Cedar Creek Inn Brea is pleasingly open and spacious with colorful patios and classic decor enhanced by high beam ceilings and craftsman style architecture. The menu is designed to appeal to all generations, making it a popular dining spot for young professionals, couples and families. More than a destination at which to enjoy fine food, wine and spirits, the Brea location has evolved as North County's entertainment choice. We offer a variety of live entertainment by veteran performers Wednesday - Saturday starting at 7:00 PM. Come enjoy delicious cuisine, complimented by Cedar Creek's tradition of superior service. We serve a fantastic weekend brunch, with offerings such as a Crab & Scallop Cake Benedict, Banana Macadamia Nut French Toast, Lemon Pancakes, and Monte Cristo Sandwich. Our Ahi Salad, Seafood Fettuccine, and Cedar Creek Supreme Burger are all popular on our lunch menu. For dinner, try and decide between our Cedar Plank Salmon, Rack of Lamb, and Prime Rib.

We usually go to the Summit House every year in December due to the season & Christmas time festivities. We were informed by a friend that the Cedar Creek Inn located in Brea, CA was a better deal with better food & ambience.
I must say, this restaurant was not what we expected. The food was not worth the $$ that we paid for. The portions were below average (small) and the food wasn't all that great. I ordered soup for starters and I was given a tiny cup resembling a child sized portion. I really thought they would give adults a "bowl" of soup.
The main meal was also very small and the food presentation on my plate was sloppy. The waiter scrambled to get orders turned in to the cook in a timely manner. We had to ask several times for drink refills, only to be continually let down.
Unlike the Summit House, there were no Christmas carolers singing at the tables, minimal Christmas decorations, and not.much to look at. I was disappointed and I believe this restaurant missed the mark delivering their product during this time of year.
I give 2 stars because I believe there is room for improvement. Provide adults with adult size portions. Don't skimp on your product, and bring some good Ole fashioned Christmas cheer into your restaurant like your nearby competitors are providing. The food should be tasty, well presented, and prepared in a timely manner. The employees should work as a team when serving customers.
Please take this review seriously and please make the necessary changes so this type of visit doesn't repeat itself with other customers in the future. Thank you for your time.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Edgar G.South El Monte, CA061Apr 22, 2024

This was likely my 10th time dining at Cedar Creek.
It's like hitting the trifecta: the food is outstanding, the service is attentive, and the ambience is romantic.
Whether relaxing in the lounge/bar area or the more formal dining room, you're sure to enjoy savory dishes, assorted cocktails, and even live music on select evenings.
My favorite entree is the Land & Sea.
For desert, you can never go wrong with the Creme Brulee or Coconut Cake.
As a side, the french styled green beans and asparagus hit the mark every time.
I adore their Malbec too!
Whether it's date night, a solo splurge, or celebrating with others, look no further than CC.Helpful 2Thanks 2Love this 3Oh no 0 - Apr 19, 20242 check-ins
This is a nice hidden gem in Brea off 57/ Lambert. We took our elderly parents here for their Anniversary. This seems like the hotspot for seniors in the area, and i know why! The food is amazing! This was our 3rd time here and they have not disappointed. They have an amazing selection of Napa wines also, but we brought a special bottle of our own. The corkage fee is 25.00. Service was great and the garlic bread they bring out is so good. The fried calamari appetizer was the most tender I've ever had ordered a New York strip and it was cooked medium rare to perfection. It has a quiet atmosphere with booth and table seating. My dessert was a triple layer chocolate cake that was so moist and chocolaty. It paired perfectly with the last of my Zinfandel. Must try if you are in the area!

Came here for some delicious dinner. Cedar Creek Inn is located in Brea (Orange County). It's an upper scale restaurant with decent pricing on which I do like. Not everyone can afford a very expensive meal at an upscale restaurant. Heck, they even have 3 course meal at very reasonable price after 4pm Monday - Thursday.
I opted for the Caesar Salad (First Course), Lobster Spaghettini (Main Course), and Triple Layer Chocolate Cake with Ice Cream. And for drink, I got a glass of Lemon Drop.
Not too much to say about the salad, but it's good. Lobster Spaghettini.... they use 5oz Australian lobster tail. Lobster has a great taste to it, spaghettini and the sauce was on point. Excellent flavor to it.
Triple Layer Chocolate Cake is so tasty and delightful. Heavenly good.
$39 for the three course meal I ordered. Not too bad. $15 for a Lemon Drop which btw is delicious.
Service here was excellent. Garrett was very helpful. Great guy he is. He made sure my experience here was amazing. I will definitely be back at this restaurant again soon. Don't know when, but I'll be trying some more food here.

This place is bitter sweet for me. I came here few times with my adopted grandparents and earlier in October was the last time I dined here with my grandpa. He passed away shortly after... My grandparents love eating here, especially during their HH. Grandma said they also do a great Thanksgiving dinner here and they are usually booked up super fast. I think all their Thanksgiving dinner meal spots were booked few hours after it was released.
On Fridays (and also weekends) they have live music, a nice live band while you dine. They have a great selections on their HH menu, most people come for the HH menu I think, though some of their entrees are pretty good. I would come here again in the future and I would recommend this place.Helpful 7Thanks 1Love this 5Oh no 1 - Feb 25, 2024Updated review9 check-ins
As always the good service and food were both there. Daughter got the star meal today by ordering the seafood pasta dish. It would have been quite good as menu'd but she switched to angel hair pasta and then switched to all shrimp instead of shrimp and scallops. SHE LOVED IT. Shrimp was properly cooked being tender, not rubbery. I had the fish and chips and was quite pleased with how tender and flaky the fish was. Never disappointed there
Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jan 31, 2022Previous reviewThis time was fabulous. Seres in the back patio and was a little concerned but it was shielded and heated and quite nice after sitting. We had Filet, fish and chips and the seafood salad and were all pleased. The two filet medallions were exactly the temp ordered. The fish and chips were moist on the inside crunchy on the outside and did not have that saturated in oil issue you find in many places from being cooked at the wrong temp. The seafood salad was a home run with the scallops tender, shrimp appropriately prepared to NOT be rubbery and the crab plentiful. LOVED the pickled cucumbers and asparagus. Went with ranch instead of thousand island dressing and very pleased with this ranch recipe.

Good old Cedar Creek Inn. I have been coming here for over 20 years now, and though their menu (and possibly owners/management, & chefs) has changed a few times over the years, the food, service, culture, and ambiance have consistently been great. Easy parking, too! Come for breakfast/brunch, lunch, or dinner; you won't be disappointed and I'm sure you'll always find satisfying selections to choose from! The reason for 4 stars: I don't really have any major complaints except for the 3% CC processing fee I've seen (for Amex cards, at least) and the fact that the restaurant isn't mind-blowing fantastic by any means, but conclusively, it's a nice place to go to with predictably good fare and nice servers. It's also quite easy to make reservations.
