China King

My family stopped at China King for the first time today, and we were absolutely blown away by the food. It's a must try for anyone who loves authentic Chinese food. The owner was the sweetest man (extremely heavy accent, so be be prepared), who answered all our questions. He made the food himself.

The food is inexpensive considering it's incredibly authentic and the great quality. They do not use MSG, which is a bonus.

Now, it is a very simple set up. So don't expect a sit down full wait staff experience. They have two tables, available. Plus a bathroom. Takeout is best, just for space.

Definitely my new favorite Chinese restaurant in Tallahassee!

Filthy establishment! Deceptive pricing. Online ordering process doesn't display the correct price. $12.45 lunch order increased to $18 when I arrived. Placed order at 11:53 am, scheduled pick up for 1 pm & was called at 12:20 pm by China King asking-YELLING "When are you coming to pick this up!!??" Rude staff who do not communicate well. Disgusting Food! Go to your nearest dumpster for food, as it would taste better than this rotten hole! This nasty place should Not be allowed to serve the public! Health Department has been notified. Just Gross!

I ordered general tso's chicken and general tso's tofu and when I got home it was general tso's chicken and tofu with vegetables. I called to saw I didn't get the correct order, that it was just tofu vegetables and some kind of garlic sauce. I was screamed at over the phone and was told I didn't know what I was talking about. He was yelling so loud that my boyfriend overheard from across the room and it wasn't even on speaker. He laughed at me and said he's correct in what he made. Incredibly rude!

STOP now and do NOT eat here!!! The fried food was horrible! It tasted like they haven't changed their oil in months. (So what's in that oil after this long??) I took a few bites and threw the rest away. In addition, I called back to give feedback personally before posting and they yelled at me! No apologies or attempt to make it right at all. Save your money and try another nearby.

I ordered something and they forgot to put it on the order so when I picked it up it wasn't there and I didn't realize and I couldn't prove to you them that I ordered it because the receipt doesn't have any list of what I ordered. I went back to ask if they had forgot it and the man was yelling at me and calling me crazy and the woman working there literally had to hit in him to make him be quiet because of how loud we got. He simply would not listen to what I had to say. Thank god she was there because she actually listened to what I was trying to say. I drove 3 hours and have not eaten all day to be treated like a "crazy person".

Used to be fairly good. Ordered egg drop and hot and sour soup. Couldn't eat either, there was definitely sugar in it. Beef and broccoli was very so-so, meat was mushy. And then there's this egg roll.

My family used to live right down the street from this restaurant. We have always enjoyed their food. They are also kind and keep a clean kitchen. Recently we moved about 12 miles away and when we went out to get Chinese we drove all the way back to eat here. So I'm giving them 5 stars for being a nicely done chinese takeout restaurant. The food is that good.

Awful! Nasty to me. I asked for boneless ribs and I got home and had ribs with bones. I had repeated that I wanted boneless 4 times and they still got it wrong. The fried rice has no vegetables or pork in it. The egg rolls are skinny and undercooked. $32 wasted dollars.

The menu is the standard Chinese take out menu. It's in a place where I feel doesn't get much attention, I didn't even know it was there until recently I accidentally spotted it while at Starbucks. The guy at the counter was super friendly. They were very fast. The food was noticeably fresh. I got the beef and broccoli and the broccoli and carrots were crunchy, and the beef and sauce were flavorful. The fried rice wasn't the yellow standard fried rice at most of these places and it was tasty. The fried rice was missing the peas carrots and eggs like I like, but the rice was great. Overall, super tasty and I'll be back!

The rice didn't have any vegetables in it at all. The rice was old, dry, and gross. It was definitely not fresh by any means. The Chicken Teriyaki was absolutely disgusting. No flavor at all. No teriyaki. Worst food I've had. Huge waste of time and money. Would never recommend.
