. We lost many things that we loved, not to mention the retched smell. The Constructeam made us feel comfortable from the moment their rep came to give us an estimate. They were able to get a team out to us within 48 hours and they were done with the work in a day (plus drying time). They made an unpleasant experience bearable. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had a mudroom put on my house by Constructeam and loved everything about it! Not only is the quality of work top notch but the whole process was very fluent. I expressed what I wanted and was able to collaborate with Matthew Erndt on the design and functionality of the room. He was very helpful and very professional. I had all my questions answered and was kept very informed on the happenings of the rooms progress.

I feel that if there is very clear and open communication that any project will come out with a great, personalize product. It is super important to make sure that anytime you have a question, it must be asked. I am not a person that sits around waiting for answers or someone to call me. I never felt that I had to approach the company to much with questions, they were very organized with a schedule to follow. As the home owner its important to be helpful in the process and understand that some flexibility is needed at times.

I have met the owners of the company and they are not only running a fantastic company with great employees, the owners really do care about each and every project. They are a very great company to work with and I would do it again with out having to think about it.

Keep up the great work! My friends, family and neighbors are very envious of my beautiful space! I always pass on your number.

Hiring this company quickly gave me piece of mind that all would be handled appropriately. I had a large flood at my hotel that caused over $250,000 damage and created large potential for liability. When we called Constructeam we were immediately connected with Joe Cipriano the owner of the company. Within minutes he calmed me down and explained what had to happen next. They were onsite shortly after and their lead responder, Mike Overholser walked me through the entire process and explained in great detail everything they were doing and why it was important and I immediately was feeling comfortable that I made the right choice.
