As a middle-aged person, I've had insurance of all types for a long time--auto, homeowners, renters, umbrella.

I've dealt with a lot of the major companies but never an independent agent.

Ever since the auto insurance companies started marketing their apps and offering dot com access, I shop around directly.

But, I decided to buy an Explorer conversion van, basically a limo for large families. Many captain's chairs, leather, storage, pretty lights, TV, DVD, video game, etc.

I was surprised at how many major insurance companies had no clue how to rate it even though they've been around for over forty years or more.

They were afraid I was going to use it for rideshare or a party bus. The confusion and denials slowed down the purchase of the vehicle and increased my anxiety and anger.

Someone at Geico suggested I contact an independent agent, so I came here to Yelp and found Century One.

Julie answered and immediately began searching as I explained my story.

Within several minutes, she had the perfect company and expertly submitted my vehicle information, so the computer system and underwriters completely understood what vehicle I bought.

Unlike an agent from one of the big brands, Julie was very well versed about the INDUSTRY and how things are done.

Her goal, like any independent agent, is to help her clients get the best deal, and she did.

She took this huge weight off my shoulders, and I much appreciate that.

My good friend recommended me to Maria. She praised this company really good. When I called the receptionist answer kind of confused seems like she was lost. When I told her If I may speak to Maria she seemed scared like something bad was going to happen to her. When I got transferred to Maria and told her I wanted to get insured and told her I got recommended by my friend even gave her the name of her she seemed confused like she didn't even knew the person at all. I had a couple of "issues" with my policy and Aida and Jessica helped me fixing everything..
Now I finally feel safe to drive :) But mostly i feel happy that I found a great agency and great people.
