Be careful of their refund policy, I went in to
reschedule a boarding from this weekend to a different one in Aug. Due to unforeseen circumstances...because it was 6 days before the scheduled drop off, instead of 7 I lost my money, and you only get 50% if it is canceled 8 or more days prior...just a heads up, yes rules are rules, but as a frequent customer, I was very surprised...and needless to say I will not be going back!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Cynthia S.San Francisco, CA01Jan 26, 2019
I would not recommend this place to anyone. I was not impressed from the very start. The person that answered the phone was not pleasant at all, but I thought maybe just having a bad day. We have a standard poodle who we like his hair kind of on the longer side. I got a call from the same unfriendly lady after he had only been there for a short period of time, saying that they were going to have to shave him down. I think they took the easy way out. My dog is black and white. They shaved him so close that where his hair is white, his pink skin was very visible. He has skin irritations which are the razor being to close and possibly hot. We had to take him to our vet to have theses areas treated. He also was very skittish when we brought him home. I think it's possible these people were not nice to our dog. And then, the credit card issue. Nothing was said when I made them appointment or when my husband took the dog in about not accepting credit cards. I had my son pick him up and when he pulled out his credit card, the lady rudely pointed at the sign that said no cards. How many people do you know that carry $95 cash in their pocket. We will never take our dog there for anything. It's interesting. We moved to Jackson about a year ago and have been so impressed with all of the nice people here. This is our first encounter of rudeness, not to mention a bad experience for our dog.

I was surprised at the lack of reviews since this business has been around for years, here's my review. First off they do not take credit or debit cards and declined to mention that on the phone, I would have brought my check book if she would have told me I had to pay in advance in cash or check. The facility looked nice, large kennels and an outside area for the dogs to run around. The owner didn't seem to have any customer service skills, not friendly at all but I thought maybe she's better with animals. When I dropped off my 2 dogs I gave her their 2 food bins and she taped their names to the bins. I asked her if she wanted to know how much to feed them and she replied "We give them all 2 to 3 cups twice a day". I have 2 large dogs that eat very good dog food, one gets 1.75 cups and the other .75 cups. I told her this and she said OK but made no note of it. She didn't interact with the dogs at all when I brought them in, didn't even say hi or pet them. When my husband picked them up they smelled terrible and one dog had tears on 3 paw pads, on different paws! He had a bandage on his ankle when we dropped him off, it was still there when we picked him up but it smelled like it had been soaked in urine. I had explained to the owner when I dropped him off that if the bandage came off it was fine, we just wanted to protect his ankle from him licking it raw. I can't begin to explain how bad both dogs smelled and how stressed out they were when they were picked up. I will never board them here again, worst kennel ever! I should have trusted my intuition on this one. The only person I've seen working here is the owner so I suspect she has no support staff and the dogs are left alone all the time
