First, I want to say that my Husband and I frequent Carrabba's on what's become a weekly basis, and each time we are there we are greeted and served our first beverages by a wonderful server by the name of Tayvan. He has consistently been very helpful, efficient, and personable.
The ambience of the restaurant is very pleasant and the food has consistently been excellent. They do the best they can to accommodate your seating preferences, which is much appreciated.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sep 22, 2023Updated review
We go to Carrabba's quite a bit. I do wish there were more vegetarian options. But everything is always excellent. Chicken soup is a stand-out for those who eat chicken. It's a shame they don't have minestrone anymore but a second meat filled soup instead.
Staff is super friendly and kind but stay away from the bar late afternoon / early evening. The lady's unhappiness exudes throughout. I avoid the bar at that time at all costs and will dine elsewhere (as in a different establishment instead) - she's that bad.
Aside from that sour puss and not enough veg options, it's a place to get quality food, good service and consistency. Plus that $10 take home special and their dining rewards program is great,Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Dec 23, 2018Previous reviewWow Carrabba's got noticeably much more expensive in the past couple weeks with their new winter menu. Now, if the quality were fully there, instead of lackluster bread and such, and the accoutrements of finer dining were present, such as having the fresh whipped cream advertised on your menu actually available, then you deserve the higher prices. But, under the present circumstances, it's like putting lipstick on a pig. You are not Cheesecake Factory banging out high quality consistency so stop trying to grow too big for your britches.
Feb 2, 2017Previous reviewI'm over Carrabas. As a vegetarian, forget it. There's a couple dishes to sustain you during your first or second visit or maybe even third visit, but after that, go elsewhere. There is no reason whatsoever they can not offer one proper meat free entree under pastas. No, I do not want to pick something and exclude the meat. Simply offer one fully vegetarian option there. Would it be so hard? Eggplant parm would be easy enough. You do offer other part type dishes.
Oh and on this last visit, the waitress in the bar who's quite popular who wore her hair up with flowers, was perturbed she might miss out on her tip when we switched seats, brought out two cold soups and replied, "I only work here", when I commented on the lack of vegetarian options.
Bye bye Carrabas. You had a nice little run. Don't be like the grocery store chains who only got on board the organic train when it was too late.Jan 30, 2017Previous reviewI'm over Carrabas. Nov 24, 2014Previous reviewA chain establishment would normally never ever get a 4 from me. But I have got to say, Carrabba's is great each and every time I go.
Their wine list is extensive and always has an option to my liking. Plus, they offer the quartino size, like a glass and a half, which is my ideal portion size of wine.
The appetizers, pizzas and entrees are great. They took the time to put the goat cheese bruschetta appetizer spread in a lovely little jar. The last time I saw that presentation was at the upscale State Road restaurant on Martha's Vineyard.
Fresh, warm bread with a nice olive oil and herb dip is always lovely and welcome.
The margherita pizza was absolutely delicious with a thin crust. Now it wasn't an Eataly pizza but it was pretty darn close.
I am loving the Mahi entree that is new to their menu. In fact, I keep craving it and return to order again and again.
My beau got the fried ravioli dish which was good but much too heavy. Oh, on the pasta options, the Tic Tac - or some similar named dish - is excellent. It's angel hair pasta with a light, fresh tomato and basil sauce.
Desserts are ok - more sugary than necessary. The trio is a nice way to sample more than one for only $9. The chocolate cream pie was a stand out. TIramisu not so much. It had too much of a liquor taste. - Rick R.Summerfield, FL02Apr 22, 2024
Last week my wife and I arrived at Carrabba's on Thursday at about 3:45 with my 89 year old Aunt and her partner. There were 2 people at the bar, and 3 tables seated, (one table of 6 and 2 tables of 2). There was nobody waiting to be seated. We were greeted by a hostess that barely made eye contact and told us that there would be a short wait. We sat waiting about 6 feet from the hostess, who seemed bored and completely ignored us. 20 minutes later I nicely asked her "What exactly are we waiting for, and how much longer?" By now there were 3 groups waiting behind us. She shrugged her shoulders ( again with no eye contact) and said " We have only one server, I don't know how long". At 30 minutes we were discussing our options as an unkempt man with loose greasy hair down to his shoulders, and thong style slippers with no socks walked out of the kitchen. That did it for me. We left and will NEVER return. Worst customer service ever!!!!

Always delicious. The staff were great and this one runs well. I'm actually not sure why they have such a rating. They should be just around 4.5-5 stars.

We came here for a staff wives dinner. Really enjoyed the food. The lentil sausage soup was amazing!!! The entree that I got was very flavorful as well. Portion was good enough to half and bring it home to enjoy again the next day for lunch! The Ambiance was quiet and comfortable. A little too dark of a dining room for my taste. Comfortable non the less.
Thank you for a good experience.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - W S.Mount Dora, FL14239119Dec 14, 2023Updated review
Sam is an awesome server. She always takes care of us and knows to bring the extra cheese. Carrabba's is a good reliable Italian restaurant. Yum!

Just wanted to write this review to call out a server we had tonight. Nicole was inconsiderate, absent, and spoke with a tone that I just was not a fan of. Some people just shouldn't be servers!
Anyways we love this restaurant and usually have a great experience with wonderful food its a shame they have someone like Nicole working for them and putting a bad impression on their restaurant.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Billy R.Newark, NJ43734Mar 28, 2024
My wife and I went for a late lunch. Waited for the hostess to arrive. Nothing remarkable there. CJ our server arrived with a cheerful smile, took our drink orders. My wife throughly enjoyed the lamb and I had the spring salad with chicken, awesome. CJ was attentive and efficient

They have still not responded to my complaint so I plan to enter sane complaint every week until they respond in a meaningful manner. I'm also going to track down the CEO because now its about disrespect and simple BS,
Im thinking about printing this out and handing it to everyone who parks their car there on Friday and Saturday evenings FREE Speeach coming !!Aug 9, 2023Previous reviewI would give them a zero it was an option.
We stopped in on Monday 8/7 around 6pm. We were immediately seated and that was it. The place was very empty but we waited 15-20 minutes for a server to even say "I'll be with you shortly"Â but no t one of the servers who walked by us said a word. There were plenty of servers t handle the low volume so "short staffed" not relevant.
We got up to leave and asked to see the manager on duty and made our complaint know. We waited another 5-7 minutes and no manager appeared so we walked out even more disgusted.
Your hostess, the server who failed to even bring a glass of water and the manager who would not even speak with us all need disciplinary action or dismissal in my opinion.

We make great Italian food at home so when we're out and need a bite, we usually opt for another genre of food. However, after nonexistent service at a local sushi spot, we were craving the warm, relaxing ambiance we usually find at Carrabba's.
The hostess (who would have been our server) was quick, friendly, and accommodating, but the music was off the mark: fast tempo and a voice that at heights hit like nails on a chalkboard. Our server said it was piped in from corporate but the Ocala location (as of last week) plays an altogether different type of tunes. She did offer twice to turn it down but since we were mostly there for the relaxing vibe, we sought another option.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information
