The Taco Shop now as of today serves a Birria Pizza. This place has become my 3rd kitchen. The Pizza is legit. I was the first person to order it. Lucky me.
Tacos and burritos are always on point. The staff is awesome. It's just a really spot. Hungry almost Hungry it does not matter its always good.
Side note their french fries are worth the trip. Also they put real potatoes in their breakfast burritos, not the french fries so now you understand. legit.

No tipping here - why the owner turned off the ability to tip. As we all have to deal with those bully tip me 55% or I will shame you places. This place takes care of their staff. They just want you to come back. I can do that. Always

Because there are no bathrooms I can only see this place as a take it and go. I think a place that is serving you food you eat with your hands should also have a plave where you can wash your hands.
They have renovated and have new staff also they have a new policy. No longer do they have the food Challenge The 4lb Big Momma is there but it's just a menu item. That's too bad because that area needed a food challenge.
Napkins: this is like an ordeal here for some reason they hand them out like they are on a naughty list. I order to go so I get 1 in the bag but for others who dare to ask for one it's a very strange exchange. Especially since they don't have restrooms so if you do eat there you may wish to bring your own Supplies.
The wait is never long never even seen a line form. So that's good if you want to grab and go.

The California Burrito is my favorite. It's huge and feeds me for two meals. An honorable mention for their "HOT" green salsa-- I don't actually know what it's made of but it hurts so good.

I don't know what you been told, but I got somethin' to tell ya!!
Once again, back is the incredible! Some of my most sought after eats in town is none other than CTS, California Taco Shop. Why you might ask? Let me make a list for you:
1. The carne asada fries are bomb, and always come stuffed to the max.
2. The salsas, of which there are 5, are chalk full of flavor and 2 are pretty spicy, which I adore.
3. The beans and rice are on-point so the bean and rice burrito's smack.
3. The free bean and cheese burrito with a Yelp check-in. Oh yea, I need all dat ish.
4. The food is always served hot
5. The value/bang for your buck is just right!
6. The menu is inventive- you'll find things you might not see on menus elsewhere.
7. Lest I forget, the pickled onions and Serranos at the salsa bar are a must for me.
8. The rolled tacos are pretty dang good.
Oh and if you like menudo, they've got it 7 days a week!
Come on down, the PRICE IS RIGHT!

Unfortunately, regularly mislabeled burritos, and one REALLY bad apple at the front counter, forced me to go with a solid, solid 4 star rating.
What I love: They make kickass bean/rice and bean/cheese burritos! Yes, as others have mentioned, sometimes the cheese isn't fully melted. For me, that's not a problem because I always throw my burrito in the oven for 5-10 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. I do that just because I usually don't eat my burrito as soon as I get home. Anyway, their beans are really good, and so is their rice. I just wish that they consistently put more rice in the bean/rice burritos. Their rice is so good, it always leaves me wanting more in my burrito. The bean and rice burritos usually come in at about 1lb 3oz to 1lb 8oz- check my weigh-ins for the proof. Don't forget to use the check-in for a free bean and cheese burrito with a regular priced purchase.
What could use some improvement:
Look at some of the other negative reviews and you'll most definitely see mentions of "Maricela"...I can only imagine one reason they are still working here. I'm not going to make a ton of assumptions about them, but for ages my girlfriend and I separately hit this shop and receive MUCH different treatment from said apple. But now, it's even worse. On several occasions, my girlfriend has ordered a regular bean and cheese burrito, however, Maricela then tells the cook in Spanish to make it a Kids bean and cheese burrito. Whaaat!?!? Are you kidding me? Someone please tell me why this woman is still here doing her best to drag this business down? - Mar 26, 2024
Had been wanting to try this for a bit... stopped by and got some surf & turf fried to go. It was good!! Salsa was good, service was good. No complaints whatsoever. Kool pix/paintings on the walls, good stuff!!

It's our go to spot for Mexican food. My 13 year old son swears they have the best California Burrito, and I have to agree. The carne asada is juicy and very flavorful. We also like their surf and turf burritos.

I ordered the hot Cheetos birria burrito and it was so good, it's loaded with birria literally 2/3 of the burrito was filled with it and the meat was so tender and filled with flavor, there wasn't too much hot Cheetos in it which is fine because I'm telling you, there's so much birria in it, and it's oozing with nacho cheese. I usually put lime and salsa in my burrito but they had their guac in their salsa bar, and it was good, but spicy! I like spicy!
The order took about a 5 minute wait time and their servings are massive, one burrito will make you full full and price is not too bad either I paid about $11 for this massive burrito.
The dine in was simple, probably about maybe 10 tables that fit 4. If you're looking for a quick, decent priced and flavorful food, I strongly suggest you make a stop here. Their Cali burritos are so bomb too. Cant wait to come back!

7227591Jun 8, 2023We have been stopping by for their roll tacos, we have tried every combination possible. These are probably one of the best roll tacos we have had. The price, the quantity and the amount of stuffing in them is perfect. This place actually has good hot sauce (different levels of spicy) and it's not runny or pure paste. We have also tried their California burrito and it did not disappoint. Service has always been great and we never have to wait long for our order. They do have music playing in the background and it's never the same genre which is good.

This place has great Mexican food and the serving portions are pretty big. We have dined here a few times, and have tried their burritos, taquitos, tacos, and horchata. The staff are friendly and service is great! There is always a line when we visit this place and food is always consistent! The atmosphere can be noisy as the dining area inside is small. There are outdoor tables too. There were times when we ordered to go because there weren't enough seats for everyone.
