What a complete mess. I ordered a 3 piece fish meal. Got 3 pieces of fish and was told I didn't ask for fries, Cole slaw and hush puppies. Asked the employees "what comes with a meal?" They could tell me. Took so long to hush-puppies, fries and Cole slaw that I just gave up. Paid $15 for three pieces of fish. I will never return. Belleville is a ghetto.

I love this place all of the Capt ds are wonderful I love Fairview heights IL n Belleville IL is assume too nice manager s great n caring people you can not go wrong coming here I go there and ask for my order to be fresh ok they say I might have to wait a little longer but it is worth it. So everyone go to captain ds you can't go wrong. I love you guys. Keep up the good work I'll b back.

Was cold, ordered the shrimp & fish was not done completely, haven't had it in20 years will be 20 years b4 I try it again.

I'm a Long Johns fan but LJ is on the other side of town from me so I gave captain D's a shot. This is a worthy opponent for LJ!!
I couldn't decide what to get so I got the sampler and boy was I happy. I love that the customer service was on point when I walked in all the way thru to ordering, I didn't feel rushed into ordering and was given time to look at the menu to decide. I asked about the Mac & cheese because it varies from place to place BUT dang this Mac & cheese was so darn good next time I'll order extra! Instead of lemon in a little prepackaged thing I was brought out fresh lemon slices and it was a good amount for my mean not 2 slivers like other places give. This is going to be my go to from here & out unless I find a better fried seafood place but between great customer service, this visits food hitting the spot and knowing there a Spicy option I'll keep returning.
My only bad mention is that the tables weren't wiped after each guest so I picked a table with less crumbs and used a napkin to wipe it down but that wouldn't deter me nor keep me from recommending

Puppies were hushed with care and flaky crumbs from the fish were everywhere. I haven't had Captain D's in a long time and was craving my seafood sample fix. Had the mentioned sampler with chicken strips (seafood?), white fish, hush puppies and butterfly shrimp and it all was cooked well. They have 5 dips for dipping and the staff there is friendly as can be. I will definitely be back again soon. Thanks for the great lunch experience.

Worst stop for Dinner in last few years. At 1 hour and no food ask for refund and while getting it they said oh here is your food if you want to stay

No offer to pack to go or anything was put back in window, but what was on tray was not even all items!

Then ask for original receipt as it had a Dist managers name and phone on it, they didn't want to let me have it and resisted, took it anyway.

Pretty good fast food fish place. Their oil they use seems very fresh and the food is very tasty. Pretty cheap meals as well.

Cold,old and tasteless.... breading on fish was not normal, fish was gooey and the hushpuppy were solid ping pong balls... last time i go here.. tried this location few months ago and it was horrible and the food was tasteless... 1 star is to much... beware

They are trying to bring out multiple meals at once and getting everyone's orders wrong. Short staffed. Employees also not wearing masks or gloves while handling your food. You sit for an hour and wait for food and when it comes out it's the wrong order.
