Was able to sample these little glory cakes during the Yelp event down at the Fillmore. I reached out via e-mail after scoping out Chloe's cute website. I wanted to order 30 mini lava cakes with some special requests for a party I had coming up in 6 days. She was extremely prompt and accommodating. We arranged for her to deliver them to my house on a Sunday for a nominal delivery charge.

I could not be happier, they are divine. Just amazing how decedent they really are. One bite of the moist cake filled with that gooey center, my god. I'm hooked.

I have tried these in the past and absolutely loved them. I do not like anything overly sweet, in fact I try to keep sugars limited and this was the perfect combination of rich, dark chocolate. The gooey center with the perfectly cooked outside is an art!

I just placed a large order for a wine tasting event as we needed a dessert pairing and I knew I could count on these to be the perfect compliment to a French wine. I was also thrilled that my questions were answered very quickly via email and she offers delivery! As an event planner and foodie I will continue to order these delicious lava cakes. If you're hosting an event in Metro Detroit I highly recommend these for your menu... your guests will be grateful! I cannot wait for everyone's reaction as they indulge.

Girlfriend knows how to bake!!

By far, the most memorable thing I put in my mouth at my first (gasp) Eastern Market visit a couple of months ago were Chloe ' s lava cakes. Hooooly chocolate decadence!

Though I am not French, I have missed my European pastries since moving to the US. Chloe and her teeny tiny cake brought me back for a sec, and I loved every moment of it.

The cakes are dense little chocolate pucks in the absolute best possible way. Firm on the outside, with the most perfect, gooey chocolate center, these are what chocolate dreams are made of.

How am I the first person to review this gem?!

The first time I visited this wonderful filly, she ran out a little bit after 1pm (she sets up shop in shed 5 at Eastern market on Saturday mornings). I came back the next weekend before noon, as she suggested and she had everything this time. I wanted to try her chocolate original lava cake and a caramel one. She accidentally gave me two originals and left off the caramel. There are certainly worse problems one could have. The lava cakes were simply delightful! The chocolate inside the cake was nicely oozy (that is a foodie word, BTW), and not excessive. Yes, they are pricy at $5. However, they are baked with love and care - it certainly shows in the final product. Give her a visit before she blows up!

Had these at treat dreams. How good were they? We got these to complement our ice creams and had a Home Alone mouth agape meltdown (no pun intended) when they disappeared...despite having a giant scoop of ice cream still left.

Those Lava Cakes were INCREDIBLE! I enjoyed one at home and I think it's awesome they give you instructions on how to heat it up at home! So rich and eveything I want in sweets! Would love to get one again the next time I'm in Michigan.

Delicious lava cakes just like back-home in France! I usually get them at Great Lakes Coffee, but they often run out of them.

Came here to get a lavacake. Didn't have any (3 p.m.) and come to find out, they don't even make them. They buy them from a French baker!!! Probably won't be coming back!

Chloe provided dessert for our 180 person wedding and her cakes were divine!! She is a true professional and so great to work with. Our guests were obsessing over her cakes all night!! They are just so delicious, you have to taste them for yourself!
