Do not go here. I went here for 2 years. Left the first chiropractor I saw due to sexist comments. The second chiropractor I saw was phenomenal, and I was very lucky to see him, but he moved. He was the only reason that I kept coming, so I have not attended an appointment in a month. The front desk staff is poorly trained. They will connect you to a STIM machine, turn it all the way up, and blame you. The quality of care I saw outside of the second doctor was poor. I recently called with an insurance issue and was talked down to by the head of the practice Dr. Aldmen. Extremely disappointed to hear how they talk to patients who trusted them.

This place is absolute garbage. I have been trying to get an appointment for 2 months. When I finally got one, they called me while I was already on the way to cancel. No availability and poor customer service. Too many good small businesses in the area that do a better job. Support them instead.

BE AWARE! I visited this office approximately two years ago now post-op from my second ACL surgery in 1 year. I am a former D1 athlete and my athletic trainer in-house had informed me that they thought my hips were severely misaligned and would not assist me due to my post-operative state. I was referred to this office and should've been weary after my first appointment how my "treatment" was going to proceed. They processed my insurance and display obvious EXCITEMENT when they told me "my insurance covered all services in full." (No kidding, 2 ACL surgeries in a year does a great job of maxing out your high deductible plan)... I went probably once or twice a week for about two months with little to no results. I had seen a chiropractor previously, and I could tell when she performed her adjustment that my hip was the closest it's ever been to being aligned. The chiropractor I saw (I won't mention names) performed the same adjustment every time without ever reevaluating what was it was not working. They did complete X-rays upon intake and, similar to other reviews, assured me I would be "arthritic in no time" without care. Nevertheless, I continued going hoping for results. During every manipulation, I was urged to signed up for other services for the office. PT, acupuncture, massage, you name it! I was already enrolled in PT at my doctors office (the surgeons for the Bulls, White Sox, and Chicago Fire). As you can imagine, I politely declined every time. My final straw was when I came in for my weekly appointment (I was going twice a week max instead of the recommended 3 adjustments) and was placed in a room for a massage and informed to "undress and someone would be in shortly for my massage." I had never received a massage at this office, nor did I want one. While it was no cost out of pocket to myself, my plan is funded through my public high school in my hometown. That being said, the funds allotted to pay for medical care are at the expense of the school district (and therefor tax dollars, students education, etc). If I wanted a massage, 1) I would not have gotten it from this office and 2) I would've paid out of pocket for it. That was my final straw.
Here I am, 2+ years later writing a review. Why? Because just recently I received a call from this office (within the past week) soliciting me to come back to "resume my chiropractic care." I may have to do some research, but I'm pretty sure there's a law somewhere that prevents medical providers from soliciting services to patients out of the blue.
At this point, if I could rescind my medical information/contact information from this office, I would. Learn from my mistakes and save yourself the headache!!!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jackson C.Chicago, IL35164May 20, 2018
Hands down best Chiropractor in the city.
Dr Alden does a great job making sure both your experience and treatments are done right.
I've recommended many of my friends with the same results.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Elif Y.Wicker Park, Chicago, IL2461Dec 21, 2016
My review is solely based on my customer service experience with the office staff. I canceled my massage the day of and was charged a fee. My email reminder said if I had to cancel that I should just cancel on the website or make a phone call. there was no mention that canceling would incur a fee. When I called to cancel, there was again no reminder and I was told "no problem."
Now today I see a charge on my credit card for $50 which is nearly the cost of the massage.
A simple email reminder or reminder over the phone that canceling would have cost a fee would've kept me at that appointment.
When I called to ask them to reverse it they said no. no one time courtesy as most places would do since again there was zero reminders about a policy I read several months ago.
Anyways. The massage was good. Just be careful about the cancellation fee as in my experience they will not remind you about it until after you're already charged.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tara T.Chicago, IL17103Aug 29, 2018
I've never written a slightly negative review before so I feel kind of guilty doing this, however, I do think it can be helpful to someone with a similar situation as mine. I purchased their Groupon by doing a random google search for chiropractors and actual massage therapists in my area. I've had a couple of health hiccups this year and wanted to find a doctor, preferably, to see what their thoughts were regarding my situation. I requested an appointment through their site and wrote a message on how I wanted to schedule a deep tissue massage and speak to a doctor beforehand to make them aware of everything going on with me and to get their feedback- realistically I was thinking I'd go in and talk to someone and he/she'd have a recommendation on what I should get done. When I didn't hear back by the next day I called. Not because it had been a dramatic amount of time or anything but I was in pain lol. Make my appointment, they got me in quick which was nice, fast forward to present and I have my appointment. In all fairness, I was five minutes late. Traffic was horrible so I briskly walked it haha... girls at the desk are super sweet, I was taken back within a few minutes, all great. But then it kind of went downhill. She didn't seem to be aware that I wanted to talk to someone before so I just told her I wanted to make her aware of what was up with me and she was very nice but the whole thing felt rushed, like literally she had one foot out the door lol, I changed she came back in and the massage itself was great. I think she was extra cautious with me so I don't know that what was done was close to enough but she was good. She did stop at 630 on the dot and we didn't start the actual massage until about 650. I wasn't told on the phone or in the email that I needed to be there early. As a matter of fact lol, I told her making the appointment that I had work until five and asked if there was something later and that's when she offered five thirty. But anyway, after I was just told to go to the receptionist and she will give me more information on their services and what insurance may cover. So I felt like I was kind of lost in the shuffle. I'm not blaming any one person at all, I just think I was very overlooked which was disheartening because I was excited to go and to figure out a plan and I genuinely hoped I liked the doctor. The other part of this that bothered me is that I have a feeling- which could be off base, it's just what I think the reasoning may have been- that because they knew I had bought the Groupon they looked at it very Groupon-ish. Which is fair I get it, but if you're going to do that don't advertise on that platform you know.
This was incredibly long, thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nic D.Chicago, IL05Apr 28, 2017
My experience with Dr. Lewis and the rest of the staff that i've had the pleasure to interact with, has always been positive and pleasant. The environment is welcoming and extremely accommodating. I have complete faith in the medical care that I have been receiving over the past two years, and wouldn't think twice about recommending them to my closest friends and family. The follow-up calls post treatment are appreciated as well.
The massage therapists are knowledgeable, professional and ask a lot of questions regarding how you're feeling and what areas to focus on.

Great staff and relaxing atmosphere. I came into the office with severe neck pain and shoulder pain & headaches from a sports injury I had for over 2 yrs. Went to many different Chiropractors around Chicago and none were able to diagnose me with the problem I had. First day in the office Carlos explained to me how they diagnose and then go about treating people. They did X- Rays on me and then explain to me what I had. 8 visits later my pain and discomfort has almost gone away completely thanks to Dr. Louis and their staff. They have changed my life for the better!

I bought the massage on groupon and the hour long massage was fine but 45 min and then a push to see the chiropractor. I made an appointment after a consultation. When I got home I found that there was a separate groupon for the chiropractic exam and xrays so I bought that. When I showed up for the appointment the chiropractor told me that technically the groupon wasnt good because I could only buy one. He did honor it but only after lecturing me and seeming pissed off and discussing someone else's bill in front of me. After xrays he told me I was in need of orthotic and 3 times a week treatment for 12 weeks. Basically 1000 dollars a month . After telling me that if I didnt do this I would be arthritic and in terrible shape for life, he did a minor adjustment that did zero and put me on a rolling table that was sub par to a massage chair at a nail salon. The upsell and ridiculous diagnosis was classic set up for ripping me off. Do not go here. It's a union insurance mill. I've had chiropractic care for 30 years and NEVER have I been subjected to such utter greed. I cancelled my next appointment and will never ever go back
