Carter's Electric Service

I called this business today, and my electrical problem was DIAGNOSED and SOLVED over the phone! At no cost to me! Yes, this guy could've come out and charged me like a lot of other electricians might have done, but he didn't, and was very kind and patient walking me through the fix.

I think it's important to give a shout out to those truly honest and helpful people out there ... so here's a big SHOUT OUT to Carter's Electric!

I called Matt on Thanksgiving weekend with a problem re: my kitchen power. He asked me a few questions, then recommended a fix that I could do myself.
I tried it and the problem was fixed. Matt could have come to my house and charged me for the job. I really appreciate his help and his great attitude and I will be sure to use his service the next time I actually need an electrician.

When the original electrician I reached out to for our A/C installation flaked, I got in contact with Matt. Although he was busy (as are all his colleagues these days) he made time for us and worked with our A/C team. His job included running wire the length of the house. He was ingenious in figuring out how to do this unobtrusively. (Wish the AT&T guys had even half of Matt's cleverness.) I would have no hesitation in getting in touch with Matt again the next time we need an electrician. He was responsive and helpful, answering my questions and providing insights.

Matt is an excellent electrician. He has done many custom jobs for us on our home, as well as basic jobs. He also knows all about construction and cabinetry. He has problem-solved many issues for us, and even though he is very busy, he is flexible with his time. He has put in exotic light fixtures, BBQ equipment electricals, LED lighting under our quartzite kitchen counter, etc. I highly recommend Matt and Carter's Electric Service.

Wow!! Very responsive and pinpointed the problem and took care of it right away. Our double oven wasn't working because of some electrical issues. My husband called Carters electric and he got a call back that afternoon. He came out later that afternoon and fixed it no problem!!

Matt is a great electrician and always fairly priced. He takes the time to explain things and makes different suggestions based on his experience with other clients and what you want to accomplish. He is not rushed and even finds time to do little extra things that are not part of the scope of work you hire him to do. Highly recommended.

I was in a pinch while working with my contractor on a project. After demo'ing a wall, a bunch of electric work needed to be rewired (according to my contractor). I found Matt on yelp and called him right away. Matt was extremely helpful and attentive via phone and text; he answered questions and suggested tips to the contractor that ultimately saved a bunch of time/expenses, and in the end, a bunch of electric work was no longer needed. Even more awesome is he checked on me later in the day. Matt gets five stars for his work ethic, attentiveness, and going above and beyond to lend a helping hand.
