I am surprised about the positive reviews, maybe the people that loved this place so much went before it became a big scam. I bought a groupon for 2 massages for me and my husband in November. I called to make an app and a very rude receptionist told me that they are booked until end of January, which is 2 month in advance. Ok, as much as i don't want to wait 2 months, i let her book 2 massages. I got an email confirmation (which is always nice). One week before the appointment, I noticed on the email confirmation that it only says one massage, so I called the place to clarify.
Not only did the receptionist lie to me by saying she does not even have the app, she went on to say that they are closed on that day. I told her I have an email confirmation, to which she replied that it must have been a mistake and the next available app is in march.

I am not interested at all in going anywhere near this place, and I would not recommend it to anyone. I am currently waiting for a refund.

Got the groupon deal and was really hopeful about it since I had seen a number of positive reviews from users who had gotten a groupon. So hopeful was I that I even bought a voucher as a GIFT.

First of all -- the "60 minutes" of the massage start the moment you enter the office. So, don't dilly-dally talking to the receptionist, and DON'T let them convince you to get the chiropractic adjustment first -- that all eats into your massage time. I ended up getting maybe 40 minutes.

For that 40 minutes, I was completely unimpressed. The massage was done by a male therapist (I can't remember his name), and was mostly like having someone's friend who had no idea what they were doing prod your muscles for a while. He ~seemed~ to sound like he knew what he was doing, chatting the whole time, telling me about his training and asking me personal questions (which I wasn't so into either).

The chiropractor was brusque and did a quick pop-pop and I was out the door in under three minutes. I know that this is not abnormal, but it would be nice to be treated a little less assembly line.

Rude and unprofessional all the way around. I was asked to wait a month just to get an appointment. 2 weeks into the month, I got a call saying that they accidentally booked me on a day they couldn't take me.

They then asked me to push my reservation out by another 3 weeks. Are you f&#*@#! kidding me!? Some birthday gift to myself this turned out to be.

So I read all of these reviews after I bought my groupon. It had me a bit worried at first but thought to go anyway. This place was great for my first experience. I didn't have trouble scheduling. It was simple and fast. You definitely move in and out quickly with the adjustment but it's still solid adjustment. Today I had my first massage. I have a lot of knots and the massage therapist new what he was doing. It was cold in there tho. One thing-The office has a strong air freshener spray, I like it but I could see it bothering someone who is sensitive to smells.

Overall enjoy my time here.

I wish I had gotten the Massage Therapist's name because I wanted to give her a shout-out! Definitely the best massage I have ever had. She was very friendly, informative, and I felt completely comfortable with her.

Don't quote me, but I think this is a fairly new practice because they're using Groupon to gain new patients (Which was a genius idea). It's a fantastic deal. The entire staff of CH&B is very courteous, attentive, and warm. The massage was fan-friggen-tastic, The chiropractor immediately discovered and adjusted my issues, then I received a painless electrotherapy to protect the problem areas from becoming unaligned again, and THEN I got to lay on an amazing massage/heat treatment table! The Groupon deal that I had payed for also covered a follow-up visit next week just to make sure that everything is still aligned =) I'm a happy guy.

One of the best deals I have gotten through Groupon.

Although the massage room is private, the treatment room is shared. I was okay with that since your are fully dressed and I was alone in the room for most of the time.
Very noisy air conditioner in the massage room (though that is better than being too hot)
Ths is a tremendous Groupon value for the money, hence the 5 stars.The pros far outweighed the cons. So far I have had the massage and one therapeutic treatment (deal is for 4). Can't wait to return.

I went yesterday for a 30 min massage and chiropractic adjustment (utilizing a groupon). Amazing! This is an easy location to get to (close by Grand Central). At first when I walked into the office, I wasn't very impressed with the decor of the place. However, the service and experience definitely made up for that.

Dr. Vito is very experienced and knowledgeable in this field. He did my adjustment so quickly and effortlessly, knowing exactly the right points to target. It didn't hurt! It's hard to find someone to trust especially with cracking your spinal joints. He did a great job. My masseuse, Sharon, was also great. She asked where I had the most pain or where I wanted her to focus on. The massage was very relaxing -- definitely too short!

I am not sure what the actualy services cost at regular price, but I would come back if there is another groupon deal.

Bought a Groupon offer: 39 bucks for a full body massage and 2 chiropractic adjustments. AMAZING DEAL!! The massage alone is more than worth it! I experienced my first of 2 appts yesterday - it was heaven!!!

I went into this experience knowing there would be a wait - considering the Groupon deal and their office hours. I scheduled the appt approx 6 weeks in advance - the week before my appt. I recieved an email reminder.

The office itself is quaint and clean with a nice waiting area - though I didn't have to wait long. My massage was first - possibly the best massage I've had. Susan (I think) was thorough, accommodating and so knowledgable. I left the session with a better understanding of my body and tips to improve circulation, sleep and muscle fatigue. She was very attentive to adjust her hand pressure to my body responses. At the end I wasn't oily or splotchy. I felt great - relaxed, but refreshed - and no soreness!

Back in the waiting room, a few short minutes wait and adjustment was next. THIs was my 1st adjustment and I was a bit nervous not knowing what to expect. THe doctor was very friendly and knowledgable. We had a short consultation where he explained the purpose of adjustments and how it will affect me personally. I headed into the procedure room feeling excited. The adjustment itself took less than 5 minutes - though it was 5 of the most satisfying minutes of my life!! After, the doctor put these strange muscle probes on an identified trouble area - it felt weird but effective. And finally to the rolling bed of awesomeness - a bed with a rolling massage function.

As much as I enjoyed the adjustment and massaging bed, it was difficult to fully relax. The chiropractic procedure room was very bright and had an open plan, so there would be more than one patient in different phases of treatment. I think a dimmer switch and a few appropriately placed room dividers could do wonders!

At the end, there were no hidden taxes or fees to pay. It was easy to schedule my next appointment. I had such an enjoyable experience that I purchased another deal and recommended it to friends. I'll continue to update this review after future visits.

I travelled an hour to get here on my only day off and they cancelled my appointment 15min before my session started. The doctor is lazy and doesn't communicate at all.

Avoid at all costs

Excellent services! I took advantage of a groupon deal here and I am definitely going back. I told Dr. Vito that I have been having problems with my upper back with a pinching nerve sensation that has been bothering me for several years.

A week later that same pain that has been nagging me for years is gone now! The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was relaxing enough and overall a great experience.
