My husband and I purchased our home with every intention of promptly converting our covered back porch into a 3/4 year floor to ceiling glass sunroom. We were so impressed with the estimating and design process with Champion Windows, and equally important, persuaded that the price quoted was fair and quality-based, that we hired Champion over several others. Charles, our project manager, did a great job of keeping us informed as to all stages of construction. After a reasonable wait for materials to be ordered, Champion just completed construction on our gorgeous sunroom. The Champion technicians were skilled, industrious, tidy and professional. Our sunroom is everything we wanted. I cannot recommend Champion highly enough.

Waited a month for an in home quote. They never came out. I called and the rep said my appointment was in the system so he wasn't sure why no one came out. Waste of my time.

Same review as everyone else.
It took one year to get our windows. Champion ordered the wrong size windows TWICE. We even followed up countless times to ensure the measurements would be correct and they were still wrong. Every employee was talked to never knew what was going on (couldn't confirm measurements, no idea on timing, didn't know why the windows were wrong again, had our wrong email repeatedly). No apology or attempt for better customer service either.
When they were finally installed trash was left everywhere for us to clean up (caulk tubes, styrofoam).Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Jenny P.Duluth, GA3234Jun 26, 2023Updated review
Today June 23 2023 William from Champion Windows was at our house. Champion has ordered new doors to replace these at their expense. William was very courteous and knowledgeable and vowed to make the situation right! I will post another update when the work is complete.
Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jun 22, 2023Previous reviewWe had champion windows replace and install new french doors. They ordered and installed an out-swing door despite the prior door being an in-swing. While that would be bad enough, they then installed it completely backwards to cover up the order issue. Now the door is backwards and leaks every time it rains! Now they are saying they will not get the correct doors because my husband signed the contract they wrote up with their mistake! Well trusted that Champion knew what they were doing! Robert McCauley called from champion and would not make it right! Do not trust Champion!

Sales was excellent, but that's where it ended. Was told someone would come out for accurate measurements to send to manufacturer. No one ever called.
Soon i was charged for the doors to be made but never had official measurements taken and it was like pulling teeth for someone to provide me proof that measurements were taken when no one was home. I was told it happened on 10/31 but I was out of state. So must have broken into my property to do it then?
Skip ahead two months, one door shows up to be installed but can't as it doesn't fit. Shocking.
Three months later all doors arrive for install. First time I touch it the screen falls off my patio door. On the other door the hardware isn't what I ordered to begin with and there is a dent in the steel paneling. So one of three doors is working out for me.
In total, it's been six months since i signed on the contract and i haven't so much as received a "hey, we're sorry this has been awful and we really appreciate your business. How can we make it right?"
Instead I have to inquire DAILY with someone from installation scheduling (since this is the only contact I have aside from sales) about when and how management is going to fix it.
I went with Champion as for the warranty and quality of work. Never againHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mindy N.Marietta, GA1152Apr 24, 2023Updated review
An addition to my negative review of Champion Windows and Doors: I got an email and call from a 'manager' who said he 'reviewed my quote' (the one I've never seen myself, remember?) and wanted to offer me a 10 discount if I financed with them. I don't need financing and I then I asked if it was their policy not to provide a written estimate and he specifically stated it was the OPPOSITE of their policy - that I should have gotten a written estimate. He said he wanted to make sure they could earn my business and I said they would not because I didn't trust them
Then he HUNG UP ON ME! No thank you or have a nice day - just hung up. Incredibly rude and unprofessional and only reiterates my decision to never ever ever do business with this shady organization.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Apr 21, 2023Previous reviewWhat kind of company doesn't provide an itemized estimate in writing? Champion -that's who!
The sale presentation was fine. The product seems to be of good quality and I was ready to move ahead. Right after the rep gave me the first verbal quote - he immediately said they could go lower - and they did. Then he pulled the 'let me call my manager' tactic and another lower number was given. Just the number - no paperwork, no follow-up - If I hadn't written them all down myself, there'd be no record of what was given to me.
Then the high pressure started - If you commit today we can go lower, blah blah blah. I stated I would not make that decision based on one 90-minute presentation on a Saturday and he said he'd hold the offer until Monday. I had expected him to call me on Monday - he did not.
I called Champion, got in touch with the rep, and said yes I would have them do the job. Because of a scheduling conflict, I couldn't meet with him again until the following week but he assured me he'd date the contract for the day we met again and I'd get the same price.
NOPE! The next day he called me and said because I didn't give the deposit on the day of the presentation, they couldn't give me the same price. I asked why he didn't give me that quote in writing on the day of the presentation and he said 'We don't do that'?
Well, I don't do business with companies that aren't honest enough to let me know what I'm paying for! I got another quote from another company today and had that emailed to me within an hour of the rep leaving my home. They will get my business!
After reading these 1-star reviews, I dodged the bullet by not giving them any money on the day of the presentation. Buyer beware - if a company won't give you the estimates in writing, run away! - Cory S.San Francisco, CA012Feb 22, 2023
Poor service, communication, and lack of oversight on my project.
I was verbally told we purchased 6 windows, but the sales guy only wrote 5 on the contract. We were told a price for our windows, and now, we are being told we must pay more even though we were verbally agreed upon our project. This is called Bait and Switch. I have tried in vain for 18 days to fix this problem with no response from Champion Window. If you buy from Champion, your expectation should be that you will sign a contract and never hear from them again.
Additionally, I wanted to add grids to my windows BEFORE the project was sent to production, but our sales guy - much like a stone - lazily didn't do this either. Due to his lack of attention, we now will be getting windows that we don't want and Champion is saying this is our fault and must pay.
It's now been 19 days since I first reached out to our sales guy with no response.
I wouldn't work with Champion again even if there was a gun to my head. They will make a sale and walk away - customer be damned!
DO NOT BUY FROM CHAMPION WINDOWS!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Doug T.Atlanta, GA3128Dec 1, 2022
Read all of the one start reviews, and you'll see the same story time and again. They push hard to get you to sign, making what appears to be a fantastic offer when the salesman is on sight. They take half of the full payment at time of deposit, then you'll never hear from them again.
I paid to have my sunroom converted in May. The windows and door were supposed to be installed in August. I never heard anything from them, so I called...and called until I finally got someone. Long story short, after many calls and being told that they had a new Implementation Manager (they had a new one each month), I found out the order wasn't actually put in until October. So, I waited and waited. No updates. Started calling again, found out they couldn't tell me when the windows would be ready or when they could install them. I just want my money back now. Unfortunately, we won't be able to use the sunroom for my home office or for Christmas celebration events. What a let down!
Please save yourself the trouble and do not use these guys! Don't let the salesman come because they will pressure you to sign that day and will make it hard for you to say no.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mari B.GA, GA01Mar 30, 2023
I had a presentation from champion windows but decided not to move forward with the project. The representative, Mike Bradley was very nice and thorough and I started to move forward, but decided not to after reading all the negative reviews.
Salesman was class act, but I cannot give a five star review because of posted negative complaints.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Catherine B.Avondale Estates, GA01Feb 3, 2024
I replaced all my windows through Champion years ago, and they were great for years. Now the glass seal has failed in some of them and the little latches to keep the windows up, when you raise them seem to have broken too, as the windows can't stay up on their own. A few years back, I called for service and the service was great and prompt. Today, I called for 1 more window with a broken seal and 2 others with the little latch issues and was told it is standard now to have to wait for 60 to 90 days BEFORE I get a call back to SCHEDULE a repair.... One of the windows looks all fogged up, and that is poor advertisement for Champion. each time people come to visit, they notice and I will make sure to tell them which company I used and what their repair policy is. It is extremely disappointing! I was going to replace one more window now that we did a remodel in the bathroom and enlarged a window, but if that is their new policy, I will not use Champion for that window. It will be hard to recommend this company if their after sale customer service is like this.
