Do NOT use this company. They have VERY deceptive practices, and of course the tech that clean my vents no longer works there. On my contact it indicates "AIR DUCT CLEANING - 1 YEAR - 2 YEARS- 3 YEARS, which I believed that I had purchased a plan that would clean of the vents for 3 years. Now, I do need to mention that on the very far side of this cleaning contract plan that I purchased it has "warranty", which I believe any intelligent person would assume it was the cleaning contract, which I asked the tech numerous times "does this mean that your company will come once a year for the next 2 years and clean the vents right?" which they said yes.
After speaking with Joe Polak the owner apparently this is only a warranty, WOW WAS I SCAMMED. So for $1730.91 I got 2 UV lights and my ducts cleaned. Joe was very rude and keep talking over me and saying that the tech no longer worked there so he could not ask them about the situation. My next step is with BBB on their deceptive pacto=ices regarding the contact.

Pros: Professional crew presenting with the appropriate tools and skill sets. Crews are neat, clean, and responsive. The owner is knowledgeable and informative.
Cons: Like any business, they're very busy. The owner oversees most details and there might be some lag in communication between office and work site. As with any contractor working at your home, watch for small things such as nails or screws they might have overlooked.
In July we decided to upgrade our HVAC system (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning). We researched the appliance, then we sought out several contractors and got bids. While Clean Air America was not the lowest bid, they were a good match for us for other factors such as financing, warranty, and scheduling. A look at their Facebook will give you an idea of their range and services. They performed and delivered in each consideration as expected and better. We were notified about the one mistake they did make and it was corrected immediately.
In conclusion, overall, our experience with Clean Air America was positive. Our new AC is up and running and our home is cooler and much less humid. Early indications suggest my electric bill will be much less this month. I recommend Clean Air America and would use them again.

Normally I'm skeptical about companies who advertise through Valpac, but I just bought a house with a very old A/C system and (admittedly) needed a place who was having a deal. Very glad I called CleanAir America on this.
The technician showed up in the planned time slot (which is more than I can say for other contractors), and he came to check out my A/C and perform repairs based on a recent inspection report I got done. I know nothing about A/C units (couldn't tell you what a condenser is), but the tech and his supervisor who also showed up were very helpful in answering my questions.
What I found best was that there ended up being nothing wrong with my A/C unit like I had previously thought, and so they didn't charge me and arm and a leg for showing up/not doing any work. While he was there, they did an inspection which typically costs around $40. Well, I was skeptical to contact another duct cleaning company after getting an invoice for $800 to deal with mold. Mr. Estovan came out and walked me through recommendations on my unit in the attic. Just moved into new house needing some work and let me tell you, it's is hard to find good people not trying to take advantage of you. Estovan is a good guy. Gave me great quote showed me what steps I can take for maintenance of unit. Can't say enough good things about him; he restored my faith about people that really do care about the work they do verses the profits they bring in. Do not doubt the legitimacy of my post, I was just like you looking to find somebody who knows their stuff and will shoot me straight. ESTOVAN WITH CLEAN AMERICA IS THAT GUY. Call em up, have em come out and see for yourself.

I just wanted to let you all know the honest truth, PLEASE DO NOT fall into their $59.00 special. after their technician reached my house they went around and only god knows what they checked, they came back after 10-15 minutes and scared me to death about mold, dirt, dusts, odors, bla bla bla.. came back with a quote for $700. Stupid me fell for it and got it done anyways and after they left I find out there were some vents they left untouched. (by the way some other sites rates them all 5 stars but those reviews are left by their own people.)
It wont end there, their ad says they are insured but one of their technician went up to my attic and stepped on my ceiling and punch a hole on my drywall and it cost me $200 to fix it.
I called them back to report the incident:
day 1 I call them and the person answered the phone told me
"we take your complain very seriously and I will talk to the owner and give you a call back later today."
no one ever called back so day 2 i called them and they said the same thing as day 1, but no one still didn't call me back.
day 3 i didn't get a chance to call them.
day 4 they told me same thing as day 1 but no one still called me back.
day 5 i called them and and I get this " I'm sorry, unfortunately we won't be able to do anything for your damage, we asked our technicians about the incident and they don't recall anything."

We have used Clean air America now in all our homes!! We had a few lease homes and our new home where we purchased ac units, cleaned ducts and needed mold remedy system for one. They are amazing, honest, and priced competitively. The owner and staff are very prompt and knowledgeable!! They are great!

I was 8 months pregnant and had just moved into a new home that we found had mold. They were able to fix the situation and were so great. They were prompt, fast and totally walked us through the process. They even cleaned our carpets, within 2 days I noticed a complet difference in my sinuses. They are awesome!!

Do not use this company! They have horrible customer service. They will give you the run around and lie to you to make you think they will come fix your problem but they will not. When I called them they said they would come out the same day. They never showed up after I had waited for 2 hours. When I called them back they said they made a scheduling mistake and were not able to send anyone out. They said they would come out first thing next day. The next day the tech never showed up until 6:15pm. And when he arrived he said he could not fix the problem because he did not bring the correct tools. Again he said he would be out the next morning. Of course he never showed up. When I called to speak to the manager (Joe) his response was for me to call someone else. I wish I would have never called this company. I would have had less headache and my problem resolved faster had I gone with someone else. Thankfully I found another company to come out and resolve my issue. So save yourself the headache and do not use this company!
