The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of the tremendous customer service skills of all the employees. Especially Zach, he was amazing and so helpful. After driving over a hour to this location, all but 1/2 attractions were available. It was quite disappointing.

I came to Fun-world in the middle of the week for a team event. We pretty much had the place to ourselves. If you are new to fun world the have batting cages, mini golf, go cart track, arcade games, bowling and so much more.
The day we were there a lot of things were not open. No laser tag, no concession stands and no one manning climbing walls. I tried to play air hockey and the machine kept eating the puck. We would track down the main ten e man ask him to get our puck and then it would get stuck again. That was a bummer because we never got to play a game and wasted quite a few tokens trying to play.
I'd come back to check this place out during the weekend to see how things are operating when it's busier.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - MG W.Alexandria, VA038Oct 23, 2023
Fun Land needs to step-up its customer service department. We took two of our grandsons and went to Fun Land to entertain them for a few hours. Problem was that none of us had been there before and didn't know our way around.
The young people "working" there seemed bothered when we asked about the way things worked: Cost of tickets? Upgrades? How wrist bands worked on the machine scanners? What were the kids allowed to do and/or not do?
It was as if we were outsiders and not welcome. Did I mention that the "music" was so load that it was nearly impossible to communicate verbally? Or am I just being old again? Maybe I should I should have texted them...
If you wander into Fun Land for the first time, be prepared to figure things out on your own. (My grandkids told their Mom, "..it was alright, but not great"). What a day.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 5, 2023
I read the reviews of this place and was a little bit concerned about going there with my grandson but it was a really nice experience. The games were enjoyable and entertaining. We also batted in the cage, rode go carts, and enjoyed riding on the "Scrambler". The staff was very friendly and helpful and the place was very clean and welcoming. I recommend this place for a little something different and special.

The Manager Nick was very unprofessional when talking to me and my 10 year old daughter. He didn't help me with anything I asked. Not only that but he decided to give unhelpful information but also unnecessary comments. He gave off a rude attitude. I was trying to get some clarity about one of the inside rides, "twist n shout"; that looked uncomfortable and unsafe for children. I decided to take it upon me and other parents to tell the manager for the safety of our children. He proceeded to say that he would deal with it but decided to push away the thought and left without any care. The man went back onto his phone and left not coming back. We had left a while later. FunLand is exposed to be fun not unsafe and managed by rude staff.

For a small amusement park Fun Land delivers big fun. The three tier go kart track was a big hit even with the teens and adults on our recent visit for a birthday outing. Laser tag was another hit with all generations. Indoor attractions include a good sized arcade plus indoor bumper cars and roller coaster, nine pins bowling, rock walls to climb and an overhead climbing course - all of which are great for those cold winter days. Outdoors there is the big go kart course, a mini go kart lap track for the kiddies, spinning tea cups, a big drop, scrambler, giant sack racer slide and more - most of these outdoor attractions are only open during sunny dry weather so call ahead if you're only going for one or two attractions to make sure they will be open. Special note: a drivers license is required to operate the big go karts although children can ride along as passengers. Overall, a local amusement park doesn't get much better. Friendly staff and pay as you go reloadable cards make it easy to stick to your budget. Lots of free parking.

Let me just say that I took my family here for the first time and we spent a lot of money to only use half of the machines. There was only 1 batting cage out of 6 that was working. The Go Karts were not opened at all. My wife and I went to play on the basketball arcades and only 1 out of 5 of them actually work and the one that did work would only take our wristband some of the time. Most of them don't take score when you make baskets. The rides were shutdown. Two out of the 6 bowling lanes were not working and the laser tag was closed. Half of the arcade games were inoperable. It seems like only teenagers work there, nothing wrong with that; however, that is probably why none of the machines are working. When you pay as much as we did, you would expect the main attractions (Go Karts, batting cage and laser tag) to be open. 2/19/24

I paid for a party package which allows you two hours in a room I walked in the room and they had plates and cups laid out but if you have your own theme you will have to change it yourself and the website says you will have a host but all the host does is ask what time you want your pizza and drinks in the beginnings and either give you wrist bands or gives them out but other than that you are on your own gathering kids and serving food etc

So first off before I destroy this business, bless the young manager's heart. She was as helpful as she could be, there was nothing that could be done in the moment really as the problems we encountered were due to poor planning by upper management concerning their contract for machine repairs.
I did go to the young manager and tell her that my card wasn't really any good because there were no games to play. I had spent $29 of a $60 card. So she gave me a refund for the amount left on the card but said I had to forfeit my points. Okay whatever: Then? my kid at least tries to use the rest of her card and game after game would take payment and nothing would happen. This could be an amazingly run operation with the proper service structure in place, but as is, they need to find a different company that will keep their games running since they are supposed to be an arcade.
I would highly recommend hiring a business consultant in order to fix the operational issue that could be so easily fixed if managed properly.
Edit:
We ended up getting the points back. The staff is super nice, but again, they need to audit their operations......Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Leah C.Fredericksburg, VA055Jul 9, 2023
We paid $180 for three people to get wristbands that were supposed to be good for inside and outside and most things. The only thing we got to do outside was miniature golf, and then there was a few sprinkles, so they closed everything outside down. Then when we went inside to play the video games, pretty much every other one was broken so the friends could not even do a motorcycle next to each other etc. I have never been here when that many things were out of order we wanted to do the bumper cars and rang for an attendant, but no one ever came. I do not recommend this place I will not be going back ever at this cost. We should be entitled to some sort of reimbursement. I understand you can't control the weather, but that is a very steep price for barely getting to play any of the inside games as well.
