I went to CCFAA (the Independence Medical Park location, on Capitol) for treatment of a terribly painful ingrown nail, and saw Dr. Liao, who I couldn't recommend more highly! His bedside manner is very pleasant, he explained the condition and available treatments, walked me through the procedure ahead of time, kept me distracted during the most painful part of the procedure (the numbing shots), and went over follow-up care very thoroughly. In addition, the support staff (receptionists, nurses) were excellent, very efficient and friendly. Check in to check out only took ~1 hour. Very satisfied, will definitely return if I have future issues arise.

From screening prior to the appointment to the care of the staff and physician during my stay there , I felt safe from Covid 19 exposure.

I was confused about my appointment time and was late. I experienced the most pleasant and appropriate chiding I could expect which left me totally pleased for their maintained standards to provide timely care for others, yet afforded me forgiveness and grace for my mistake.

My painful problem was rapidly diagnosed with the aid of onsite X-ray equipment. The therapy provided me rapid pain relief.

I have had.no problem acquiring timely appointments for initial and follow up care. The staff were very friendly and behaved with notable professionalism .

I'll go back readily if other problems occur.

I have always visited the location on Capitol Street in Durham. Dr. Sotelo is the best ever! He thoroughly explains all that he is going to do before he does it as well as explains the treatment plan. If surgery is warranted he assures you that he will take his time, as he takes pride in what he does and wants the patient to be comfortable and happy. His bedside manner is one that is off the charts, as he is very attentive and answers each and every question that you may have. He does not rush your appointment time and he is always available if you have questions. He even gives patients his cell phone number! How many doctors do that? I highly recommend him to anyone who is having any type of foot problems.

Both my young teen daughter and I have seen Dr Liao. We were both very pleased with his bedside manner. He spent plenty of time with each of us to really understand the problem and make a diagnosis. He then spent lots of time explaining the cause of the issue(s) and treatment options. We've both been very satisfied with the care and treatment and will happily recommend him to anyone seeking an excellent podiatrist.

Dr. Sotelo was very helpful explaining arthritis and more and giving recommendations for foot health.

Great place to come when you drop your bed on your toe in the middle of the night

Don't appreciate spending $800 for custom orthotics that if anything made my feet hurt worse. What a racket! No wonder insurance/Medicare won't cover them. Good riddance!
