Burger King

I really don't understand why giving customers hot food is such a big deal or should I say issue so If you want cold salty fries, this is the place to be the customer service is definitely on point though just don't expect hot food

The cashier was very rude, and had an attitude. He was being very disrespectful. We didnt do anything wrong either, we were kind and respectful, however he wasnt.

Terrible service. People waiting in the drive thru for over ten minutes to have their orders taken and the place is not even busy.

The first thing you'll notice is that the door handles are shaped like spatulas. Whether this is a good, bad, or neutral thing is really a matter of preference. For me, it's not great.

That said, this is a perfectly adequate Burger King restaurant. Once in a while you'll end up with less-than-fresh fries (also applies to chicken fries) but that's just the short end of the fast food stick, I think.

I don't eat in here much, but it always seems pretty clean and well-maintained inside. They've got one of those nice touchscreen soda machines so you can do horrible things like orange raspberry Coca-Cola if you hate yourself. Me, I like Sprite. Plain Sprite.

The people who work at this Burger King are always nice. Sometimes they seem a little stressed out, probably because they are. That's okay sometimes. I still think they mean it when they tell me to have a nice day.

If you are in downtown Oshkosh and would like a Whopper or long chicken sandwich, this is the place. And it's not bad.

I had such a wonderful time some weeks ago on a Sunday night... I left a bar on Main St, and just needed to eat something before a not too long, but not insignificant drive back to my apartment. So I went into its drive thru, and, even though the restaurant was shutting down, the gentleman was so kind in offering food that was available, and even gave me a discount because probably the food was going to be thrown away. I thanked him and he was very polite in return. It helped make that night very memorable than most ... and the double burger was great too!!

I stopped by this location on occasion for coffee on my way to the store. That is a habit I am taking out of my schedule.

I don't know who is teaching people how oil works here, but they are severely mistaken in their technique. Severely. Like something out of a cartoon, my first bite into a chicken sandwich squirted a pure stream of oil onto the table. I had to drop the food from my mouth before I chewed a second time, as the first coated my mouth in oil. I squeezed my sandwich and oil came gushing out. The patty was so hilariously oil-logged that putting pressure on it made it shoot oil in every direction. How they've managed to sponge up that much in a single patty is just... Beyond me. I assume that the fryers are not just set too low, but are cool enough to stick your hands into. There is no way they could be this wet and be at the proper frying temp.

This isn't just the chicken sandwich; If it touches oil in that location, you can bet that the grease factor will be jaw-dropping, rendering your food inedible.

I'm usually up for working things out in the store by explaining what exactly is wrong with food and how they can remedy it. I have not approached the counter on this issue the three times it came up with three different foods. I would be unsure of how to converse on the issue-- Problems this shockingly, fundamentally wrong only lead to discussions that get into abstract ideas of what "food" is, and I just can't do that at a Burger King counter with someone who does not care THIS much.

Send a rep out to this location. There is no way the food could pass a cursory quality check.

Chicken nuggets and double quarter pounder weren't what I thought they were going to be

There is an employee named Jimmy that deserves a raise or at the vary least needs to be recognized for his wonderful personality. Every time we are there he is so pleasant. He puts a smile on our face every time. This is very rare in the fast food industry. They are either busy fooling around with each other or seem like they hate their job. Now that I think about it, I don't think I ever met one that actually is as pleasant as this kid. So please acknowledge him in one way or another.

It is, what it is...fast food hopefully done right. I work in the downtown area and have frequented this location hundreds of times in the past twenty some years. It's gone from a cheezy 70's and 80's carbon copy fast food joint to a fairly attractive coffee house looking place. Manager has been in this location for over 20 years and seems to attract an eclectic and interesting crew. One lady in particular has been there practically since day one can run the drive thru to perfection with speed and total accuracy. Burger King in general has a bigger better product than most "fast food" places therefore is a bit more pricey, but like they say, you get what you pay for. In my opinion the chocolate shakes are among the best of the quick service chains.
So if you want to have it your way, stop down, maybe pick up a crown, a Whopper and a Coke or any one of the hundreds of flavors available through the Coca Cola Freestyle machine, you'll be, there is a taste for everyone.
