Burger King

Well-loved Burger King in Bernalillo, right off I-25. There's a gas station with convenience store, and it's easy to get back on the highway from here.

I stopped in for some road food, eager to try the Big King XL burger. This Big Mac competitor is a huge meaty monster of a sandwich. I opted for the meal so as to share the fries and drink with my girlfriend, who ordered a spicy chicken sandwich.

The chicken sandwich took a few minutes, fresh cooked. We got our food and began munching in the restaurant. Fries were adequate but nothing special. The Big King XL was good, though definitely not good for you.

In the end, you know what you're getting into with Burger King. This location is fairly competent, but, like many of ABQ's BK locations, it's nothing to write home about.

Gas is rarely working and prices aren't posted.
Bathrooms are disgusting.
However, if you need a new place to buy a crack pipe or a weed stash box, the Head Shop housed in the Burger King/Gas station lobby is a great

Very disappointed by this Burger King, it shouldn't even be called a burger peasant because everyone here is a peasant. I am their king and they did not listen. The ice cream machine was broken and I only expect that from McDonald's.

At least it's a lot better now and services are good and food is good and the burgers and chicken tenders are good.
