Pretty decent hotel I like the concept & idea of it being a studio/dormroom suite! & For the price it's not too bad. The customer service is very friendly and helpful.

I've been staying here for 7 straight weeks (minus the weekends) for business, and the longer I stay here the more my disgust grows. The ENTIRE hotel has a perpetual strange, dirty smell, and it's worse in the bedrooms. I have had 7 different suites by now and they all have a very strong smell to them that hits me each time I enter the room. By now it honestly makes me gag a little.
Everything is of questionable cleanliness - at first glance it looks decent, but as you settle in you begin to notice the gross stuff - stained sheets and towels, grime in the dishwasher and fridge, and especially dirty (and oftentimes sticky!!) carpet. Because of this, I don't trust the cleanliness of the dishes here and have resorted to purchasing and using plastic ones. Once I stayed in a suite with a mysterious milky white squirt stain on the curtain...
In any case, I'm begging my employer not to book me here anymore. Wouldn't recommend unless you're desperate.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lynn R.Newfane, VT0202Apr 23, 2018
I was going to stay for 2 nights, but when I returned after being out all day at the hospital (6 PM) I found our room had been partially cleaned. The bed had not been touched, they just picked up the dirty towels. I called the front desk and they said "sorry, I can offer you a free soda and snack" !!
The first night the room was very noisy and it was hard to get a good nights sleep. Not happy, did not want to spend the second night there, so they offered to only charge me $50.00 for the second night !! Really what did you do to warrant that?Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rob H.Atlanta, GA141320Jan 31, 2015
Been staying at this particular candlewood for a few years now. Front desk is ussualy very friendly and helpful. Van is always at the airport ontime to pick me up. Have had a few complaints here and there.. Mostly drafty a/c units, hot water issues, and rooms that smokers have used. I must say this stay is by far the worst. They room my wife and I stayed in looked clean at first glance, but was far from it. Carpet looks to not have seen a vacum in days. Pile of food under the bed. Some sort of crumbled cheetoos or something. The wife even found a half used bottle of hand sanitizer between the bed and nightstand. Just completely unacceptable!

This hotel fit the bill as far as cleanliness and comfort, though the room was a little small. Walking in to the hotel, I went into their lobby restroom and noticed how clean the light tan ceramic tile was BEFORE I tracked winter's salty muck onto it.
Our room was clean enough and the shower had the best water pressure I've experienced in years.
We asked for extra pillows and actually got them. The asking and getting someone to agree part typically goes well, but the follow through seems to be a challenge for some places.
Being in the genre of the "suites" hotel, the rooms do have a kitchenette and there was coffee and popcorn there, along with some pots, pans, plates and glasses for dining.
There is no continental breakfast or fruit bowl, but there is a little "Candlewood Cupboard" shop where you can purchase foodstuff. If you are looking for restaurant service or a bar, take the short walk to TGI Fridays.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jeff W.Pasadena, CA032Apr 27, 2015
My wife, 6 month old, and me stayed here for 4 nights. Our experience was very mixed. On the good side, the folks at the front desk were very helpful and pleasant. Our original room was a studio with a very small kitchenette. It was just too small for the three of us with a crib. Oddly, the large fake leather chair in the room at a foot long slash on the cushion, with the insides oozing out. I would not recommend that size room for more than one person. The bed is up against the wall on one side.
They were nice enough to put us into a one bedroom suite for the remaining three nights of our stay. It was much more spacious (though not as big as what you would find elsewhere for a one bedroom in this price range). There were a few problems with the room. The biggest one was that it had a very strong odor of Indian food, of all things. I felt like i was walking into the kitchen of an indian restaurant every time i entered the room. Very odd. I thought the odor would go away, but i guess it is 'impregnated' into the walls and carpets, as it never let up our entire stay. There were a few minor issues. the bathroom sink drain leaked. Also the dishwasher leaked. As far as the kitchen is concerned, don't plan on doing any real cooking. No oven. Very few pans/pots, and dishes. The microwave worked well.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mary M.Roscoe, IL3754Jun 8, 2018
I had a fabulous experience here. I was having a stressful day after spending the day at the hospital and couldn't get my app to work to make a reservation. The night staff were so helpful in resolving this problem and giving me help with essential shopping and restaurants recommendations! The room was spotless, and the SHOWER was the best I have EVER had in a hotel. I will definitely return....hopefully for pleasure next time.

Not a great place. The phone in my room took ages to get fixed. Some like Ryan were friendly but the manager was a pain. They even billed for stuff I had already paid for.
