I used to love Burlington stores. But I came to this location and it's ridiculous how they have roped off the entrance and make you wait like you're about to get on a roller coaster. Then you go inside and there's literally no one around. Only one employee working the register while 2 other employees were gossiping. There we'd like 7 people in front of me. I didn't purchase anything. I left because I had no patience for this. I'll probably never come here again ! Prices were ok

Ok so after leaving the gym next door I thought I could maybe find a new pair of workout pants here...I found a few pair but wanted to try them on...the fitting rooms are closed and I was told THEY ONLY OPEN THE FITTING ROOMS ON THE WEEKEND! Wtf kinda bs is that???? She told me if they don't fit I can bring them back!!! So I'm supposed to BUY 5 PAIRS OF PANTS AND TAKE THEM HOME TO TRY THEM ON and bring them back if I don't like them? WTF....only in Compton! I put the pants back and left! I swear every business I go into in the hood, I expect to leave disappointed! Never coming here again cuz that's just stupid! Customer service is TRASH! If I were a manager and saw these kind of reviews and saw my store only had 2 stars, I'd be embarrassed!

I understand that this is the holiday shopping season, but this is ridiculous. There are over 60 people standing in line and there are only 4 tellers open. They are not ready for this shopping season.

Went yesterday and the line wasn't that long but 5 people walking around the cashier in and out, one cashier only charging and she's taking her time and she lasted 5 min without a customer pretending she was doing something while chewing her gum!!!! No one even turned to say anything to us or nothing!!!!! Then the security wanted to buy something and one of the girls that was just walking around the cashier rang her up knowing the line got bigger!!!! Bad customer service.!!!!!!

I purchased a pair of Reebok shoes at the Upland store December 29,2021priced at $19.99 . I was charged $25.99.. I noticed the error in Compton . I realize that they overcharged me today January 1, 2022 I went to the Compton store for the second day to attempt to return the shoes to get my six dollars .the manager Karla G told me that it would be better for her if I went back to Upland because it cost her money to return me the cash. I informed her that she could put it on the card I used. Karla stated they always give the cash. Which is not true. I informed her that that is a corporate issue. She should complain to Corporate not the customer. I was not driving 60 miles to get a credit.

While there is not much to be said for this area, the store itself is nice.
Clean and well stocked, service was nice, line long as always.
I come here for my teenager since they have brands he likes at great prices.

I went today to kook for sport's coat. I am going to a wedding next weekend in Kentucky and the weather is suppose to be pretty chilli so I figured I'd wear a suit or at least a sports coat over my dress shirt. They had a few decent brands like Calvin Klein, Perry Ellis, and Kenneth Cole. Sizes varied from 38 small to about 46. Pretty small selection. I ended up with a Navy blue Suit from Perry Ellis Portfolio selection. The Jacket was $89.99 and the pants were $39.99. All together I paid about $135 for a nice suit!
Now as far as shoes and belts? Well I didn't see much selection on belts. They did have a lot of ties. Nice ties too. Dress Shirt section was pretty good too. They had a large selection on shirts. Decent hats; Fedoras, Baseball hats, and paperboy style.

I came in to this location today to do a simple return without a receipt because I am a loyalty member. I didn't purchase the baby swing at this location but Burlington has a policy to accept merchandise from other locations. This is closer to me & i thought convenient being i'm 9 mths pregnant.I also made my purchase with a specific credit card so it should've been a easy transaction. Unfortunately, it wasn't due to the incompetent lazy staff. They told me they couldn't take it back after me providing my loyalty # and inserting my same credit card used to make the purchase. This was the final decision of the so called store manager who never showed their face. They acted as if it was stolen. Anywho i took the trip to the downey store where i bought this swing & it was returned without my receipt using My Same Card i used at the compton location. They found it that easy. I asked the cashier why would the employees at compton have a issue doing what she had just done. Her reply was clearly they aren't trained or just didn't want to do it for you. Wow. That was last time going to Compton anyway; it's unorganized and dirty. A girl was stealing when i first walked in & they knew it but security stood and watched. To be honest nothing there looks worthy to steal; they need inventory bad. Also train your employees better to provide a better service to those who spend money at your business monthly.

This Burlington has been good to me probably 10 times. For some reason I could never find anything here I like to wear here. The store is a mess, and they have a poor Selection of women's clothes. The bags aren't up to my satisfaction either. I was told you have to go on particular days to find good stuff. I also heard the management let the employees shop before the store opens so the public gets the left overs. But again, I'm not sure that's true. The home accessories items are great!! They have the cutest things for your home and a very large selection. But the sections are really messy and everything is everywhere. The customer service is medocure and nothing to scream to your Mom about.
The area is suspect, so I find myself looking over my shoulders a lot. But if I ever need anything quick and I'm in the neighborhood, I will stop here again.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0
