College Muscle Movers

I have now used College Muscle Movers twice and have been very happy with them both times.

Movers were super fast and careful. They were also very reasonably priced- both times they quoted me higher than I ended up paying.

My second move had to be re-scheduled 4 times because I had closing problems. They were happy to accommodate a schedule change without any added fees. They couldn't have done anything to make me happier with their services.

HIGHLY recommended!

It has been such a pleasure to work with College Muscle Movers on 3 occasions. Managing a move has many parts, but great partners in moving and restaging is key to making it less stressful. Caleb and Charlie were professional, timely, courteous and worked hard to make our move as seamless as possible. No fuss. Can't say enough about the positive experience. Thank you. Update: Ok... the response is a JOKE. I know everyone is human, but they didn't even act like that cared about my things or the problems they caused. The photos speak for themselves. Do not be fooled by the response. Guy is a liar and anyone that would scam an 85 year old couple should not be trusted. No ethics. Just a bully and disrespectful.

If I could do less than 1 star I would. Very unprofessional and rude and disrespectful . Took them 8 hours to do a job they estimated would take 3 hours and charged me for that which we paid them for. The truck they brought was too small because they didn't come out and look at what we had before hand. So to avoid taking two trips our furniture was shoved into this small truck. They cracked a dining chair in half literally, scratched my very expensive hutch, and my white sofa wasn't even wrapped and now it has black marks all over it.

And the insurance policy they sold us covers none of the items but why would they tell me that. It was useless. Just a JOKE.

They went in my fridge looking for water which was beyond invasive and just strange.

Manager doesn't want to listen to the paying customer and cuts you off mid sentence to recite his speech that's written for him. So rude and frankly a bully.

They don't care at all. Beware don't use them if you want an easy and seamless move. Moving is stressful enough as it is and they make it worse.

Everything went so smoothly as far as scheduling, and I feel like College Muscle Movers has a flexible reschedule policy in case something comes up. I appreciated that as the deposit is pretty hefty.

The crew that helped us move was FANTASTIC. I can't believe how professional and hard working these young men were. They worked their absolute butts off and we would not have been able to move without them. Very minimal damage to a couple items, but that's expected when moving and there likely would have been even more damage had we moved the items ourselves. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend College Muscle Movers to everyone!

Scheduled a cross-country move with them and it was difficult every step of the way. College Muscle Movers staff dropped a box in front of me and broke items, then broke a table in front of me. I do not know what happened when I wasn't looking. They only sent 1 man to move a 2-story, 3-bedroom, 2-bath house. The other person placed stickers on each box/item and wrote each item down on pieces of paper. It was the least efficient process that can exist. They do not have software to aid this process nor do they have tracking or any other way to be accountable or even accurate with your items.

They contract with National Van Lines who was 3 weeks late with my shipment, could never tell me where the truck was (not once), and ended up sub-contracting at least 2 or 3 other moving companies. It was never communicated that all of my possessions would exchange hands in multiple states with multiple companies.

My items arrived damaged, from a butcher block island, to lamp shades, to glasses within the boxes. Everything that could be damaged seemed to be.

I worked with Jason as a moving consultant who was misinformed, provided conflicting information from Natl Van Lines, and did not educate on the process.

Cam/Cammy and a mover came over. Cam painstakingly placed stickers on each box while one man moved 98% of all items in my house. This is, in effect, only sending one person out to move a house full of items. Terribly inefficient. And again, the man doing all of the literal heavy lifting dropped a box in front of me with glass items in it, and dropped a table and broke a part of it. The other moving companies managed to damage just about everything else. Awful.

Highly disappointing and discouraging experience.

We use services from College Muscle Movers and KeepsakePackaging services. Jason did a wonderful job of coordinating the teams and keeping us informed. Everyone, Grace, Ruth, TyReese And Alex were very professional, friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend their services.

Super nice crew, and Im happy to help students, but: Ive used them twice successfully and once very unsuccessfully. They packed a pod for a move and were slow and careless. A very expensive furniture piece was left unwrapped and padded and got a huge scratch in it when they carelessly chucked it loose into a container with a metal object. They also dropped and broke a glass TV stand. The contents were very loose, items slid despite them asking me for tons of ratchet straps which they then chose not to use. I'm not sure who is training them but I could have picked any three random people off the street and they likely would have done a better job. Their review says that they don't take claims & aren't responsible for loading containers, fine ... but the work was still careless - despite me providing all the blankets, straps, etc that they asked fo And it's simply not true that containers don't have tie downs. The brand I selected includes lashing points throughout the container. I bought 12 straps and they used 4. I bought extra blankets throughout the day as they needed them and they still managed to scratch & break stuff.

Never and I mean NEVER use College Muscle Movers for ANY of your services! They broke my $800 dining room table and my $500 coffee table and are refusing to pay for any damages, even though I had insurance to protect my belongings! One mover pooped in my bathroom and left stain all over the toilet seat and stains inside the toilet. I had an appointment with them today to look at the damages they caused, they never showed up and they never even called to tell me they weren't coming. Now they are saying they can't help me any further because I was cussing. The level of disrespect I feel right now is unbelievable! Absolutely sick to my stomach.

Update: Dan (the service manager) told me that the movers swore up and down that they were both carrying the dining room table at each end and that they were properly carrying the table and that it was not their fault that the table broke. Unfortunately for them, I have video footage proving this was a lie. Attached are screenshots of how they were REALLY carrying the table. You tell me if this is how you properly carry a table and tell me if you see two movers carrying each end of the table legs.

Dan told me to make a claim but that the claim would go back to him and he will deny it.

This company will lie through their teeth about how they broke your furniture and will gaslight you and make you feel like you were in the wrong if they break something.

Update to Morgan's response: as you can see, all this company does is gaslight you. Thank you, Morgan, for proving my point on why this company is the worst company to hire.

Professional from start to finish! Two polite and motivated guys wrapped my furniture and loaded everything up with care. Placed each item in the appropriate space in my new home, ensuring everything made it without damage. I would not hesitate to use College Muscle Movers again.

I used College Muscle Movers in 2019, had an amazing experience. When I moved in 2021 I requested a quote to find they TRIPLED prices lol! Like I get it, inflation is alive an real but tripling your prices.. pass

Regarding the business owners response. Instead of acknowledging a customers try and honest review of their pricing, they've chose to label this review as "designed to cast false allegations" LOL

We had such a positive experience with CMM and will definitely use them again! The movers were so friendly, efficient and accommodating. Highly recommend!
