Clam Lake Beer

This place is incredible. The burgers are always cooked exactly how you want them and full of flavor. The sweet potato fries are steamy and slightly crispy while also being soft to bite into. You can watch them make the drinks for you, and they always do an amazing job.

But what about the service? The staff are so friendly and welcoming, they never cease to have a smile on their face no matter how busy they are and I really feel they are working as fast as they can.

But, if you don't like a packed dining experience avoid this place on the weekend. It's a popular establishment, expect to wait up to 45 minutes for a table on the weekend especially close to the holidays. During the week though everything is relatively calm and not so loud. They have pictures of the pubs history strewn about and some nice sized televisions always playing sports (it's a sports bar after all).

Overall whether you're there for the food, the alcohol or to socialize you can expect to have a good experience. I really love this place and they definitely deserve 5 stars

The absolute best clam chowder I've ever eaten was served here at Clam Lake Beer. If you get only one thing at this Cadillac restaurant, get the clam chowder. It's creamy and briny, the clams are copious and the potatoes are perfectly bite-sized and tender. The chowder is served with a small crostini, and you'll be glad because you can use that little piece of toasted bread to sop up every last bit in your bowl.

If you get two things here, you should definitely get a beer. They have a huge selection of house beers and beers on tap. It takes up one whole side of an 8.5x11 paper menu. On the other side of the menu is their bottle beer list, wine list and cocktail menu.

So, we've established that you are going to want to order based on the name of this restaurant (Clam Lake Beer ... get the clam chowder and beer). However, I also liked my Caesar salad, and they have a good kids' menu, too. One of my kids got mac & cheese (it looked like the kind from the blue box, which my kid appreciated), and the other child got a burger and house-made chips.

This place is very popular and gets busy! There are lots of tables, though, with many different seating options, including high-top tables, regular tables and bar seating.

They have a restroom on the main level, but FYI: If that one is occupied, there's another restroom downstairs!

Everything was great. All the above was great. We had appetizers. The meatballs were amazing!! We could only eat one and it comes with three. I took the others to work and they were still delicious. Friendly staff and warm atmosphere. Highly recommend. I tried the honey orange beer and it was super! My cousin had a Bloody Mary and she loved it. Highly recommend. Thank you for an enjoyable time.

Initially walked in thinking we would just get a drink so we took a seat at the bar, despite being really busy the bar tender greeted us immediately. As I was looking over the drink menu the bar tender made this delicious looking coffee cocktail as soon as I seen her put homemade whip cream on top, I knew that was the drink I was ordering, and it did not disappoint! Highly recommend ordering this drink, but don't let the glass fool you, it's actually served hot, but it was a cold snowy day so I didn't mind. I also ended up getting a bowl of clam chowder it was a perfect combo, I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of clams in the chowder. Definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area. They have a pretty big menu and all the food I saw being served looked really tasty.

We stoped in for my sons birthday. The Chicken dill pizza makes the most epic farts !! It was soooooooo Farttastic

Stopped in during a day trip to Cadillac, the food was great! The beer selection was endless and the service was awesome. They are right on the water and in the middle of downtown, great location!

We were driving from Indy to Petoskey and I turned to Yelp to find a cute lunch spot on the way. Clam Lake Beer had amazing reviews and a great menu, so we pulled off the highway and found free parking at a lot down the road. We walked over and enjoyed the cute little Cadillac downtown.

The avocado salad was pretty good and had a house pesto ranch dressing. Creative and delicious. My husband had a delicious sandwich and so did my mother-in-law. The pizzas next to us looked delicious, so we'll definitely order those next time.

It was busy inside and seemed like a super popular spot! Check them out!

Great service and great food! The Brussel sprouts and steak bites are both amazing as well as their burgers. Cocktails are also reasonably priced and strong!

Clam Lake Beer was a great choice to go to for dinner. Huge variety of food, fabulous service and a quite interesting list of beer. I wish we could have stayed longer and try more of them.
My new favorite is the Short's Psychedelic Cat Grass IPA. Had to try it just because of the name and it is really yummy. This goes along well with the fresh made pizza.
The service is very customer oriented and frinedly. Right on spot, always at the table at the right time.
Highly recommended address for a visit.
