Candy is a highly experienced eyelash beautician. I was extremely happy with the lash extensions I got. I got so many complements on my lashes. Candy is patient and gentle and the whole experience was extremely relaxing. My lashes stayed on more than 3 weeks. Definitely recommend and would come back again!

I purchase an eyelash extension package on groupon for around $50 ( the normal price stated on their flyer Ian $330 and now it's $138). When I arrived I was told I needed to pay an additional fee on top because I purchase through Groupon. Usually I get 14 mm and when I told the lady she tried to convince me to get 8mm instead. My natural lashes are around the same length. This was the fastest my eyelash has ever been done and the worst. She finished within 30 minutes. The finish result were far from satisfying. The set was sparse and incomplete. My lashes were not even properly prepped. Adding on during the session, her hands smells like oranges so I doubt she washed her hands because when I came in she was eating an orange. Will not be returning.

I purchased a Groupon for a gel manicure. After reading the reviews and seeing the constant complaints about the wait time, I called TWICE to confirm my 12:30 PM appointment and made it clear that I was going to be on my lunch break. I still ended up waiting 20 minutes before the woman showed up to do my nails.
The salon is a bit small. They played soft soothing music, which was nice and relaxing. My nails did not come out perfect but the lady took her time, without taking forever, and I appreciated it. I would come back again if I purchased another Groupon.

BEST EYELASH SERVICE IN NYC, I have been going bi weekly for years. I moved to Brooklyn and travel all the way to the city to get my lashes done here. Great service. Affordable pricing! They often have a lot of availability just call. They have Covid measures- contact tracing, masks required & they sanitize your shoes & take your temperature on arrival. Not over doing it but it feels safe!! Love love love candy spa ‍

I would give them -1 stars if I could. Came in excited for these lashes since a friend had recommended them. While talking to the front desk seemed very knowledgeable about the lashes and introduced me to the technician. I had told them I have sensitive eyes and she said they would use a sensitive glue on me. I felt fine for the first 30min of application, after for the next hour my eyes started to feel hot and irritated. Every time she went to attach a lash it felt like I was being stabbed with a needle.
Once I told her I needed to stop the lady at the front desk tried to rush me out ignoring my questions and complaints that my eyes didn't feel right. She also said there was an extra $21 fee for tax and tip.

The next day I woke up and my eyes felt swollen but was happy to have my lashes back. By the end of the day I had to call the salon and leave a message saying that they needed to be removed. When nobody called me back I tried again the next day and they said they could fit me in for a removal. I showed up and was greeted by a different woman an the front desk who was much nicer and after seeing my eyes said they wouldn't charge me for the removal (thanks). The new technician was much more careful and said that the lashes were attached too close to my lid and there was too much glue. She removed all the lashes and gave me an ointment to put on my swollen lids. They offered me a free lash service if I wanted to try again with their silk lashes but no refund. I am too scarred to come back for lashes here again.

After stopping by today I have gotten a refund from the salon and Groupon but am scared for other people to try because it has been 5 days and my lids are still vey swollen, red, itchy, and dry.

I love lash extensions and being in the city you pay so much money to keep up with it, but ever since I found candy spa I love getting my lashes done and I don't pay a fortune! Their prices are so reasonable and they help you map out what look you want with your eyes! Very welcoming and are very attentive!

I first came upon this eyelash studio with a Groupon. I was looking for a good place for eyelash extensions for a photo shoot. I am so glad that I found this place!
Reception is friendly and the establishment is clean. The options for eyelashes are great and fit the needs for extravagant to natural looking lash extensions. My technician took her time applying my lashes and continually checked in for my comfort. Upon finishing the process about 1.5 hours for a fresh set, she checked in with me to ensure I was happy with the final product, which I was. I paid an additional $3 tax for the groupon. The prices for the refills are staggered from 1- 4 weeks with moderate prices.
The card with lash information is also super handy to keep the same style without having to restart the whole process.

So disappointed. I've been having my lash extensions done religiously at Candy Spa for over two years.

Every time I went in, they were redecorating and remodeling, apparently investing money into Candy Spa.

Last time I went in, I discovered that they had raised the prices through the roof. Close to 30%?

I showed up for my fill appointment which should have been $79 and the new price is $98.

They SHOULD have contacted clientele in advance, instead of having to find out when PAYING for new appointment that they are in the business of gouging clients.

Don't forget you also have to give an additional tip.

I have referred many people to Candy Spa, but it's time for a new salon.

Not bad. This place was clean and nice. I got a gel manicure here with my Groupon , they charged $3 tax as soon as you walk in. The lady I had seem to be new, she didn't provide a mat for my wrist/ arm so I had nothing to rest my arm on and was in pain half way thru so I asked if I could use the cushion for the seat next to mine and of course she said fine. The nail she cut and shaped was a little uneven so I had to tell her to even it out more. The color turn out really nice, coral pink color. There was construction going on so it was a bit noisy and I can see people getting their lash extensions. I wish there were a wall in between so they have their privacy and separate the nail area from the people getting facial/ lash extension area (it's just an open space layout).
