Wow, wow, wow.... Hands down one of the best accidental restaurants I've stumbled upon! I honestly didn't even look at the reviews before going and after sitting down I knew it was fate that brought my appetite there.
This place is tucked in a shopping center off Iliff and Parker and met some friends for dinner after one said she wanted Italian food and suggested the spot. The ambience is cozy and inviting and the service is what makes it that much better.
We chose a few apps off the menu and then asked for a recommendation for a bottle of wine to share - bonus: 1/2 price Wine Wednesdays! - and it was on point! I can't believe I forgot to take a picture but I'm sure it's a red wine that most every client has enjoyed!
Since everything is made from scratch, you may wait a little longer but not to worry... the fresh homemade bread the guys bring to the table quite possibly might be the best I've ever had. It's so light and crispy with a buttery flavor that melts in your mouth and it's not what you are expecting. Paired with the oil and balsamic dipping sauce it's sooooo good!
I ordered the fish and chips and the batter was perfection with a side of coleslaw that was extremely flavorful and some homemade fries. My friend ordered the salmon salad and the portion was huge and had so many fresh flavors that the combination was described as an explosion in her mouth. The other couple shared the seafood linguine and couldn't get enough of the sauce and flavor. We were more than satisfied and full by the time we left and can't wait to go back!
Cheers. Thanks guys for making our first visit amazing!!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 10130176Sep 9, 2021
Much love to the Cody's / Bettola duo. Special thank you to Josh, our fantastic server w the best suggestions & Schaefer, the iconic sommelier.
(If you're not up to speed yet, Cody's & Bettola have combined at Cody's & serve both menus!!)
We opted to sit outside after a long day of work - love the atmosphere. Sounds of water streaming and smells of beautiful flowers. Perfect.
We ordered from the Bettola menu last night && enjoyed a bottle of Riesling - Wine Wednesday friends, don't miss out!! (:
To start off, we had the brussel sprouts - 11/10 a crispy, delicious flavorbomb.
I ordered the rigatoni & bae ordered the scallops. SOOO FLAVORFUL. ugh. I brought leftovers home to eat later, but tbh .. they didn't last long! So yummy.
We ended the night with a layered honey cake that tastes like .. angels and all things good and whole in the world. I don't know how else to explain it!
Truly though .. Josh was fantastic - he was very attentive and literally gave us the best foodie recommendations. Schaefer filled us in on our choice of wine and was just all around great to connect with.
Thank you again for an amazing wine&dine evening.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Jeffrey K.Lincoln Park, Denver, CO910May 27, 2023
This pace is a hidden gem that is not all what it seems from the outside. They use vegetables and herbs for their own garden and have a great wine selection. The food is great, but it is a very small menu and restaurant. Make reservations and plan to spend a couple hundred on a meal for two with wine.

Seriously love this place. I'm from LA and visiting but they are so hospitable here. Have my kid bread and he's
Allergic to nuts so they fried the Asian spring roll
again separately voluntarily. The Italian place said they were full even though there open tables. glad we bailed on that place. This place is an Italian Asian fusion and it works well. Good value and well executed.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

I used to LOVE THIS PLACE. Food is still good. That is IF you want it bad enough to put up with the EXTREMELY rude manager. I was not.
I actually tried several times to contact owner before writing this review with no luck.
I went in on April 28th day before my surgery. I wanted something really good for my last real food. I had my dog with me who is a registered service dog, I showed the card to manager. A thin rude man mid twenties. He told me it didn't matter that even service dogs weren't allowed.I tried to reason with him but he was so RUDE I left.
I went back in October 16th to give another try. Same rude TOTALLY UNREASONABLE person there who said EXACTLY the same thing to me as my prior visit,
I used to own a restaurant this person would be SO GONE !
I WILL NEVER SET FOOT in Cody's again nor the other restaurant they own at end of strip mall. I don't think I've EVER encountered such a rude, unreasonable
person in the restaurant business!
Cody's should be ashamed. I had been a very regular customer since their opening.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jul 20, 2013Previous reviewWhat a nice find! I am from the Chicago area, the Italian food there is fabulous ! I have been trying to find some out here that wasn't "mass produced" and too pricey. This place is it.
Mom and pop type place, excellent food, descent prices, more interesting menu , and better service than ALL of the " top!" places in the rea.
Will certainly be back! - Jaime M.Orlando, FL22843Dec 30, 2021
Dropped by this restaurant after landing in Denver. We were definitely in for a treat. Italian food with an Asian twist. Josh the bartender/waiter was so nice and attentive. We got the lemongrass penne, brussel sprouts, rigatoni and it was allllll delicious! The fresh baked bread was so perfect and the wine selection is amazing. Definitely don't want to miss out on this place. They currently merged with Cody's next door. So the food was from Both menus. Incredible! Chef Sue is killing it! We love you and will definitely be back for more!

Post COVID/Dining 7.9.2021 The dining room is NOW OPEN! They also have a lovely patio option with a water feature and LOVELY FRESH flowers. It was so nice to enjoy a great meal and sit down and dine! We enjoyed the Friday busy in the restaurant with two servers running around, lots of guest chatting and enjoying their meals with loved ones. It was nice to see friends catching up, date nights, girls night wine happy hour and large parties ending the work week at Cody's. It felt great to enjoy a meal not in a take out box and enjoy some good pasta by candlelight. I enjoyed a Misto Salad, Clams Linguine and the Matcha Key Lime Pie. All a must order. There were a couple clams with a sand crunch but the noodles and ambiance of the restaurant were fantastic! The sauce was yummy!!! The linguine noodles were Aldente and perfect! I enjoyed the warm bread with the clam sauce and the fresh herbs in every bite. The two servers were outstanding and worked so hard running around a busy and FULL restaurant. I was so grateful for a nice meal and enjoyed the experience! They have a great wine selection and change up the menu seasonally. I'll be back soon!
Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Nov 4, 2016Previous reviewDined here a handful of times and really enjoyed every meal. I've been here for HH, lunch and dinner dates. It's tucked away in a strip mall and near an African market. It's a Italian-fusion menu won't salads, pizzas and mostly pasta. Last night I came in with two girlfriends a little later, around 815p, and the staff was very accommodating. We felt bad knowing that they closed soon. We checked in on Yelp and used the free app with a check in. We ordered the spinach and cheese won tons. One friend can't eat shellfish and the other is mostly a vegetarian. There are lots of other apps but most have shellfish or meat. It was delicious! I could probably eat all 4-5 by myself. For dinner we ordered the salmon salad and salmon pesto with angel hair pasta. We were all impressed and enjoyed it very much! The salad had a perfect balance of sweet and salty with the nuts, fruits and feta. The salmon was cooked perfectly and I would definitely order it again! I did take a bite of the pasta and loved the pesto and garlic! We wanted to order dessert but of course it was a little late and an after thought so at 910p we tried to order Creme brûlées and the kitchen was closed at 9p. It was more of a reason for us to come back thank you!!

This unassuming little restaurant packs a punch when it comes to flavor and unique dishes. A mixture of Vietnamese and Italian the menu boasts pastas with an Asian twist. The wine selection here is one of the best in the community and has weekly wine tastings and lessons with the som Schaffer. If you are in the area or want to go to a cute little neighborhood spot with a slightly upscale vibe, this is your pick.

One of the best meals I have ever had in my life. The food was so fresh and veggies are grown in their garden.
Fish was flown in that same day, so fresh!!
They have a great selection of wines, service was on point and we ate so much that by the end we were ready to roll on our belly's :)Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Where to begin. This place is fantastic. The atmosphere is nice, leaning towards elegant. The service was exceptional. They were very attentive and friendly and provided some great suggestions. The food was spectacular. We (there was three of us) had some appetizers, soup, entrees, a few drinks, and all four desserts. Absolutely not a single complaint about any of it. I really don't think you could make a bad choice here. Highly recommended. I can't wait to go back.
