Check Maid Cleaning Services

If you're lazy like me, you should call. My friend was moving out & needed help cleaning out her spot to get her deposit back. ummmmmmm yea I wasn't thrilled about it LOL soooo looked up a few places and came across Check Maid. There's a lot of cleaning services out there, but I chose them cuz when I called and talked to em they seemed honest and reasonably priced! It also was a major bonus that they were able to come last minute.

Did a good job - 2 bedroom 1 bath apt, cleaned the carpets, walls, the blinds/windows that everyone forgets about... and all the little crevices that consume millions of hair ties.

All in all, if you hate cleaning (like most EVERYONE does) or dont have time, call Alex!

Fast, easy, and reliable!

My parents are a little older and I wanted to get them a good cleaning service. I came across check maid cleaning service, and I couldn't have been happier. I called in and was greeted with the best service. I was able to get a good monthly deal and it was easy to set up. The first day they came in and cleaned everything that I asked. I'm very happy with the service and I would forsure recommend it to anyone!

Despite a couple negative reviews I decided to take a chance, hoping this company was just having an off month. Unfortunately, my experience was the same as other recent reviews.

The online booking tool estimated my clean would take 2-3 hours. My cleaners took barely over one. Ironically I know this because I had run out to grab some cash to tip my cleaners and found they'd gone when I came back!

Certainly not the deep clean advertised, streaks left on the floor showed that they bypassed huge areas. There were a lot of other inconsistencies as well, such as wiping down one sink basin but not the other and leaving streaks on the kitchen counters. Many items were moved but had not been dusted and the surface beneath appeared untouched. It's as if they were moved solely to create the illusion of having been cleaned.

This really is as good as it gets!! We had some family coming to visit from out of town and really wanted to make sure the place looked great. As much as we try to clean, we don't get everything as clean as we would like.

We hired this group and two women came and got EVERYTHING clean!! Every room was spotless. I mean, like "I can eat off my floor" clean. It was "I can lay on the floor and read" clean. It was "I didn't know it was this color" clean. I'm not sure how else to explain it.

I will definitely give them a call again when I need my house to be THE CLEANEST ON THE BLOCK!!

Customer service: This place should be teaching other companies about customer servce. They were really nice and friendly very straight to the point and no hidden costs.

Cleaning: WOW. I have lived with 3 other people for 2 years and our place was pretty messy. They cleaned the heck out of everything.Spotless work! the shower had none of the typical residue, the oven was clean, carpet looked brand new and not a speck of dust anywhere.

Will be calling them for future needs.

I own a three bedroom condo in downtown walnut creek and i have roommates that are very messy, they leave dishes out, don't vacuum etc. So i work full time and don't have any time to clean up after them so i was referred to this amazing company check maids. Josephina and Angie showed up right on time when i had scheduled the appointment. they brought all their own cleaning supplies, they are background checked and US citizens.
They did a extremely through job of cleaning, including the window sills that my prior cleaning company avoided by all costs. they were easy to speak to about any concerns i had. spoke fluent English. Got the job done fast, and are reliable, dependable and trust worthy. also very detail oriented!

Not recommended if your time is precious. I had a 9am appointment, they called me at 8:45 and have to reschedule for 11am. (I was already at the house, since I don't reside there, I had to make a trip). I told them I can't stay that long, so we rescheduled for the next day.

The next day. I was again, in the house, waited for half an hour, no show, called the office, no answer... The maid finally showed up and said she was stuck in traffic.

I should bill them for the time I spent waiting around.

The cleaning job was just ok. Would not pass white glove service, I had to point out areas that needed to be cleaned again.

I would say, save yourself $230 (it was a 3 bed/ 2ba) and do it yourself :)

Thank god for Check Maid!! i had to move out of my old apartment (p.s. the inner sunset is a lovely quiet place to live) and the landlord (damn SF landlords! lol) would not give back my deposit unless the place was spotless!! Otherwise cleaning would have come out of my deposit. And you know they always overcharge!!! i was pretty stressed until I found Check Maid and read all the reviews. I decided to take a chance. Boy am I glad I did!

Appointments can be made online and the system is super easy to use. I cleared out all my furniture and god was it disgusting. I never noticed how much dust and grime could accumulate over the year that I was living there. Check Maid came by and I didn't have to wait around. They do a background check on all their staff and you could leave a note during the booking process where you want to leave the key. I was free to run errands and go about my day. I got a call when things were about done and I came back to a brand new spankin' apartment!

I highly recommend Check Maid as a monthly service for house maintenance and especially if you're moving out of an apartment.

Happy ending to the story? I got back my deposit in full and my previous landlord now also uses Check Maid. Or should I say checkmate ;)

My roommate and I were planning a BBQ at our house for our friends. But our place was basically a mess. And with the kitchen, four bedrooms and three bathrooms, I wasn't about to jump into a cleaning frenzy last minute.

My roommate, remembered that her coworker had suggested check maid cleaning. So we called them up and got a hold of someone to come help us clean up our place. And let me just say, that was the best idea! I'm so glad we called them cause it was easy, hassle free, quick, and super clean in the end. They did the job and I didn't have to worry about it.

Update- Isaac called after reading my review and made the situation right by not charging me for my cleaning which I appreciated.

I have NO idea how this business has 5 stars. I'm only giving one because I'm forced to. I don't know what they did in my apartment for 2 hours but it most certainly was not clean. I also gave the girls an extremely generous tip and they still did no cleaning. I will never use this service again. Do yourself a favor and do not be fooled by the other reviews. What a joke.
