One of the best customer service experiences that I've had.
I got a call from the manager Marissa asking about my experience in ordering online from this store (I do it about once a week). After telling her that I was really happy with the service but that there was an issue on my last order, she offered to buy my team and me lunch next time. Consistently good service at this Chipotle. I have been to this location multiple times and still haven't caught them on a bad day. It gets crowded during lunch hours but they seem to work hard on getting the line down so I usually get my order pretty quickly.
My favorite order is either the steak or chicken quesadilla, which is not on the menu, you have to ask. Or my second favorite order is three hard shell tacos, one with carnitas, chicken, and steak or sofritas. Sofritas is tofu in Spanish. Coming from California to Illinois going on two years now several food topics have popped up at the weirdest times:
The deep dish pizza argument that looms front and center at my new home, what's your favorite steakhouse, who makes the best cheeseburger in this city, where the hell to get good affordable sushi........and this list goes on (and on)!
Then there is the "Chipotle" issue:
Simply put, Chipotle had a PR problem a few years ago in the western USA ala CA - OR - WA. This problem was unwashed lettuce and salmonella, E. coli, and Listeria.
It hobbled Chipotle's business in this region.
It was clearly not a problem for the other forty-seven states as Chipotle's business was as robust as ever.
Well, two years after this fact, here I am living in Illinois and down the street from us is a constantly "packed" Chipotle.
I guess it was time to shake off those indoctrinated demons, go inside and order a chicken burrito.
Voila, I did and I'm glad I did!
For the price, size, character and complexion this burrito was damn good. Was it Mama in the kitchen in East L.A. or Pilsen cooking it - No!

This franchise is being run by people that do not care about quality in the order experience for people visiting in person. It is over run by patrons that cut in line and they make you wait while they prioritize online orders.
Tonight specifically we waited for over half an hour in line, but only because online orders were prioritized. The quality is poor, the white rice was cooked plain with none of the normal add ins - lime, salt, cilantro and my salsa was placed in the bag without a lid on and spilled all over the bag and ruining my burrito bowl. Went to chipotle on Northwest Highway in Park Ridge IL. The service was fair. It was 2:30 on a Thursday afternoon, all the tables in there were dirty. I don't understand how an establishment can leave all those tables dirty. I guess it's the employees who don't want to do their job. They didn't have any forks either. I think they might need new management.

Very good food but the service was terrible, I am on a calorie deficit and I got a veggie burrito and while checking out i got many dirty looks and was judged multiple times and many different shops, will not come back make your own burrito if you do not wanna be judged.

This Gold Coast location has GOT to be the WORST restaurant out of the whole Chipotle franchise! Every time I go there they are out of everything and the section where all the containers are kept looks like someone had a food fight - food and sauce thrown all over the place! Whenever I ask for tomatoes I get a spoon full of liquid making my meal all soggy. And they throw ALL the ingredients on top of each other in the "middle" of the sandwich so the only tasty part of the burrito is the middle which falls apart due to how wet and soggy the tortilla is. I used to order the pork but since every order I got was fatty I switched to a vegetarian burrito instead.
And the employees here are all so grumpy! I've been to several different Chipotle's and the experiences have all been pleasant. I don't know why this location on State St is just so AWFUL!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

The costumer service in the store and in the website is the worst. If you order food in the application the people that do the order do not how to read and gave you what they want instead of what you order. Then you contact costumer service to chat with a robot with a preselected answers that do not satisfy your needs. At the end of the nightmare trying to explain what were your issues, they offered a free drink with a limited time to redeem it. I will never order from this place again.

Unreal how dirty the food prep area was.the whole restaurant was dirty. They were out of guacamole, black beans and some meats. No one manning the register for over ten minutes while they joked in the kitchen. Never will I eat from Chipotle again

Horrilbe service. Food not fresh. Manager is rude, comes out with an attitude. Manager should be fired. Go elsewhere.
