Chez Nous American Haitian Restaurant

Food was good not as cool as one my spot but a good alternative. They didn't give certain sauces that come with the food most often time. I did get it delivered so maybe that's why but overall good food.

Do not recommend this place as the service is terrible, the food is served raw, the bathrooms are dirty, the floor is unclean, bugs are everywhere, and there is a very bad smell. Walking in is a horrible experience.

The food is always fresh, and good. Customer service is very thorough and thoughtful.

Was skeptical at first because of the Google Reviews, but this place was GREAT! My man had the oxtails and could not stop talking about how good they were (he's picky & thinks he's a foodie ). I had the snapper with the mushroom rice ( don't know how to spell the original name) .

Not only was the food great, but the service was superb. Not sure if it was the owner but he took care of us, explained the food perfectly and treated us like we were royalty. Definetly try this amazing place.

The food is fantastic very good Haitian restaurant definitely.the fish fries is perfect, soup jouroumou every Sunday they make me don't miss anything from my country vegetable white rice very great .

Food was actually pretty good. I was looking for another Haitian restaurant just to have another option near by. Meatball was tasty, griot had taste but was a bit dry, fried plantains were really good and the brown rice i wasn't a fan of, too grainy. In all food was good, I'll return.

Chex Nous is located in a shopping center off of State rd. There is plenty of free parking here. This establish has great lighting with a warm feel. Upon entering my cousin and I were greeted by the lovely Michou who was very patient explaining the menu and alternate options to replace my rice.
There do not have neutral gender bathrooms however the ones that were provided were sparking clean.
I ordered the fried snapper and fried turkey. The snapper was so good; it has just the right amount of crunch and and spices to sweeten your tongue. Instead of rice iI asked for more plantain and a salad. The salad was super fresh and just the right serving size. The turkey Tasso was everything; it was flavorful and juicy not dry.
There was a refrigerator that contained a variety of beverages from water to fruit champagne soda; I got the pineapple soda and the watermelon. I preferred the pineapple soda. Two thumbs up Chex Nous! I will definitely be back.

Okay so I had to update my review because they moved locations and I was under the notion this restaurant that took their spot was the same people so beware because they are not.

I have been coming here for over 15 years .. food is amazing! I love Chez Nou Be sure to go to the new location on 3056 s state road 7 bay 38 Miramar Fl 33023! You won't be sorry.

I successfully ate here once & minus the horrible service I initially received, I still tried 2 more times. The cashier refuses to take my order of only rice & plantains (I'm a vegetarian) I'm not sure why it's so hard to order a side of rice? I walked in.. waited in line.. spewed my order.. and the cashier waved her hand at me and said "not today" I understand this is a small business but the service is just ridiculous not only do you consistently not have enough rice to serve but you lack the friendliness for me to be okay with it. I'm sugarcoating the whole experience because I don't like to leave negative reviews but it wasn't hospitable and they didn't even have pikliz the first time I went so I'm mad I even kept trying

Probably the best catering Haitian food I've had. Not big on getting take out unless it's certain times of the day, and the store isn't that welcoming, with slightly rude staff( not surprised) but the owner is professional, and when I say the catering was amazing!!! Had all guest begging for more and inquiring on where the food was made. They couldn't believe this location made it due to their in store experience. Grio was juicy and fried to perfection, Turkey in sauce was amazing with enough onions, rice was moist and fresh, plantains were flaky and delicious. Again the location isn't anything to be desired and the staff aren't trained on how to treat guest ready to spend over 50 dollars of food, but the management and owner and how they made sure the catering was amazing did enough for me to always come here when I have a party to feed or when I want to treat my family to good Haitian cuisine
