Years ago, I remember thinking it would be cool to turn one of those old vacuum tube bank drive through kiosks into an espresso stand. Well, it's been done, albeit without functional vacuum tubes (that would be SO awesome! And messy!)

Though not quite my rocket-age Jetson's dream come true, Cascade Grind serves up good ol' Seattle-style drive through espresso and nibbles, at a very reasonable price. $3.50 for a double tall mocha? Whoa, did we just step back to 1995?

I heartily support this small business and it's spunky, DIY ethic, and so should you! It's this kind of business that makes the NW great; folks working with what's around them, taking something old, giving it a spin and making it work. Involved in a tech start-up? Do yourself a karmic favor and get your coffee here, where fellow entrepreneurs are making it happen.

      They have oat milkkkkkkkkk!

As a lactose-intolerant person, this place is a lifesaver! Their food options will do in a pinch, but the coffee is second to none.

Great local drive though, and the baristas are so friendly. They will literally customize any drink you want, and do so very well!

Inexpensive, tasty and great service, all I need for a great coffee experience!

The checklist of a great coffee / tea / morning drink place:

      [ x ] Drive through
      [ x ] Accepts walk-ups
      [ x ] Fast service
[ x ] Friendly staff, that remember who you are and what you order
      [ x ] Wide selection of drinks
[ x ] Able to customize drinks easily
      [ x ] Variety of drink sizes, including a few non-standard ones (24 ounce)
[ x ] Variety of options for shots in said drinks
      [ x ] Cheap

I could go on with items that Cascade Grind has, but the gist of it is, this is a local owned and operated coffee / drink shop that has the best service in Redmond. It is built in on part of an old bank drive through, so the building may look a little odd, but the service is first class and the selection second to none.

Waiting for coffee in the morning.

Cascade Grind is amazing! My dog has fallen in love with the owner and would never allow me to buy coffee anywhere else. Not that I did want to, because their drinks are delicious and are reasonably priced as well.

Support a wonderful, locally owned coffee place! Thank you Cascade Grind!

Mommy and I try to make a stop here in the morning, even when she says we're late for work. She likes getting soy vanilla lattes. We both like the human that works there every time we see her. She's so nice and she gives me little dog treats! She's a nice human. And mommy says she loves her coffee there.

Mexican Mocha and a 24 oz to go cup! Shana almost always has my order prepared by the time I get there, friendly and fast! Plus drive or walk-through, punch cards, plus I love to support small businesses.

And there's always a cookie for my dog!

Pretty sure this is the best coffee in all of Redmond. No joke. Their baristas are insanely nice, always remember me and my regular order, and shower my dog with treats when we bring her. Plus you can't beat the prices.

Mexican mocha is my go to drink of choice but I have several friends who regularly visit this place and say they've never had a bad drink.

This stand is located inside an old drive thru bank teller. It's not the most convenient stand to get into but it's close to my work near downtown Redmond. (You have to cross the double line, drive through a raggedy Chinese restaurant parking lot, then around to the drive-thru window.) The espresso drinks are pretty good. The baristas are nice. Unfortunately, they don't adhere to their posted hours of operation. Many Saturdays I've attempted to get coffee before work and they are already closed at 3 in the afternoon. This has happened at least a dozen times. I understand that circumstances take place which may cause a need to close early but it's way too often at this particular coffee stand.

I LOVE this place! They are always super friendly and polite and I love their Aztec Mocha's. Their breakfast sandwiches are also stellar.

It's fun to walk up on the weekends and head to the bike trail.
