Ramon Bones in sales was the MVP during the recent purchase of not one but TWO new Subarus!
He scouted out JUST the exact car I wanted in my 2024 Outback TouringXT. And my husband is so in LOVE with his new Crosstrek, I'm starting to call her "the other woman in his life."
These cars practically drive themselves!
Natalie in finance efficiently and clearly explained all the paperwork.. and there was a lot so that's no small task.
If you're interested in a new Subaru or any of the pre owned cars they have and you want an honest, transparent and professional salesman talk to Ramon, and tell him the Laymans sent you!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sienna P.Delray Beach, FL14127Aug 17, 2023
0 stars if I could. Every time I've come here I've had issues. For both subaru and Hyundai.
My husband recently just brought his Hyundai in here for work and nothing happened. His car sat on the lot for THREE MONTHS. They didn't even asses the issue on his car for THREE MONTHS, then the estimated time for work was 2-4 weeks after that.
We brought it elsewhere (a small local shop) that fixed it in a week and for SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper.
The staff wasn't helpful, no one apologized for the lengthy time frame. No one seemed to care that it was taking so long and there was always a new excuse.
In total we spent $500 to tow his car to and from the dealership, hours of time/phone calls/visits, all for nothing to even happen here.
I've brought my Subaru here for maintenance before as well and there are always issues. Between not letting me know a part was in, forgetting I scheduled an appointment and not properly checking my warranty.
They wanted to charge me for a part that was covered??
They're unorganized, slow, and don't seem to have a good grip on what they're doing. I get maybe they're low on staff but the LEAST the current staff can do is be realistic with time frames, apologetic for lengthy wait times, and properly check pricing/coverage/etc.
If we ever need service again we will be going to local shops or a subaru/hyundai dealership elsewhere.
I highly reccomend going ANYWHERE besides this place.
They need to get it together and figure out staff situations/how to handle situations quickly.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - John G.The Triad, NC01Jan 22, 2024
Bought a used car from them at Christmas for my daughter. Salesperson barely spoke to us when we went to pick up the car. Finance manager was more pleasant. Haven't heard one thing from them since buying the car two days before Christmas. Most dealerships follow up to see how the car is doing. Never going back there. Customer service was bad.

Took Subaru in for some repairs. Gave me a quote which I accepted price. Around $500. Picked up car and they added on around $50 shop supplies
charge. That is not acceptable. Be Aware!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mike F.Greensboro, NC313Sep 11, 2022
Well we bought a car from them 3 years ago no problem everything was good.
Went yesterday to purchase another new outback drove several cars salesman was friendly and nice however when we thought about doing a deal it was brought to our attention that the invoice was just the beginning of the price they wanted to tack on an additional $3500 for air in the tire and a protection plan that doesn't cover anything basically they just wanted to overcharge for the vehicle no one else in the area does this so I can't say that that's a fair deal and we will have to take our business elsewhere.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mark B.Jamestown, NC044Feb 10, 2023
Wife had coupon for $59 wash and wax. When she picked it up, inside was not done and doors were not wiped out. They informed her the inside wasn't included. They also charged $14 for "shop supplies," so with tax ~ $80 for exterior wash and wax
Great coupon?Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kim C.FL, FL71Jul 27, 2023
I picked up a fleet car from them. The sales manager helped me. Once I signed the paperwork so he could get his money, he was done with me. He never even opened the car door to show me anything about the car. I'm a sales rep and had a car full that I needed to move into the new car. It was 100 degrees at the time. So I asked if there was a cooler place that I might could go to move all the stuff from one car to the new car, ex in service area but he said no. So for 45 minutes I was in their parking lot moving stuff from one car to the new car. He sat in the air condition behind the glass window and watched an older woman in a dress move stuff including heavy boxes for approximately 45 minutes and never offered to help at all.
Also, the car had absolutely no fuel in it, not even one bar.
But I called out corporate office and told our fleet person how I was treated. He said they would remove them from our list of dealers to get fleet cars from.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - T F.Greensboro, NC01Aug 21, 2023
I could not be happier with my experience at Capital Subaru. Superb service and I am pleased with the car I purchased.

This was a strange car buying experience. They initially gave a low offer for a trade-in. That was adjusted later. Communication with this location is not good. A lot of room for improvement in a lot of areas.
After finalizing the purchase, I was given someone else's paperwork. I didn't notice until I tried to set up the insurance the next day.
They were accommodating in some areas, and made attempts to correct their faults.
Managing expectations is an important part of purchasing a new vehicle. It's all about profits for them, so have that expectation. Dollars and cents.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
