Chicago Wellness Center

not sure if this closed company is scamming people or if a scam is using this companys name but I got a flyer GLUED to my car window (see pictures for the aftermath it left) and I went to google the company to leave a review but the only thing that came up was this place. Googling the phone number comes up with nothing. Be wary!

Ok, my old lady story. I fell on the ice while building a snowman (I'm 30!) last winter. I had a mess of injuries for such a stupid accident... displaced (not quite dislocated) ribs, bruises, etc. So much that I didn't notice for a while just how thoroughly I'd messed up my neck. I finally went to see Dr. Silbert a couple of months of pain later, and he is AMAZING. He made a comprehensive treatment plan and ran it by me step by step, gave me tons of reading on all his procedures and on nutritional supplements that would help relax the tense muscles around the injured area. He also explained all of his costs (even though it was going through my insurance) and told me right away, "If I can't cure you in 5 sessions or less, fire me." And he did. I've gone back voluntarily for adjustments when I feel I need them, but never felt any pressure to keep making appointments.

Dr. Silbert is always friendly and exuberant, and obviously loves what he does. He makes efforts to treat injuries from every possible vantage point, including nutrition, alternative therapies and exercise. I've usually been able to get appointments right away, and also early in the morning so I don't have to miss work. The location is ideal if you work in the loop.

Truth be told, I really started going to him because of a negative review (among many, many glowing ones) that I read on another site, where the reviewer was upset that Dr. Silbert swore during his session. So, wait, you're telling me he's an amazing, fun chiropractor, who will also jovially swear now and again? I'm sold.

Best I've worked with. Goal is to get you in and out without coming back for a never-ending series of 'adjustments'. Silbert is enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and has a great sense of humor.
I've recommended his office to multiple friends and co-workers.

FYI--this office is now closed. One doc moved north of Wrigley and one moved to the Netherlands.

Loved this place! Just moved here from Houston and was in dire need of a finding a chiropractor. I found this location due to the reviews on Yelp, and it didn't hurt being a few blocks from work.

Dr. Silbert definitely knows more than just about back adjustments. I came in with several problems, and he recommended tackling one at a time. He even told me that once we get everything squared away, he never wants to see me again (in a good way of course!). The office was on time, which I appreciated!

Dr. Silbert took his time with me and did more than just one option for helping with my neck and foot pain. I felt like a valued client, and felt great when I left. As some reviews stated, he comes across as a regular person and not a snobby doctor. Yes, he may drop some "f" bombs, but that doesn't bother me, as I read it bothered other people. If you don't like it, I'm sure he'd stop if you asked. However, I liked that he was himself and made me feel comfortable.

After my first day, he called me the same night to make sure I was doing okay and to call him if I had any questions or needed anything. I thought that was a nice touch, but wish they would have let me know to expect a call, otherwise, I screen my calls that I don't recognize.

I actually can't wait to go back, and love how convenient the location is, and how on time they are.

Brilliant healer with best bedside manner I've ever seen in a medical professional. He has invested in the most advanced medical equipment available. He gives you a packet of information to read, then asks you to do your homework and read about all the methods he can perform. You then discuss each approach and together and express which you're most comfortable with, not just his recommendation. He treats you like an intelligent person, not a piece of meat like orthopedists do! He treats the whole person, which is very rare. I came in with torn tendons in my knee and he healed them with a combination of acupuncture, laser therapy and enzymes, gone in 3 weeks. No surgery. During that time, I developed a canker sore and he coincidentally treated that with the laser and it went away in 2 days instead of the 2 weeks it usually takes! This guy's got the gift. Highly recommended.

I decided to go to the Chicago Wellness Center because of the other reviews here on Yelp and because it is located very close to my office so I can go in on my lunch break. Trust me, I was not disappointed. Dr. Silbert is wonderful! As many if the reviewers said, Dr. Silbert is not your conventional doctor. He's very informative, he has a great sense of humor, and most importantly, he's great at what he does. After years of unexplained pain in my hip, Dr. Silbert pinpointed the problem in less than an hour. Finally someone took the time to figure out the problem instead of insisting there wasn't one. I felt immediately better after leaving the office after my first visit! And I find it amazing how Dr. Silbert uses a combination of therapies to provide the most relief. I am so happy to finally be rid of the pain in my hip and I couldn't be more happy.
