Canal Bodywork - Doyers

Found this place on Groupon 2 years ago and have been a regular here since. They only charge $48 for a 1 hour body massage & unlike other places I've been to, they will DESTROY the knots in your body & put their whole ass body weight/elbows/strength into it!!!

Usually come here for 90 minute massage - 1hr on the traps/neck/shoulders where all my stress is stored and 30 minutes on the rest. ($70 for the massage + $20 tip - and YES please make sure you tip at least 20% of the cost of your massage!!! Bring cash too.) They have a loyalty card too where you can get a free massage after your 10th visit.

It's no frills so come with your expectations for decor and ambiance tempered but man if you ask them to go hard they will. Tried several places around Chinatown but Canal BodyWorks has been my favorite. Not to be dramatic but I always leave this place feeling like I can breathe better and the weight off my shoulders has been lifted.

Always the best! My friend and I have been coming here for years. Positive vibes and family owned. You don't really need an appoint but on busier days sometimes it is good to have one. Great customer service every time and friendly atmosphere.

Had a body massage done by Linda, it was deep tissue and really helped loosen my muscles. She was thorough for what my body needed and communicated if the pressure was okay for me throughout the massage.

My foot reflexology was done by Mr Chang, he was the best foot reflexologist I've ever had. Seriously. I get massages regularly at Chinese massage places, I've gotten many massages in Thailand & Taiwan and Mr chang has been the best!! I've been suffering with plantar fasciatis and he was hitting pressure points that relieved it so much. I went again the next day too!

Amazing massage place would definitely come here again. Cute spot and a great vibe. The masseuses are top notch

I absolutely loved my foot massage! :) I came to see the mural on the floor of Doyer's street and stumbled upon this place. I'm so glad I did since me and my family were tired from walking. Their prices are also very reasonable as well. It was $25 for 30 minutes and they had a $38 deal for a 45 min back massage and foot massage. The person who gave me a foot massage was so sweet as well! I would definitely come back because everyone was so nice and they were very hospitable and attentive as well.

Wonderful customer service from the moment I was standing outside reading the sign. A gentleman came out and greeted me in a friendly but not pushy way.
The place was super clean and comfortable and the massage was very professional and felt amazing.
I'll definitely be coming back soon.

There is no hot water to soak the feet, just massage the feet directly, and then no head, shoulders, arm massage, 60 minutes and only give us 45 minutes. So many excuses!!! Oil towels in the restroom!!!

I'm all for supporting local businesses but not the ones that hustles their customers.
It's $38 for one hour foot (45 min foot and 15 min neck and shoulders)

The masseuse was very lazy lol barely put strength

When it came down to paying though, they charged me extra $6 for tax. I never had to pay tax at other massage parlors and they don't give a receipt so I knew they were just doing it to get extra cash

Came in for 30 mins back massage with Tina. She is amazing! Love the oils and the hot stone. Will definitely come back again!
