A Chipotle review because why not? Most people are inclined to write about their negative experiences rather than positive experiences at a fast food place, but honestly the past year this Chipotle in Millbrae/Burlingame has been pretty solid.
The service from everyone there is pretty friendly and patient. Of course there is often turnover with staff so this might not apply years later, but I never had any issue with the quality of the food or the customer service at this location. I can tell they have gotten good training at least. They're very efficient and don't skimp out on the portions in my experiences. The barbacoa is also so good.
Parking is also super easy with there being tons of lots located nearby. The inside of the store is comfortable too only downside is that sometimes the lobby gets left unkept for too long after some customers leave a mess all over the tables or floors.

Chipotle overall has the WORST customer service EVER! Specifically for catering. You can not talk to a person ever only a phone tree and if you try to contact the actual individual store you get back to the phone tree or no one answers the phone.Do you need Mexican food for an event?? Go somewhere else....

Been coming here for many years, having grown up on the Burlingame/Millbrae border and living here as an adult for a decade.
Ordered pickup via the app on a Saturday, arrived with just a few people in line ordering in person. They had 3 workers in front and a few in back. I walked up to the employee at the register and gave my name as I could see my order behind the register (it was the only order in the pick up shelf)
The employee at the register looks back at it and says "yeah hold on" then waits about 15 seconds for the next person ordering in line to get to him. He proceeds to ring this person up, an older gentleman who clearly was having trouble figuring out where to tap his credit card to pay. The cashier was pretty rude and condescending to the him and looked annoyed he didn't tap his card in the right spot. Once that was all done, he reaches back, hands me my order without looking at me or even saying a word.
I rarely give one star reviews, and I know it's Chipotle, but I've come here enough over the years to say the service has gradually gotten worse with time. And if you have someone coming in that's ordered via the app and the order is all bagged up and ready, why ask me to wait so you can then wait for the next customer to get to the register and ring them up and leave me waiting when you can just grab the bag behind you and hand it to me. You already turned and looked at it for crying out loud. It's just a lack of logic and/or common sense, or perhaps just an unhappy employee. Imo, the guy looked pretty unhappy and given his interaction with me and the other customer he was rude to, management might need to take a closer look at things as the ratings for this location are pretty low and it's not difficult to see why.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

The servings are fairly stingy here and the staff isn't very friendly or trained. I've had a few issues at this specific location near my house when ordering. I'll try a different chipotle location next time.

For the Chipotle Mexican Grill restaurants I have patronized, the food is always fresh and delicious. The burritos, burrito bowls, and tacos are so good. I just like how their meats are prepared with very little grease. This is well worth the praise!
Service? Every Chipotle Mexican Grill I patronized before, service is always very good. Friendly team members as well.

Today, I ordered three tacos. It's chicken tacos on soft flour tortillas with white rice, chicken, and cheese. Included in this meal is a medium fountain drink. These tacos are quick eats, delicious and satisfying.

This is the worst chipotle ever!! The dirtiest restaurant! the rice is nasty, they're always out of something. Today they didn't have steak! WTF! Horrible!

Ive never seen a business so consistently bad, year after year after year. I've never seen employees try to skimp on portion sizes like this location does. The Colma location has nice employees and reasonably sized portions that are almost always better tasting. Matter of fact every other Chipotle I've ever been to is better.

I don't know how many times I have to write a review; it's the fourth time I've received the wrong order. The last time I placed an order for a Pellegrino, but they mistakenly included an empty cup in the to-go bag. What am I supposed to do with a Chipotle paper cup at home? This time, I have attached a copy of the receipt, and as you can see, this is what I just received. Considering the continual errors and inconvenience, I believe I deserve more than a $200 gift card to compensate for this ongoing problem. I know you guys going to apologize for it but what else can you guys do to satisfy your customers?

-ScottDec 6, 2023Previous reviewI ordered my salad here online, it was 7 mins late when picked it up they put barely enough greens on it and I saw this 3 Lettuce head that has dirt on it. these are supposed to be garbage. I was standing there watching them work, they're talking and not paying attention to what they're doing. They also forgot to put some dressing in the bag.

I used to come here consistently for a late dinner before my night shifts, and this location was always decent. However since they started closing around 11pm, I wouldn't bother coming in after 10pm. They didn't have lettuce, veggies, mild sauce, guac, corn, or chips (and only a couple meats left) yet they still charge full price for the meal. If you aren't going to make any more food for the remaining hour, then don't even bother opening late, it's really misleading for people coming in. I feel like they just want to get rid of the scraps so they don't have to toss them out, but still want people paying full price for a cold meat and cheese burrito. To make it worse, the worker didn't even bother to warm up the tortillas! Save yourself the trouble and just go to a good Mexican food truck or restaurant close by. The convenience and fast service of chipotle is not always worth it.
